Carbon fiber in the automotive industry
Back to Automotive Page
While carbon fiber is widely used for many components of modern race cars and motorcycles, it is also used in many of today';s high performance street cars (and motorcycles) to help reduce the weight of the vehicles therefore increasing their performance. Below are several pictures of street legal cars (and a motorcycle) that all make extensive use of carbon fiber in their construction for things such as body panels, brakes (Ferrari), and chassis elements.
