This is a photo of me putting together a computer. That is another of
my interests.
For a number of years I am a ham radio operator as well. My call sign is G7RUR. Unfortunately, I have somewhat neglected the amateur radio, due to work
commitments. Occasionally, I tune in and talk to fellow amateurs all over the world. Our daughter Iris (callsign M3KKI) is also a ham radio enthusiast.
However, my favoured passtime activity is mixing music. I have a huge collection of tracks, some new, some old and a good number of my own mixes. I am hoping to succed to put some of my creations on this website.
I am happily married to Magda and we have two "kids", Iris (25) and Srdjan (23). They are both very busy. Iris is an undergraduate student of Liverpool John Moores University, studying hazards and geoscience. Srdjan is a graduate of Lancaster University having recently finished a BSc in Computer Science. He works as a software developer near Norwich. Previously he worked (voluntarily) at Jodrell Bank Observatory with the eVLBI team on networking issues and programming.
Magda is busy with her PhD studies (in Jodrell Bank) and being a full time mother. She is due to finish her PhD in the next few months and has a lot of data analysis to do, not to mention writing her thesis. She is hoping to graduate in July 2008.
We have two more minor but very important members of our family - Mitzy and Garfield - our cats. They seem to rule the house so we usually arrange our lives around their needs.
