Some roving I dyed last week with kool-aid (I think it is a tulip colorway, huh?).

hey, some of the Spindlers have decided to do a wheel-along (build their own wheels!) and I'm in! I have put a bunch of links up on the Spindlers page for the things that I have found so far toward this endeavor. Yesterday my books came from http://earthguild.com -- No-Lathe Saxony Wheel and Small Upright Spinning Wheel (something like that). I sorta figure that between those two books, studying my Babe, and looking at other people's homemade wheels, I can build a wheel.



I am not really much of a woodworker, so I want to do it something like the "Little Great Wheel" from Spin-Off -- using pre-turned pieces from someplace like Lowe's or Home Depot.
