One Hundred (and One) Things

1. i was born in Kitchener Ontario in March of 1963, i was 21 inches long, weighed in at 6 pound 4 ounces. i think i look like ET in my baby pictures. i grew up in London, Ontario, where i still live.

2. i was kicked out of the original Star Wars movie more times than i ever got to see it all the way through. i would boo the good guys and cheer for Darth Vader.

3. i was married on my grandmother's birthday in 1983. It was my way of feeling closer to her and having her at my wedding. She had always said she would live long enough to meet the man i would marry. She died the day after meeting John.

4. i have severe allergies and asthma which 99% of the time are under control with the help of medications.

5. i regret having given up my gymnastics, skating, and my music. But i don't regret quitting the swim team to help care for my grandmother.

6. i lost my grandmother, my grandfather and my mother all between 1980 and 1989. And all to some form of cancer.

7. i lost my god mother and god father both to massive strokes.

8. i watch myself very carefully for "oddities" and other signs of cancer.

9. i was left in labour too long with Michelle, from 3PM on the Friday afternoon. She wasn't born until 6:59 PM on the Sunday of that weekend. The prolonged labour did damage to my uterus so that when my periods started up again they were very heavy, and over a year they would last longer each month. i had an endometrieal eblation done because my periods started lasting more than 3 weeks.

10. i have a great half/step family where i am they youngest of 8 kids and the only girl. Can you say spoiled?

11. i hate that my family is all so far away.

12. i have had a total of 8 miscarriages including loosing 2 babies during my pregancy with Marjorie.

13. i have 2 beautiful little girls that aren't so little anymore. But will always be the babies i held in my arms.

14. i love science fictions movies and television shows.

15. i loved as a little girl "dancing" with my gramps to the Lawrance Welk show. i remember standing on his feet while he danced.

16. i placed 2nd in Canada skating, the year before i quit to concentrate more on my gymnastics.

17. i raced modified stock cars for 3 years. my very first race i came in 4th place.

18. i was always a tomboy growing up. Either following my brothers around when i was there or hanging out with the neighbourhood boys riding bikes and playing cars.

19. i stayed a tomboy through high school taking auto shop and majoring in machine shop. i graduated second in the machine shop class but i feel that over all i graduated head of the class because although the guy that had higher marks in shop he didn't make the honour roll but i did. again i was the only girl.

20. i was raised very strict Roman Catholic. But i rarely attend church now as an adult. i would like to get back to going to church, get closer to God again but i doubt it will be in the catholic faith.

21. i loved having my home daycare because it allowed me to be home with my girls for so long. i miss most of the kids i cared for over the 10 years i had my daycare.

22. i hate bugs, and am terrified of spiders. i am allergic to bee stings

23. i really enjoy a well done garden and would love to have one, but i have a black thumb when it comes to plants.

24. i love the rain. i remember playing in it as a child until the thunder and lightning would start. Then we would have to "come in". We would then sit on the porch and watch the storm.

25, As much as i like to watch storms, if one happens at night and wakes me up i am terrified. That goes back to the TV antenna that was out side my bedroom window as a child getting hit with lightning.

26. i am pretty sure that i have always been a submissive. i was always the one that wanted to make everyone i cared about happy. my earliest sexual fantasies were of being "forced" to do things. Being tied up, controlled.

27. i am now an owned/collared slave. i am slave to Fyre only. i have never felt more whole, more myself, more complete or sense of belonging in my life than i have since becoming His.

28. i love the anticipation each time Master introduces something new. Be it a new toy, new rules, new type of play. i wish the thrill i feel when i am able to please Him as He expands my limits would last longer.

29. my favourite colours are in the purple and blue tones. Not just in bruises, although those colours are really nice too.

30. i played the violin for 5 years. i gave it up when i started high school cause it wasn't cool.

31. i was in a school choir from grade 5 to grade 8. The choir won many competitions. We even sang for Queen Elizabeth.

32. i met Master in late September of 2001. He gave me the name jewel` in late October of 2001. He placed His full collar on my neck December 15th 2001.

33. i have 3 body piercings. Both my nipples and my hood. i had my nipples done on the spur of the moment in October of 2000. Master had my hood pierced in February of 2002. i love my piercings and as much as when Master first hinted at more i was really nervous, i would love any He wished to do now.

