Basic information: Marou's the father of Ukyou and is the ruler of the city. He believes the time of the samurai has ended and wants to govern a city where there are no samurais. However, he does not send people out to banish the samurai only until lately when the imperial envoy was found murdered by a samurai sword. Ironically, his personal bodyguards are both samurais.

Basic information: Hyougo is/was usually seen with Kyuuzou, walking close by Marou and bodyguarding him near full-time. He can be quite arrogant and seemingly believes to be the stronger one between Kyuuzou and him.
