| History Dylan grew up as the 7th of 9 Children, and though his life was far from luxurious in Rawanda, he was more than happy with his family life. All that he loved was abruptly taken away from him in the mid nineties when the genocide began in his homeland. Dylan's mother was of Tutsi decent, which European colonists used to classify the taller inhabitants of Rawanda, and his father was of the other decent, Hutu. Admist the Hutu and Tutsi fighting his family was murdered, Dylan also was exposed first hand to his family's fate when he stabbed in the chest and assumed dead. It was at this moment that his mutant abilities awoke, the destroyed part of his body regenerated thanks to the absorbing of the strong sunbeams outside, he was later found by missionary, Julie Summers, who ultimately took young Dylan back to England where he started his new life. He then spent time learning to master his powers while learning a new way of life...unfortunately the reality of what happens still haunts him through nightmares. When he was 12 he tested into high school and by the time he was 19 he was done with college. He found a love in teaching but felt a greater calling to help the mutant ability, thus his arrival in the state of New York. |
| Mutations Dylan has the unique ability of absorbing solar radiation and rechanneling it through his body to create intense heat (waves), dark solar plasma blasts and thermal uplifts for flight. Dylan can also metabolize the sunlight to charge up his muscles to increase strength, endurance, and resilence. Unused solar radiation can be stored within his body for night use or for healing purposes. It can safely be concluded that Dylan has a tolerence to any extremely hot temperature. Another ability that Dominic rarely uses because of his good nature is very distinct ability to intensify the powers of other mutants. He can also bring to life dormant mutant abilities in those who have not yet to have been fortunate enough to awaken their x-gene. You could say he can sense a mutant because of the ability in a similar way to Sentinels. |