34, When i got pregnant with Marjorie i weighed over 250 pounds. i lost most of that weight while i was pregnant. i have stayed at the same weight pretty much since Chelle was born. Master is now helping me to loose some more weight by my watching my eating habits and starting an exercise plan.

35. i have an odd sense of humour and when i am nervous or unsure i can get the giggles.

36. i love looking at home plans. i have always wanted to design my own house.

37. i love reading. i like historical fiction, some romance novels, mysteries.

38. i am currently reading some books on the BDSM lifestyle that a friend loaned to me. i am finding them very informative and interesting.

39. my hair was once so long it hung to the back of my knees. It has also been so short it was nearly a brush cut. Right now my hair is just below my shoulders. Master wants it to be at least waist length. Luckily it is growing fairly quickly.

40. i really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes but i hate cooking to have my family turn their noses up at things claiming i am poisoning them.

41. i find it hard to take a compliment. Not that i don't like receiving them, just that i have a hard time seeing myself the way others see me.

42. i enjoy helping out when i am able too. Be it a friend moving or needing a sitter for the evening or helping someone new to the BDSM group here with information and a welcome.

43. i can be a smartass at times. Usually in a very loving teasing way. i think i learned some of that from Master.

44. i love animals. at present we have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The cats are getting older though at 15. The dogs look a lot like the ones that played Benji and Tiffany in the Benji movies. They are only 4. The cats are litter mates as are the dogs.

45. i went to my first monthly munch in November of 2001. i haven't missed one in my town since that time.

46. i went to my first play party in February of 2002. i goofed at it by shouting out an answer to a question being asked in a scene. Master covered my mouth very quickly. Nearly 3 years later i consider the woman in that scene a good friend and someone i am able to talk to about so many things.

47. i like all the seasons, but spring is my favourite. All the renewal, the fresh air, green leaves. It is warm enough to get outside and enjoy but not so hot one has to have the windows closed and the air conditioners on. i love swimming in the summer though. i enjoy the colours of autumn, and the fresh snow in winter.

48. i love amusement parks. i love going on the roller coasters.

49. i like playing around on and with computers. figuring out how they work. i have crashed my share of them too.

50. i like so many different types of music to listen to. Master has introduced me to even more music.

51. i loved school. If i could afford it i would go back to school now to study architecture and interior design. i would love to design full access homes. To design a house where no matter who was living in it, it would be safe and convenient.

52. i love to make those i love smile. Seeing the smile go to their eyes and knowing that i am the one that did it.

53, As a child i bit my fingernails so badly that i basically had no nails and my fingers would bleed. i quit biting them when i was 15. Now my finger nails are one of my vanities. Until i went back to work i polished my nails regularly. Master is the one that says that my finger and toenails have to match in colour.

54, When my mother died one of the things i bought with the money she left me was a 21 foot trailer. For the first few of years John and i would travel with it a lot. We have it parked seasonally now and i love going out to it. It is so nice out there.

55. i love the sound of water. A babbling brook, a creek, water fountain. i want to have a water fountain garden at my trailer when i can get the time to get one in.

56. i am a very sensitive person. i cry at sad movies, cry when i am happy.

57. i am an emotional person and sometimes my emotions can get away from me. i have to try very hard to keep them under control.

58. i am a very social person. i enjoy having people over to my house for an evening, or going out with friends for dinner or "drinks".

59. i am told that i have very expressive eyes.

60. my eyes are hazel for the most part but do change colour depending upon my moods.

61. i am a flirt.

62. i love shopping even when i am not going to buy anything. i like to look for things for gifts when i shop.

63. i am one of those people that starts Christmas shopping for the next year shortly after Christmas of this year. Be it for decorations, wrappings or gifts.

64. i like to go to open houses to get decorating ideas for my own place.

65, As much as i love having and taking pictures of my girls, friends and family i don’t really like having my picture taken, i don’t think that i photograph well at all.

66. i really enjoy going to concerts.

67. i’m not the best of them but i enjoy dancing. i would love to learn to dance like exotic dancers.

68. i love the theatre. i like going to musicals, dramas, comedies. i can hardly stop laughing at an improv show.

