I. The Creation

Let there be light...

II. Of Beasts and Men

Of beasts and men, we rise from dust and wilderness into
The open plain, to hunt the herds and feast upon the land
And hunt we must, to live, to prosper and to one day rule
Our destiny, we are the cornerstone of empires to come

We are the ancestors of kingdoms soon to rise
Humanity shall spread its glory far and wide
So come and journey through the past
And join us as we dance
To the music of the tribes

Unite the tribes, raise your stones and spears to fight the war
For life and death, against the minions of the jungle lands
We must be strong, we shall record our quests upon the walls
In blood and stone, the caves shall tell our tales to ages unknown

Bury the dead, our heroes ride upon the spirit hawk
Into the night, fire master spread the blaze and pray
To tame the land, humanity is favored by the gods
But forget not, forever we are born of beasts and men

III. Cryptic Sands

Wrapped, embalmed and mummified I lay upon my bed
I toss and turn within my tomb as blood and tears are shed
I was ruler wise and true but cursed by evil seed
My descendants rule the land with pestilence and greed
Centuries have passed, the days of happiness are gone
Gods, I beg, awaken me so I may right this wrong
Love and rage have fueled my bones, I gaze with hollowed eyes
I shall rule the empire and become immortalized

Long dead, once king of the world you see
Pharoah, first lord of the dynasty
Ancient, lost within the sands of time
Entombed, from the land that once was mine
Spirit of the God of Death, I rest unredeemed
Count me among the resurrected, god-like and undreamed

Osiris, Keeper of the Living Dead
Osiris, Beckon me to rise again

Crying, of my children of the Nile
My throne, my descendants have defiled
My land, cursed with slavery and greed
O gods, I must do this final deed
Avenger Horus, healer Isis, Ra of golden sun
Heal me, jackal-head Anubis, I'm the chosen one

Children, land of Egypt follow me
Fear not, I shall revive history
Tyrants, I shall slay you where you stand
I am spirit of the Cryptic Sands
Weigh their souls upon the scales as read in ancient stone
All shall answer for their sins when facing Osiris' throne

Osiris, Keeper of the Living Dead
Osiris, I shall never die again

IV. Olympus in Ruins

Philosophy and education governing the land
Intellectuals of all nations joining hand in hand
Knowledge, arts and architecture grow like grapes on vines
As we dominate the world with sharpened swords and minds
Artists forging gods and heroes for our eyes to see
Man has become his own master through democracy
The polis illuminates the sky from town to town
Reason has surpassed the gods, no one can stop us now

We are the only ones, immortal through our open eyes
We are the chosen ones, Olympus has met its demise

Ares, Hera, Zeus, Athena, gods of heroes past
Rest your charms my Aphrodite, we have escaped your grasp
We praise our new independence honoring the wise
As the gods look down on us from Mount Olympus' skies

I am Zeus, the God of Thunder, rage is all I feel
As mankind has made themselves the gods to which they kneel
Praising themselves for the minds that I have given them
Son of Cronus, King of Titans, Fear me! I am him

I am the only one, who shall hear your final cries
I am the chosen one, Olympus in ruins shall rise

V. Thunder Upon the Seas

We who raise our hammers high are legions of the dark
Monsters fall and kingdoms bow to the warriors of the northern skies
Sagas of the wisemen tell of heroes in our blood
Noble-born of mountain's ice as the conquerors of the open seas

Set your sails upon the water, ride the wind anew
I shall lead you into glory standing triumphant and true
I shall die and find Valhalla, guide me Valkyries
Fight men! Forever are we... Thunder Upon the Seas

Beasts defy me, men obey, gods command my steel
Viking soldiers, follow me to the mountainous kingdom of the dead
We shall die as heroes die, strong and clenching swords
Fallen heroes standing strong, as victorious as in life of flesh
