Sun in Sagittarius

The Sagittarian is one who, in a past experience, lived a life of honour, integrity and uprightness and who showed to others these qualities in so consistent a fashion that the others were positively helped in their spiritual progress by the experience. The result of the life of honour is a tap into the highest possible spiritual source of such urges, so that they are always readily available to the soul and also to the personality, filters permitting.
The task of the Sagittarian is to utilize the urges and to demonstrate uprightness again in this life without allowing the excessive emphasis on honesty and candour to hurt others. It can happen that the Sagittarian is so determined not to hide anything that he fails to consider his thoughts before he gives utterance to them. Not pausing to think of what effect one's words might have on another can lead to embarrassment, awkwardness, and even pain - even though the inflicting of discomfort or pain on another was the farthest thing from the Sagittarian's mind. The major lesson then is not to blurt out thoughts without thinking first what effect they might have on another.

The aspect configuration between your Neptune and Sun shows that you are sensitive to the inner voice. The ability to tap into the subconscious levels of your being was developed in previous lifetimes. In this lifetime you can use that source of wisdom for your own and other people's benefit.

Moon in Libra

Moon in Libra indicates an early home environment that was characterized by control of emotional excesses, with at least an outward show of tranquillity and harmony.
Superficially your early life was smooth and tranquil but beneath the surface there is likely to be some unresolved conflict and turmoil.
Since children are far more perceptive than most adults realize, it is certain that a child in such a tightly-capped situation will pick up from the early home life a feeling that home and marriage require an absolute control of the conflict urges within, regardless of the cost. However, energies not allowed to release naturally will ground out in some less healthy manner. If there are strongly felt inner conflicts it would be very beneficial to work through these with the help of spiritually based counsellors who work in this field.

The aspect configuration between your Uranus and the Moon indicates fluctuating emotional responses, usually due to inner distress experienced in early childhood from the parents. The past is in conflict with the future and there is an inner need to rebel against past patterns.

Mercury in Sagittarius

Your configuration for Mercury points to a distinctly youthful and adventurous outlook on life that is likely to persist into old age.

The aspect configuration between your Venus and Mercury shows charm and the ability to express one's thoughts gracefully. There is usually a pleasant voice with this aspect. There is also usually an appreciation of the "mental" arts, music, literature, poetry, etc.

Venus in Aquarius

Your configuration for Venus shows openness in relationships with goodwill towards all. You like freedom and independence in relationships and won't easily be tied down.

Mars in Aquarius

Your configuration for Mars shows considerable mental energy.
This is generally quite a positive placement endowing one with strong mental gifts.
There can be a tendency at times for the mind to play excessively with notions of sexuality, sexual fantasies, etc, but this is not a serious problem for one with this placement.

Jupiter in Taurus

This configuration for Jupiter promises benefits of a material nature.
You should not have too much difficulty in satisfying your material needs.

Saturn in Libra

Saturn in Libra can point to possible problems in the marriage or partnership area. If such problems exist they usually stem from an unwillingness of the people involved to participate in the give and take, the compromises and the tolerance of the other which a successful partnership requires. The individual with this placement is usually unwilling to make such compromises and is therefore likely to run into difficulties in situations that require cooperative decision making. The main lesson is to examine one's attitude to the partnership department of life and all that it entails.

The aspect configuration between your Saturn and Sun always shows a problem in dealing with one of the parents. This can lead to an inadequate self-image in terms of being able to assert one's power and individuality.
Usually this configuration signals difficulties in dealing with authority, eg. government, police, authority figures in general. There can be an over-reaction against rules, laws and restrictions. The main lesson is to recognize that there is value in guidelines, laws and restrictions - that man must play his "games" in accordance with rules, or else the games cannot exist.

The aspect configuration between your Saturn and Neptune points to a tendency to want to blur the harsh realities of life by resorting to "escapist" activities. These can range from light escapist pastimes, such as excessive television watching, to the more serious problems of drinking or drug taking.
This attitude usually results from disillusionment with life and one's ability to achieve what one wants. There is a need here to realise that it is one's defeatist attitude, more than anything else, which is the stumbling block.

The aspect configuration between your Saturn and Pluto indicates that an extremely far reaching change is required in this lifetime. It is a change that affects the unconscious sphere deeply. In some manner an attitude, outlook, way of thinking or approach to some area of the life experience must undergo a radical alteration, one which in almost every case will be forced upon the individual by events or circumstances beyond his/her control if resisted. See the above comments for Saturn and the Pluto in Houses section for clues to the required change.

Uranus in Cancer

Uranus in Cancer, relating to the early home, would point to unusual circumstances in the early home experience, and usually shows that the "background" of the individual is in some way irregular or different. Inwardly, Uranus m the Moon's sign shows that, in some way, the picture or "gestalt" which the individual has of the archetypal female/mother figure is off-center or lopsided in some way. Females with this placement are often determined not to follow the model which their own mothers set, but this determination is always at odds with an even deeper wish to in fact relive the pattern which the mother laid down.

Note: What follows depends more critically on the time of birth. If the birth time is inaccurate some of the following might not be applicable.

