To the Ends of the Earth Value Judgements Tried and True ??? (unnamed) The Gates of Hell The End of the Line "To the Ends of the Earth" by jms. Gideon comes across an alien who has spotted a ship similar to the one that destroyed the Cerberus. The Excalibur tracks it down and follows it to it base. They also switch back to the black uniforms when Gideon arranges an "accident" in the laundry room. "Value Judgements" by Fiona Avery The crew go down on a planet looking for what could be a miracle cure, and the only one willing to help them find it, is a fugitive named Alfred Bester. "Tried and True" by Fiona Avery Dureena's mentor wants to know what she's doing on an Earth Force starship, and challenges her to prove her loyalty to the Thieves Guild. ??? by Richard Mueller (part one of three) Dureena is kidnapped by an "ethereal looking ship". "The Gates of Hell (a.k.a. The Walls of Hell)" by Larry DiTillio (part two of three) >From Larry: ----- "I had only 3 of the actors available, Daniel Kim, Gary Cole and some new character that had been shoved in for more "hunk appeal" or something. And I had to stay on the Excalibur. So it was a toughie to make work. Basically, the "Box" gave Kim's character the powers of a machine empath and he linked with the ship itself. This drove him insane and strange things began happening all around the ship. At the same time the captain was trying to take back the ship but not kill is First officer in the process. A lot of character stuff and my usual dose of mayhem... My basic theme was for the characters to be reminded of things they had done for good reasons, which had consequences that were not so good for others who were involved." ----- In an interview he also states that this would happen as they were trying to find Dureena (I'm guessing Gideon tried a bit to hard to get the box's help). BTW - Larry is currently doing fine and trying to sell a TV series (live action SF). "The End of The Line" by jms (part three of three) Season ender. Not much known. It would bring together all the elements of the arc (the mystery ship, Galen's real mission, ect). End in a big cliffhanger. The usual stuff... :o) Other stuff: Before the seasons end, Dureena would have found a sword in an ancient tomb.