69. i love to laugh, Master makes me laugh a lot. He has such a great sense of humour and a very quick wit. i have to really be on my toes when around Him.

70. They may have only been school based productions but i loved helping with the large productions that my girls and one dog have been in. Making costumes, helping with make up, rehearsals, selling tickets, working on the sets, helping back stage.

71. i like to sew. i have sewn halloween costumes, costumes for the shows, some fet outfits for myself, the renaissance outfits that my girls and i wear to the festivals.

72. i love going to the renaissance festivals.

73. i like riding my bike when i have no particular place to go, just riding around.

74. i love going for walks along nature trails. Seeing the wild flowers, small critters, hearing the sounds of the leaves in the breeze.

75. i like going for "Sunday" drives. No real destination, just taking a drive in the country.

76. i love looking through small stores. The kind you find in the out of the way places. The ones that carry the really unique items. i find some of my best presents for people in those places.

77. i love going on picnics. Taking a lunch, blanket, relaxing in the shade on a nice sunny day.

78. i like going to the drive in because you get at least 2 movies for the price of one, plus you can take in your own food, lawn chairs, make a real party out of it.

79. i hate the taste of beer. I think it is because my mother worked at a brewery for 25 years while i was growing up and the smell when they were in production was gross.

80. i rarely drink anything alcoholic now. When i was young a group of us used to go out bar hopping on a Friday or Saturday night.

81. i scared myself once by getting so drunk that i didn’t remember the night. It happened while i was house sitting for my mom one weekend.

82. In all the times that i have been drinking i have never had a hang over.

83. i suffer from migraine head aches. Sometimes they are brought on by stress, other times they hit me out of the blue and i haven’t any idea why i am having one.

84. i have worn glasses since i was 9 years old. i am now classed as legally blind with out my glasses on. I can’t even see the "E" on the eye chart anymore.

85. As much as i like the challenges that Master gives me, this assignment has me really having to think hard.

86. Sometimes i have a hard time expressing myself. Getting the right words out to make my point understood.

87. There are times that i will hide my feelings, especially if i am feeling scared or insecure. i try to put on a "brave" front, to be strong. But i am not always as strong as i would like others to think i am.

88. i like playing cards. I used to play Euchre, Cribbage, Black Jack, 31, and Crazy 8’s all the time.

89. In high school grade 10 geography to be precise i spent most of the term playing crazy 8s in class. The teacher had no problem with us doing it as long as we didn’t disrupt the class, we had the work done, and were able to keep out grades above 80%.

90. i enjoy having quiet time to myself. Be reading while soaking in a hot bath, relaxing listening to music, or just doing nothing.

91. i enjoy playing a variety of different games of solitaire both with playing cards and on the computer.

92. i have always wanted a tattoo, just could never really decide on what i wanted or where i wanted it. i would still like one. Master and i have talked about one, but no tattoo yet. i am still hoping though.

93. i have a large bust line. From the time i finished developing i have worn a DD cup. No matter what my weight did my cup size has never changed. Even when i was pregnant and nursing the only change in my breasts was they were firmer. The only time i was ever able to go with out a bra was while i was pregnant, otherwise my boobs have always sagged.

94. i had thought one time about having a breast reduction done. I haven’t thought about it in a very long time. Besides i don’t think that Master would allow it now.

95. i remember as a child my cousins and i playing games outside in our pyjamas at my grandparent’s house. We would get ready for bed, have our bedtime snack out on the front porch then our grandfather would play games like "Red Light, Green Light" or "Mother may I" and "What Time is it Mr Wolf" with us before we went into bed.

96. i have found through Master that so many things are not as bad as i thought they were. He has taught me that Indian Curry and African food taste delicious among some other things that He has fed me

97. i have found that as much as i said after leaving A&W in 1988 that i would never go back into food services for a job, that i am enjoying being back in it since going back to work a year and a half ago.

98, my favourite childhood treat would have to have been the root beer floats my grandmother would make me.

99. i love having my hair done. Having it brushed, played with, even pulled at the right time.

100. i love that Master is able to read me so well. That He always seems to know my moods, what i need at any given time.

101. i like that Master lets me be me. That He is helping me to learn so much about myself. Even if i am not liking some of the things i am learning about myself, i love that i am a better person over all because of all the growing i have done over the past couple of years.
