Sad Battle
- Hotohori sword plunges into the bed. He loves Miaka too much to kill her. He decides to try to get Myojuan to help again and tells Miaka to try to deal with the pain until he gets back. Miaka promises.
- Tasuki and Nuriko are listening to this and Tasuki asks if they are in love. Nuriko punches him out. LOL!!!
- At Myojuan's, they beg for him to help Miaka and say that they can't do it the way Shoka wants to. Myojuan, astounded that they said the name "Shoka", tells them that Shoka died a year ago!! It's impossible that they even know her!!
- Back at Shoka's, Shoka decides to kill Miaka herself and holds up a knife to a sleeping Miaka.
- Hotohori and the gang go ballistic to the fact that the "Shoka" that Miaka is with is dangerous and they run off to save her.....leaving Myojuan totally clueless.
- Miaka, who isn't really sleeping, manages to dodge all of Shoka's stabs. She makes this speech about how she promised Hotohori she would bear with the pain and she has to resuce people (Tama and Yui) from Kutou. Shoka is touched by this and drops the knife.
- Tama is getting whipped by Nakago, who tells him never to mention Miaka around Yui again. Tama passes out.
- Shoka, who is shivering in a corner, tells Miaka to stay away from her or...........
- The gang hurries back to save Miaka but get attacked by more zombies. Hotohori keeps going while Tasuki and Nuriko try to hold them off. Tasuki is about to be attacked when a mysterious man shows up and punches the zombie.
- Shoka turns into a demon!!!!! She grabs Miaka just as Hotohori arrives and yells out that Shoka is actually dead!!
- Nuriko and Tasuki arrive with the mystery man, whom Shoka calls Juan. Everyone then realizes that Myojuan and this man are same person!!!! (Juan is a young man...not an old fart like Myojuan)
- While Tasuki and Nuriko try to hold off some more zombies, Juan and Shoka have a confrontation. Turns out that Shoka and Juan were lovers when she was alive. When she was suffering from her disease, Juan never came to see her. Miaka keeps Hotohori and Tasuki from attacking, saying that Shoka is a good person. This touches Shoka and she turns back to humanform. The demon comes out of Shoka and captures Miaka. Shoka begs Juan to use his power to kill her so the beast will not harm anyone anymore. (the demon is responsible for the disease plaguing the village) The gang attacks, but gets captured also. Juan has no choice but to kill Shoka. (this is sad.......) The zombies, who were really inocent people, dissappear.
- Juan absorbs the demon's energy from Miaka, and Miaka is all better now. She also spots a character on Juan's hand, he's the 6th seishi, Mitsukake!!!!!! (Mits for short) He has a healing ability.
- Juan tells them how he was in a distant village with Shoka was dying, and he coudn't save her. He picks up Shoka's body, and everyone is crying.
- Miaka makes a prromise to Shoka that she will get Yui and Tamahome back...only one more seishi to go!!!!
