COMMENTS - 2001 schedule as example
On Friday, we take a leisurely ride over the mountains from Brisbane to
Warwick. You have three options:
(1) depart from Brisbane,
(2) meet us at Warwick for the evening
OR
(3) join the ride at Goondiwindi on Saturday morning.
On Saturday, we party at the annual Easter Flinton Races (established in
1912). Entry is by invitation only and includes lunch and some drinks.
Five races, Sky Channel and a fashion parade during the day. Live band at
night. Food and drinks available all day and night. Camping amenities
available at nearby Westmar.
On Sunday, we visit a unique private military collection before heading to
Miles for a visit to the renowned Historical Village. We will stay at the
unusual Possum Park and enjoy a home cooked meal that night and breakfast
the next morning.
On Monday, we head back to Brisbane. Either travel with the group or choose
your own route home. About 1000 kms in total and a great time guaranteed.
BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.
All bookings receive a Cane Toad badge. Accomodation and meal options are
fully listed on the registration form. All camping fees, some admission
fees and some meals are payable in advance.
All bikes welcome. Families welcome. Awards and trophies. No attitudes.
