When you search for me, you will find me." Jeremiah 29:13 How many times have you lost something and searched frantically for it, only to discover that it was right under your nose the whole time? So intent on finding what you had lost that you looked right past it.
Something similar may happen in your search for truth and for the answer to the age-old question, "Who am I?" The answer is so close to you that you might be overlooking it -- the answer is God is in you.
So take a look at yourself. Do you see the light of god shining forth from your eyes? As, yes, there it is! In that light you see that you are a beloved child of God, made in the divine image. God created you to express spirituality. If you have been looking here and there to become more spiritual, your search is over. The spirit of God is always within us.
