Background as Suzaku Seishi: Miaka will met him in the empire, thinking he's a she. He at first, was BITCH (or bastard). But later on, he started to be more funny and wild, immature. He acted like a girl, look like a girl and speak like a girl. So I just see him as a girl, anyway. But wait! Until volume 9 and 10, Nuriko is mostly focused on, talking about his background and why he did become a girl. He finally ... ack.. nevermind!
My Opinions: I cried in Volume 10, if I saw it twice, I cried again. He's too good to Miaka, even though he pest on her, he still had respect for Tamahome and Miaka.
