The Eddying of Uneasiness
- Miaka talks with Tamahome in the forest. They talk about the same old stuff.......he asks Miaka to stay in this world with him after she summons Suzaku. After some thought, she says she will and they embrace. Nuriko hears all of this because he is hiding.....guess where he's hiding????...BEHIND A TREE!!
- The gang leaves for Tolan.
- Yui and Suboshi head for Tolan also. Nakago orders Ashitare, who is part wolf and part man and is also a Seiryuu seishi, to kill Miaka.
- Now in Tolan, the gang discuss their plan. They pair off and will each explore Tolan for any clues to where the Shinzaho is. Nuriko decides to go with Tama and Miaka. (seven isn't an even number duuuuhhhh) Nuriko, angered by the fact that Tama and Tasuki make comments that Nuriko will be hit on by drunks the whole time, cuts off her long pony tail in front of everyone! He can't be prissy anymore if they are going to fight the Seiryuu sei. Chiriko gives everyone flares, as their form of communication, to set off in Tolan if they get any info about the Shinzaho.
- Ashitare arrives in Tolan and is on the trail of Miaka.
- Now in their groups, Nuriko finds a plaque dedicated to Genbu and the Miko. But they need to get someone to read it for them cause it's written in old characters. A man says his dad can read it and he will take them to him. They suspect that he is bad news though, so Tamahome goes with the man.
- Yui and Suboshi are walking through Tolan. Yui distracts Suboshi and runs off to be by herself.
- Tama is led to a tavern where the man's father is. The man tries to mug Tama, who suspected that he was lying from the beginning. He wasn't lying.....for his father really can read the characters on the plaque........but they want Tama's money anyways. The man gets a bunch a drunks to attack Tama, but Tama kicks all their butts in less then 10 seconds!! Before things get bad, the man's father intervines and tells Tama what is on the plaque.
- Yui, now lost, sees some men talking in the street. She thinks back to when she was attacked in Kutou and runs away.
- The plaque says that the Shinzaho is in Mt. Black.
- As Tama rushes back to Miaka with the news, he crashes into Yui!!
- Nuriko and Miaka are talking at the plaque.
- Tama and Yui argue about Miaka. He tries to knock sense into her, but she screams out "Your just a man from a book!!!". This puzzles Tamahome......
- Miaka and Nuriko decide to see what is taking Tama so long.
- Keisuke and Tetsuya do some more research and read the book.
- The last scene is Ashitare diving toward Miaka and Nuriko screaming.
