Kawasaki ZX-6R
Today 3 June 1998, I received my newest addition to my toy collection...a Kawasaki ZX-6R. I am new to the motorcycling world so I am being very careful with this new toy. I do not have my license yet but I will...I hope. After this weekend June 12-14, 1998. I will be attending Rider Safety class offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

June 14, 1998: I have just completed Motorcycle Rider Course and I passed. Tomorrow I will go and get my license at DMV/MVS.
Here are some pictures of a 1998 Kawasaki ZX-6R. My bike has the exact same color as the pictures below. I got these pictures from the web, the site is called Motorcycle Online.

As you all know, the 1998 Kawasaki ZX-6R is taking the 600cc sportbike class by storm. It looks like I bought the right bike. Everyone was telling me to start out with a smaller bike like the Kawasaki Ninja 250cc. But as stubborn as I am, I went and bought the big bike. Not to mention I am only 5 foot 4 inches tall...if you would call that tall, riding a big 600cc bike.
I have been riding for about a week and I even got a chance to drive a Honda CBR900RR a couple of days ago. My friend bought one and he does not have a permit, a license, or know how to drive a motorcycle. At first I thought I was going to have a hard time driving it because of its size, but as soon as I hopped over the seat I felt very comfortable riding it. Actually the CBR900RR has a lower seat height that the ZX-6R. It might just be the fact that the ZX-6R's ride height is adjustable. Looking at the rear shock, I still have enough room to lower the ride height by another 0.5 inch to 0.75 inch.
