                                                                                    July 23, 2001

The vehicle dash cards, membership cards and guest cards have been recieved. They will be given out at our next work weekend. As usual, please diplay the dash card on the vehicle's dash while in Four Lakes Reserve.

The Company still plans to sell the land, but nothing has been finalized yet. Until then, business will continue as usual.
We will be notified of any changes.

Charles Self had recieved several calls from members in Bearden concering rumors about Four Lakes being open to the public. This rumor  is "FALSE." If any member happens to be on the lease and see someone that is not recognizeable, then it is a legitimate reason to question that person. A lock was changed north of Covington lake, hoping it would change things,  but it didn't. Charles found nine gates unlocked, so he changed a few locks that a few people can unlock. If a member finds a gate he/she cannot open, then try another one. Charles also states that once things have settle down, then the original locks  will be placed back.

At this time three areas are available for lease.

  ~ McDill Hunting Club's area
(north of Turner Road, East of Cottonbelt Tram, and south of Bay Herbert)

  ~ J&T Hunting Club
(south of Zoller Road, West of Evans Road, and east of Jay Trail)

  ~ Pine Knot
(South of Camp Trail, West of Stockton Trail, and East of Proctor Trail)

If anyone is interested in leasing one of these areas, please contact:
