******* A1) SWEDEN SET TO CRIMINALIZE OPPOSITION TO HOMOSEXUALITY
******* from Focus on the Family www.family.org
******* The Swedish Parliament has just passed a constitutional amendment that will criminalize criticism of homosexuality. The measure passed by 56% of the vote. It must be voted on again after elections this September.
******* According to Annalie Enochson, a Christian member of Parliament, this amendment is a serious threat to religious freedom and speech. "This means people coming from (the homosexual) lobby group could sit in our churches having on the tape recorder and listen to somebody and say, 'what you're saying is now against our constitution.'" Enochson says that if the amendment is passed, a person convicted of violating this amendment could spend six months to four years in jail.
******* This amendment is the ultimate goal of homosexual activist groups around the world. They are using "hate crime" laws and "anti-discrimination" codes in the United States to criminalize verbal opposition to homosexuality. TVC has long predicted that this is where the homosexual agenda is headed. If we do not aggressively fight against hate crime laws and anti-free speech codes, the day will come when a pastor's sermon against homosexuality will be a felony offense--punishable by fines and prison.
******* What is happening in Sweden is just a glimpse into what's going to happen here in the United States. Freedom of religion and speech are in jeopardy. We cannot allow homosexual activists to gain federally-protected status as a minority group. They will use "hate crime" laws to silence all opposition to their agenda.

******* Although AIDS receives a disproportionately large share of government funding compared to other serious diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer's and heart disease, homosexual activists continue to clamor for even more federal spending.
******* While speaking at the AIDS conference in Barcelona, U.S. Secretary of
Health Tommy Thompson was booed off the stage by AIDS activists carrying signs saying "Money for AIDS, Not for War" and "Wanted: Bush and Thompson for Murder and Neglect of people with AIDS."

******* WAS JESUS 'GAY?' http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=28290
******* Stephen's Commentary addresses the 'gay' theology of one of the fastest
growing churches in America and around the world - The Metropolitan
Community Church - a worldwide network of 'Christian' churches catering
to the 'gay, lesbian and transgendered communities.'
-------------------------------------------------------------------
By Stephen Bennett
******* C 2002 WorldNetDaily.com
******* One of the fastest growing churches among homosexuals in America and
around the world is the Metropolitan Community Church - a "Christian"
church specifically for "gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered
communities." The MCC was originally started by openly homosexual
ex-Baptist minister, Troy Perry, who after the discovery and disclosure
of his homosexuality, losing his license as a minister, a divorce and
estrangement from his wife and children, as well as a failed suicide
attempt, "rediscovered" his rainbow-colored vocation and ministry.
******* From his Los Angeles living room in 1968, Perry and his initial 12 members began their "gay church." According to their website, in 2003, the MCC will embody over 77,000 members, spanning more than 17 countries around the globe. Tens of thousands of so-called faithful "Christian" homosexual men and women flock weekly to MCC-affiliated churches worldwide to be "reaffirmed" with the message that God loves them and "gay is OK."
******* The Rev. Troy Perry, highly regarded in gay circles, has been an invited
guest to the White House on four separate occasions from 1977 to 1997 - three alone by former President Bill Clinton. In 1997, Clinton "celebrated" Perry as an "honoree" at a White House breakfast recognizing 100 national "spiritual leaders" in America.
******* I don't know where this new "open and affirming" world would be today
without this modern-day homosexual prophet and "gay"-savvy biblical interpreter. According to Perry and the MCC's official website, for over 2,000 years, Christians including myself, have been interpreting the Bible wrong. Maybe you have, too. Did you know:
******* The Bible is full of errors, from being copied, recopied and translated
over and over again?
******* - That homosexuality is not a sin in God's eyes - but a twisted teaching
of homophobic, misguided infallible men?
******* - That all "so-called" references to homosexuality in the Bible
actually refer to other terms - not homosexuality at all?
