WHERE
Lake Lyell Recreation Area - about 7 kms from Lithgow.
About 3.1 kms from Lithgow MacDonadlas on the Great Western Hwy heading towards Sydney turn right at the Donny Brook Hotel (left side of the road) and the Shell Service station (on the right) follow signs to Lake Lyel.
From Katoomba on the Great Western Hwy take the same turn about 7.2 km from the Hampton/Oberon turn off.
