Bella, as she is affectionately known, is owned by
Mat Brady of QLD.
Litter sister to CH Kjutse Box
Office Hit, she was the only other puppy from the litter of 4 girls and 2
boys to be exhibited.
Mrs Heather Gibson of Yakedo Akitas (formerly Kiso)
admired the dog I was exhibiting at the time (and doing VERY well with, :), CH
Frostfire Ebony Magic. Her eldest daughter Jody had just turned 10
(minimum age for Junior Handlers in QLD), and wanted a show bitch. Bella
and Candi were both beautiful puppies, and since we all lived in the same town,
we often competed against each other. Although titled one month later than
her sister, Bella won many Class In Show awards as a young bitch, with her
lovely head, markings and truly showy nature her obviously best assets.
At their first Royal Show together, Candi and Bella
went first and second in the Junior bitch class.
When Bella was 2, Heather expressed a desire to
breed Bella, to keep a young male for Jody to continue with. I arranged
for the then-untitled, but well-known Ch Ryfrost Silver Shadow to visit Heather
and Jody. Tom was leased to Heather, and she finished his title, and when
Bella was next in season, they were bred.
9 weeks later Bella produced a single male puppy,
now known as CH Kiso Silver Barge Boy. Tyson has never been bred, and has
been retired to a pet home, while Jody finished her school studies in the city.
Bella was sold through myself to a dear lady, Mrs
Flo Smithson (Kanaalhond Keeshonden), who had recently bought Kendoss Hot On
Aces from me as a show/breeding propect. Flo never succeeded in
registering her litter of 3 puppies from this litter, due to a paperwork
formality, which was a genuine shame. Due to her husband's continued very
ill health, Flo was forced to sell her two beloved Kees, Bella and Caesar, to
Mat Brady (Yobhonden Keeshonden).
Family issues meant that again Bella was looking for
a new home, and she has finally found her forever home with another friend, Kim
DaComb. Bella spends her days playing in Kim's backyard now with another
bitch I co-own, Yobhonden Rebel Rose.
