She's been in Ravenclaw for six years, and is about to start her seventh, and final year in that house. She was the Head Girl in her sixth year, which is quite shocking seeing as there has rarely even been a sixth year as a Head.
Her mother, Kerri Jones, is the school Librarian and the H.o.H for Hufflepuff; her dad, Denred Jones, is the H.o.H for Gryffindor, the Deputy Headmaster and he is the Professor of Transfiguration.
To Solara's dismay she did not follow in her mum's footsteps, with getting into Gryffindor House, however she got into her second choice, Ravenclaw. Dispite their different houses, she and her twin sister, Mensa, are pretty close.
Young Solara is already engaged, to a Malfoy! Locke Malfoy asked her to marry him not far from the end of their sixth year. Solara, to her parents' dismay is already pregnant - but not by Locke.
