Who is BDS?

BDS, or The Beat Down Squad, is a supergroup of heroes on the MMORPG City of Heroes. Based on the Triumph Server, BDS is made up of level 20+ heroes with a common bond and goal, that being to work as a team, enjoy one another's company, and generally have a lot of fun kicking butts and taking names. We have a junior squad for new members and lower-level alts of our main toons, known as "TDS", the Take-Down Squad. In addition, BDS is coalitioned (allied) with a number of other supergroups on the server, including Soviet Super Heroes (SSH) and Dark Shadows. We even have villain groups for the new City of Villains game, including a role-playing group known as the Buccaneers of Bloody Bay. As a group, we've been known to get into some PvP battles, but not extensively or rabidly.

If you click on the first picture, above, it will take you to our message boards, where you can find public forums regarding more about who we are, as well as a place to post if you're interested in joining us. We do have what's considered to be a "strict" guideline for membership, at least in the opinions of a number of other supergroups... we request that you post, and that we run a mission or two with you first! Yes, that's really all it is. Seems crazy, but we like to be sure that who and what you are is going to be a fit with us, because we're like a family. We laugh, love, cry, play, and celebrate together, and we never want it to turn into Thanksgiving at Grandma's where Cousin Bob can't stand to be around Uncle Pete. *Big laugh*