******* - That Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed because of homosexuality
... but because the people didn't feed the poor and needy?
******* - That Jonathan and David are the most famous gay lovers in the Bible -
a biblical story of hot, passionate gay romance, kissing, jealousy and sex?
******* - That Ruth and Naomi (daughter-in-law and mother-in-law) may be the most famous, committed lesbians in the Bible - (Naomi being a possible pederast)?
******* - That there are undeniably numerous other possible gays and lesbians
throughout the Bible who have been "kept in the closet" by homophobic Christians throughout the centuries?
******* - That Jesus Christ, "God Himself in the flesh," "lived an alternative
lifestyle" and the apostle John "the disciple whom Jesus loved" literally could have been his gay male lover and, according to eight other biblical references, Jesus possibly "loved" many other men as well?
******* - And, finally, that Jesus Christ wore a robe of purple to the cross (a
gay adopted color), a possible gay and lesbian connotation - right to His death?
******* In the immoral days in which we live, homosexual men and women are grasping for every possible straw to get acceptance for their destructive, aberrant lifestyle. The secret gay agenda has infiltrated the media, Hollywood, the public schools, the government and, yes, now even religion. How sad to say homosexuals have gone as far as to try and hijack and pervert biblical Christianity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ - all in the name of "gay sex." And America, we've let it happen.
******* As a man who once lived as a homosexual, my heart continually breaks
for those lost in the web of the "gay" deception - a life of sadness,
loneliness, pain and even death. Yet a godly anger within me burns even more for those who have the gall and nerve to try and make my Lord and Saviour, the One who rescued me from the tentacles and grips of the homosexual lifestyle, into the "God of Gay."
******* It may be a "rainbow day" for these misguided men and women now ... in
biblical terms, "the pleasures of sin for a season." I highly doubt that it will be as colorful a day when they hear the words from the God whom they thought was so "open and affirming": "Get away from Me, ye that work iniquity ... I never knew you."
******* May they be miraculously reached with the truth in love, before it's
too late.

******* A4)CANADIAN HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVIST JUDGES
******* from The London Free Press
******* Sunday, June 29, 2003
******* By Rory Leishman
******* In an address to The Canadian Club of Toronto last week, Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin decried: "the standard stock of some editorial pages that judges have ventured outside their proper territory and waded deep into political waters." She maintained that, "Contrary to popular myth judges do not pluck meanings from the air according to their political stripe."
******* McLachlin is mistaken. There is no such, "popular myth." Few critics have ever suggested that she and her Supreme Court of Canada colleagues are governed by a misplaced loyalty to the Liberals, the New Democrats or any other political party.
******* What alarms and dismays everyone who still understands the meaning of freedom under law is that judges like her have become a law unto themselves: Under the pretence of upholding the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, they have taken to imposing their personal ideological convictions on the country, by arbitrarily striking down some laws and amending others without regard either for judicial precedents or the express preferences of elected representatives in Parliament and the provincial legislatures.
*******
McLachlin denies such transgressions. "Unlike politicians, judges do not have agendas," she avowed in her Toronto speech. "They take the laws and the cases as they find them, and apply their interpretative skills to them as the constitution requires."
*******
The gall of that statement is hard to credit, coming just one week after the Ontario Court of Appeal had flouted both the law and the constitution, by unilaterally enacting gay marriage into law. This week, the Law Society of Upper Canada held its annual, "Pride Week reception and forum" in Toronto. In announcing the event, the society noted: "The reception will include remarks from Chief Justice R. Roy McMurtry, of the Ontario Court of Appeal and one of the three justices who rendered the decision in Halpern et al v. Attorney General of Canada et al (the gay-marriage ruling)."
*******
No doubt McMurtry got a rapturous greeting at that Pride Week reception as did the keynote speaker -- the like-minded and autocratic former Supreme Court of Canada judge Claire L'Heureux-Dube. Yet McLachlin would have us believe that in enacting the ideology of gay rights into law, judges do not have agendas.
