Dream Weaver

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law,

happy is he.

Proverbs 29:18

People who refuse to dream close the window of their imagination, from which dreams travel. Dreams are the forerunner of any big event.

Without dreams, there is no reality.

Do you know what you want?

Have you thought it through?

Explored the possibilities? Set goals?

Determined that you will achieve them?

Sometimes you must sit down and wrestle with yourself until you know the answers to these questions. Maybe you once had a dream and let that dream vanish. or maybe you dreamed a dream, accomplished it, and now are ready to dream again.

When you dream, because you have dared to dream... because you have chosen to seek for more than what you presently possess...your very desire, coupled with your expectancy and fortified with a strong work ethic,

will set you in place to receive.

Dream again and dream until your dream is fulfilled.

It was Hannah's lack that caused her to dream (I Sam. 1-20).

Her misery, provoked by the taunting of Peninnah, caused her to dream and to pray. Hannah and Peninnah were the wives of Elkanah. Peninnah had children and Hannah had none. Hannah's barrenness, in an era and culture that applauded and celebrated motherhood, fueled her dream.

She longed for a child of her own. And so she spun her dream until God answered her prayer and gave her a child... Samuel.

Yes, it's sometimes difficult to make dreams reality because dream weaving is hard work. But it's not impossible. So whatever you are dreaming...

keep the vision before you,

dream against the odds,

find a promise in the word of God that supports your vision,

and like Hannah continue relentlessly in your pursuit until your dream becomes your reality.

Vision is the art of seeing things invisible... Jonathan Swift
