I have lived on Cape Cod for almost 10 years and love being near the ocean. I grew up in Connecticut, where we lived an hour away from Long Island Sound. It was my mother who instilled this love of the ocean in me.

We would get up early in the morning in the summer, pack up the car and drive to the beach. When we got close, my Mom would breath in deeply and say "Mmmmmmm, smell that salt air!"

I moved to the Cape to take a job at a software company headquartered on the Cape, After my Mom passed away seven years ago, I had my Dad move back up from Florida and come live with me. I bought a house with a big yard and a workshop for him. He is still active for a 77 year old and goes square dancing every week - even after his bi-pass surgery!

When I am not working or taking care of Chauncey, I spend my time crafting - rubber art stamping (cards, altered books, and everything else you can think to stamp), jewelry making (beading mostly), millinary, and cake decorating. I also garden and work on the house - always something to do!
