Hall of Fame: Dagon, you've been a vet of FWA, how do you feel about all of the changes? For example the Hall of Fame, the News and Rumors?
Dagon: The FWA has, since its' beginning, beena notable federation. The HOF, the columns...all fot he add-ons, they help to publicize the FWA. The morale that it gives to the wrestlers themselves, is also quite evident.
HOF: Some of us know and some do not, that you are indeed, the man behind the new columns section. Where do you plan to go with it, and what made you decide to take over?
Dagon: When Bryan Garvin reluctantly left his position, many of the wrestlers were upset by the turn of events. Being a fan of the FWA, and a long time participant, I felt that I should help. In these columns, I hope to give everyone a piece of air time...to let everyone know what everyone else is about. Perhaps I can stir the fire a bit also, and create some new feuds.
HOF: That's cool. Maybe we can shed some light to some of the new guys. Let's talk about the timeless persona of Dagon, what the character meant to you, and what he was all about.
Dagon: Dagon was the dark character to many, but to me, he was whatever he had to be. If it called for him to be the face against certain characters, he was. If he needed to be heel, he would go the extra mile to make sure that he was. In the end, I like to think that I was one of the most hated wrestlers ever...it is, in a way, what I pride myself on having been.
HOF: A true heel, you were. Speaking of heels, the HOF is creating a worthy mentions page in which people can vote for "greatest heel", charcter angle, best face, best match. It would be perfect for a vet like you to give your opinion on who was the best and worst. Anybody you'd like to mention, old or new?
Dagon: For the heels, Oliver Twisted in my opinion is by far the greatest, while the worst would be Chaos. For angle, I believe the best angle is currently being run in the federation between Nightmare and the rest of the federation. Face character, the worst was Red Rock, while the best would be Kid Punk, of course, once again, in my opinion. Finally, I have to say in all honesty that the best match was the Three Levels of Hell match between myself and Jonny Platinum.
HOF: I believe he said the same. What happend in that match?
Dagon: The match was set with a cage of electricity on the bottom, a second level of fire, and a third of razor wire. Eventually, we went all the way outside of the cage, where Platinum nearly ended my career after the match, kicking me down onto the guard rail from approxiamtely 35 feet up.
HOF: Ouch, that is hardcore. Although there have been significant improvements in the FWA, how do you feel about the missing hardcore action and division?
Dagon: I think that when the FWA doesn't have one, it would appear bery nice to actually have one. However, I also feel that should it be created, involvement would be minimal by those who say the FWA needs it.
Dagon: I believe the US Title needs to be lifted a bit more before a new title is added.
HOF: I see. Do you think Thomas Draven can do that, or is it an outside issue?
Dagon: Draven has the ability, but to be honest, I see the newcomer, Kiddzi, being the one to truly spark that part of the federation.
HOF: Here is a question that has passed through my mind, an issue about the IC championship being held by Kid Punk, and Taylor Dawkins. Do you think it's proper for two people to hold the belt? If no, should they fight each other for it?
Dagon: I believe it is a total crock. Friend, enemies...whatever you are...you should fight to see who actually has the title. If, oh say, I had the IC title, and then left, thereby relinquishing my hold on it, you wouldn't see Kid Punk be so quick to hand me a part of it. What it boils down to is that Kid Punk just needed to ive Dawkins the spotlight when he returned, and the best way to do it, was to start this controversy about the IC Title.
HOF: Sorry, I had to talk to my land lord, o.k. In the poll, a few people have voted for your return, how do you feel about that?
Dagon: Dagon is retired, flat out. The return can not, and will not happen. I help behind the scenes enough, and that is good enough for me. However, it is rather flattering that they would want me back...but then again, they may just want me back so they can get a hold of me one last time. Like I said, I pride myself on having been hated.
HOF: Could be. O.k. now to the main topic. How would the "Dark One" feel to be the first offical Hall of Famer?
Dagon: It is truely an honor to have been nominated in the first place, but to be the first? It is simply overwhelming. I will be the first of the greatest ever to be in there, and that is nothing to thumb my nose at. Should it happen, I will be extremely grateful.
HOF: If you were to choose a few of the greats that would be a topic for the future, who would they be?
Dagon: Twisted, of course, Mr. Vegas, Jakob Wilder, Platinum, Dawkins, Punk, Tyler, Nightfall, and the list goes on and on
HOF: FWA is the true elite fed. One last question. Out of the new guys in the fed, who do you find a prospect for greatness, and what advice would you give?
Dagon: Chris Reid is the new hot prospect, as one will see in an upcoming column about him, he is definitly a star in the making. As far as advice goes...he needs o keep everyones attention, and remember that allies are good to have, but in the end, what will make you is the enemies that you keep.
HOF: True. Any thing you would like to comment on? Anything?
Dagon: To all of the vets, get ready...the newcomers are about to take over. The flow of them has increased so much, and their talent is so great, that they threaten everyone in the fed, and the very stability of the FWA.
