As ShowDown! comes on the air, SD! announcers, Gordon Solie & Bob Caudle welcome us to this week's show, as they begin to run down the card for tonight's broadcast. The Four Horsemen will make their return to action as they continue their feud against DeGeneration X. Plus, we'll hear from Hollywood Hogan and his New World Order, and finally, the Hart Foundation will take on members of the Heenan Family, in the main event. Let's get down to the action.
Trish Stratus defeated Victoria with The Stratusfaction. After the match, members of Divalution hit the ring and laid a beatdown on Victoria, until Lita, Nidia, & Stacy came down and made the save.
Backstage, Gene Okerlund is standing by to interview the Four Horsemen, concerning their matches with members of DX. Ric Flair says the reason why they were absent from WAR last monday night is because they were doing their usual, and that's partying out in Las Vegas with all the fast women. But tonight, they are back to take care of Horsemen Business, and DX will feel the wrath of the Four Horsemen, tonight.
The Dudley Boyz defeated Power & Glory (w/Slick) with the 3D.
We go to the NWO black & white studio, where Hogan & his cohorts begin hyping up Hollywood's big FWW World Title rematch against Bret "The Hitman" Hart at the next FWW pay per view, Heatwave. Hogan promises that will become the next World Heavyweight Champion at Heatwave on August 27th.
Raven defeated Mr. Wonderful with the Evenflow DDT. Barbarian & Haku hit the ring and attacked Raven, until Raven's Nest made the save.
The Undertaker defeated The Giant by DQ, when The Dungeon of Doom hit the ring, and attacked The Deadman when Taker had Giant in deep trouble. The Ministry hit the ring, and a big prison riot erupted between the two factions.
Backstage, Sean Mooney interviewed the Hart Brothers, Bret & Owen about their tag match in the main event, tonight. The Hart Foundation said that they are ready for the Heenan Family.
The Horsemen defeated DX when Chris Benoit made Mr. Ass tap out to the Crippler Crossface. This will definately get Brian Pillman & Chris Benoit a title rematch against The Outlaws, very soon.
Arn Anderson defeated Triple H with the Double A Spinebuster.
Bret & Owen Hart defeated Rick Rude & Mr. Perfect when Owen pinned Rude with a Bob Backlund Bridge. After the match, Bret Hart got on the mic, and told Hogan that at Heatwave, he plans to settle their issues, once and for all.
