I installed Morepheus today …

After so much frustration with Kazaa because of its  adware and spyware infested nature, and the lack of getting anything out of it without a headache anymore, I started looking for another alternative. I wanted to use one of the bit-torrent clients out there in the ‘net.

I tried and played with Azureus, for a couple of days, man, it was so sluggish. Very slow and has tons of features that,to me, looked too much. It’s a Java written app and may have some of the short comings of most Java apps – not slick like a C++ native app. Any way, I had to look for another one so I searched and I stumbled upon Morpheus.

So far, things look so nice and slick with so much nice and useful features(unlike the Azureus ones )… I have yet to still play with it for a couple of days more.

My conclusion, for people looking a good alternative to Kazaa, especially those looking for audio music files, Morpheus is the one. 

I saw Eddie Griffin’s one man show – dysfunctional family

These days I am into comedy, especially  those helarious one-man shows, Eddie Murphy's "delerious" is for me the yard stick to this genre. Any way, back to what I just saw yesterday. Nice one.

It was very funny, I liked the guy. He is hilarious. I like the joke about the 9/11 … fact about race religion improving, only for 30 days ;-) then … “ well, niggers, we figured it out … back to being nigger go ahead …”

And an interesting thing I stumbled upon when reading …. “ the Arabs don’t use their left hand to eat or shake hand, as it is reserved for bodily hygiene.  No wonder folks back home tell us not use our hands to eat or shake hands with – no wonder we didn’t get a satisfying answer as to why we shouldn’t. Guess this one does.