ASC in Sagittarius

Sagittarius Ascendant will tend to make the individual see themself as upright, honest and morally strong, whether true or not. It will also give a yearning to see the world through travel. One often observes the qualities of bravery with an outspoken nature, together with an optimistic and friendly approach to life.
In its effect upon life, this Ascendant often delays marriage or causes there to be more than one marriage-like relationship, usually because of a tendency to cling to the youthfulness and adventurousness of the sign Sagittarius for many years after others have abandoned the excitement of their youthful dreams. This is not by any means meant as a criticism of a youthful outlook. Indeed, most people in the world now take up a far too serious and heavy an attitude to life at an early age, turning their backs on the sense of fun and excitement which the Creator intended man to carry with him all his days.

MC in Virgo

Virgo at the Midheaven gives a tendency to project the characteristics of punctuality, practicality and a sense of the importance of detail and organization. A critical streak may also be observed by others, as well as a certain idealistic tendency.
Generally this configuration signifies that a very important lesson needs to be learnt in this lifetime. See the Saturn in signs and houses sections for clues to that lesson.

Sun in House 1

The Sun in the first house indicates a tendency to dwell on the self. That is, the self-image will strongly pre-occupy the mind. "Self-absorbed" will often be an appropriate adjective. This can create difficulties as one can become too "self-conscious", identifying too strongly with one's problems.
Another direct effect of the Sun in the first is to add a note of power to the personality. There is always a distinct aura of will and strength projected forth to the world, whether or not these traits are there at the deeper level. Usually such an "overlay" effect, which the Sun has, is deliberately added to the personality in order to compensate for a conviction of inferiority arising from episodes in previous lives. Thus it will often be observed that one with the Sun in the first is adept at projecting a facade of strength, will and control over the environment, while inwardly there lurks a desperate fear that others will one day discover the incompetence or the unworthiness or the self-embarrassment which constantly echoes, like a mocking laugh, up from the depths of subconscious recollection.
The main lesson of this placement is the necessity of passing through many testing periods in terms of the ego or self. In many cases a breaking down of the old pattern is necessary, the purpose being one of integrating and "making whole" the sense of self. It is essential to achieve balance in the multifarious facets of the personality. Thus you will probably find yourself passing through many life-phases, changes in jobs or life-styles, etc., which are designed to draw out and develop quite different traits. An intense business career may give way to a more sequestered path, or a family-oriented life-style. The man who in early life literally lives for sport and physical sensation may be drawn at a later point to the realms of mental speculation and study. The woman who thinks at first that she wants only marriage and family, may awaken one day with a yearning for other adventures.

Moon in House 11

The house placement for the Moon shows that you are responsive to the feelings of others. You are likely to have many friends, and possibly also some enemies, especially among women.
With this Moon configuration there is the suggestion that some of the adult females met with in the course of the life had once been rivals of yours in a previous existence. This almost always applies to the person's own mother in the present life, and often the problem is one of rivalry for the affections of some third soul. That third soul is usually also present in the family circle, often either the present father or brothers or sisters. If you feel this to be the case, particularly with your own mother, it is important to try to reach some understanding with those others. As otherwise such enmity will manifest itself in future lives together.

Mercury in House 12

Your house placement for Mercury shows an intuitive and sensitive mind. A mind that is suited to artistic work, psychological or counselling work, or even psychic work.
This placement also indicates that your last life probably ended at an early age. This could be responsible for subconscious fears or phobias carried over into the present life and would need to be addressed.

Venus in House 3

Your house placement for Venus shows artistic and creative abilities, particularly with the "mental" arts, such as writing, poetry, etc.
However, what is also usually observed with this placement is that the mental gifts are much influenced by the course of one's affectional life. When the love experiences run smoothly, the mental qualities function at their best. But if heartbreak comes along, the ability to think clearly and productively is interfered with. The main lesson here is to learn not to allow the vagaries of one's emotional life to interfere with one's judgement, rational abilities or mental focus.

Mars in House 3

Your house placement for Mars shows that considerable mental energy is present. There is much alertness and the ability to exert the mind's faculties on any problem. This is usually the result of a string of lives dedicated to strengthening the mental abilities.
The main difficulty with this placement is that all this mental energy can overstimulate the thought processes. It can give one sleepless nights due to the constant churning of thoughts. When such constant mental stimulus comes about in an atmosphere of pure worldliness then the present life may well have been selected by the soul as the earth-experience in which spiritual practices will have to be learned in order to be able to contend with the mind's constant turmoil.
By practising non-thinking through various techniques available in such systems as traditional Yoga, the person can learn to still the mind, to make it smooth like the surface of a pond. In that quiescent state, their own intuition and the thoughts of their guides can make themselves felt.

Jupiter in House 6

Your house placement for Jupiter points to someone who is cooperative and helpful towards fellow workers.
You will most likely be happy in your daily routine of work. Through your positive approach you have the ability, if you choose to use it, of uplifting the spirits of your fellow workers.

Saturn in House 11

Your house placement for Saturn shows a practical and conservative approach to relationships. Friendships usually endure for many years.
This placement will also tend to bring into the life authority figures with whom antagonism or conflict is felt. Usually the earliest of these figures is one of the parents. If this is the case with one of your parents it is very likely that you two have been rivals or enemies in a former life. In which case it is important to try and resolve the conflict, as otherwise you will be drawn together in future lives by negative karmic bonds.
In fact it is important to try and find some resolution with any other person who might be in a similar relationship to you. For a mind filled with anger or resentment cannot find lasting peace. Love is a good antidote.

Uranus in House 8

Your house placement for Uranus indicates psychic feelings and strong intuition.
This configuration can also signify financial loss through the partner's actions. It is by no means a certainty that this will happen, however caution should be exercised in this area.
