My dialup service is being cancelled tomorrow.  Urgh!  So my Goodness Gracious Fitted Baby Diaper Pattern is temporarily homeless.  I have set up a little AOL free pagefor Goodness Gracious for now, but, of course, it will be hard to GET to it unless you know where it is!  My V3 redirect works still, but I can't use my old ISP server to store the files.  Anyhow, you can also get to the free AOL page by going to my http://welcome.to.goodnessgracious address, but then you have to deal with not only the AOL ads but the V3 ads.  Sorry!  I'll try to get the files onto the blog address here, too.

I am an obsessed knitter and spinner and I've never had a blog before!

A couple of weeks ago I built myself a spinning wheel (most spinning types call this a charkha, I guess, because it has a spindle for spinning on, rather than a bobbin and flyer).  I will try to post a photo soon--but with the dialup issue, it might take a bit.

Right now I just finished up self-striping socks for my son Christopher and am doing a prayer shawl for a man at church, a pink alpaca lace-weight shawl that I want to give to my mom when it is done (it is her birthday, but it isn't ready now, maybe Christmas?), and I just started knitting some socks from energized singles -- haven't gotten very far with that.
