It is not always easy to follow the 2 commandments of Christ, yet it is to be our goal to behave like Jesus did during His time here. It was very hard for me to understand that I should BLESS the person that made me feel like an idiot or Love the one who lied against me or hurt me in other ways. How is it possible to Love my neighbors much less my enemies? If I can only Love God with all my heart, mind, soul and strength can I then Love my neighbor as myself? Can I even Love myself? Thats a hard question right there. If I love myself is it being egotistic, or selfish? It is not if you understand the proper definition for loving yourself as Jesus loves you. The purpose of loving yourself is to avoid self destructive tendencies and to care enough about yourself that you are able to be able physically and emotionally to reach out to others and help them as Jesus did in His lifetime. I have spent a lot of time this year learning that loving myself Is loving others too. I hope I will be able to find the words here to share that journey with you and maybe help you to find your way to The Hands of God. It is where I am learning to spend my time, and it Is Peace!