*******
McLachlin also claims that the, "notion that Parliamentary democracy resides only in majority rule is both false and dangerous It offers no protection against the tyranny of the majority and it overlooks the need to accommodate and validate minoritarian views essential to long-term democratic stability."
*******
Here we come to the nub of the dispute: McLachlin subscribes to the authoritarian view that unelected judges are better qualified than elected legislators to define the limits of minority rights.
*******
To discover what the Fathers of Confederation would have thought about such judicial arrogance, McLachlin should peruse Canada's Founding Debates, a collection of speeches edited by a team of historians led by Prof. Janet Ajzenstat of McMaster University. Included in this compendium is an address to the Legislative Assembly of Canada on Mar. 9, 1865, by Richard Cartwright, a leading Liberal. To reassure French Canadians, he observed that parliamentary decisions have long been subject to checks of all kinds -- "many of them, more by custom and usage than by positive law" -- so that it has been, "all but impossible for any majority, however strong, to perpetrate any gross act of injustice on a minority, so long as that minority could command but one or two resolute representatives on the floor of parliament."
*******
Cartwright's views on democracy were typical. McLachlin will search in vain through both the Confederation and Charter debates to find any parliamentarian suggesting that it's incumbent upon the courts to protect minorities, by routinely abolishing or amending statutory laws adopted by the majority. She and other judicial activists have taken this role upon themselves.
*******
The gay-marriage ruling is a quintessential example of such judicial hubris: It defies the repeatedly expressed will of Parliament; has no basis in either the 1867 Constitution of Canada or the 1982 Charter; and overthrows centuries of legal precedents. In attempting to defend such judicial excesses, McLachlin has succeeded only in demonstrating her contempt for the historic principles of freedom under law in a parliamentary democracy.

******* A5) CRUSHING A CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR TO SODOMY
******* July 5, 2003
******* Targeted for hate
******* By MICHAEL COREN -- Sun Media
******* I certainly didn't intend to write about the issue of homosexuality and gay activism this week, but events have rather forced my hand. Perhaps now those people who speak and write interminably about the intolerance of those of us who are opposed to gay marriage and the like will think again.
*******
Let me stress that what you are about to read does not represent the majority mindset of the gay community, and it was a gay man who brought it to my attention, with fears for me and my family.
*******
A gay man, by the way, who disagrees with me on gay issues and with whom I have enjoyed an intelligent and mutually respectful debate over the Internet. He received an e-mail, one that had been sent to numerous gay men and women. It reads thus:
*******
"I just LOVE Michael Coren (NOT!) ... Witness his vile spew on the Web: http://www.lifesite.net/coren/ http://www.canoe.ca/Columnists/coren.html .
*******
Witness his vile spew on HIS site: http://www.michaelcoren.com . Contact the source of the vile spewing: By e-mail (please send 10,000 blank emails first) - [email protected] [email protected] .
*******
In person (please ring the doorbell at 3.00 A.M.) or by snail mail (please send a bag of dog s..t with your letter" ... at which point my full home address is given.
*******
"By phone (please phone at 3.00 A.M.)"... at which point my home number is given. And then people are asked to send "10,000 sheets of black or navy paper" to my fax machine. The e-mail concludes: "Have fun, WM. P.S. Does he not look just a TAD like a Nazi skinhead?"
*******
This so-called Nazi skinhead just buried his Jewish father, a man whose family escaped Poland shortly before the Holocaust. But personal abuse is irrelevant. Think on the rest, however. Large numbers of people are being told, in the name of tolerance, to send germ-laden excrement through the mail to a man, his wife and their four young children, one only five years old. No guarantee can ever be made with a five-year-old that she won't open a parcel because, well, because it's a parcel.
*******
Because my mother is suffering from advanced dementia and other ailments, I have to take calls at any time of the night because bad news is always a possibility. So now I may rush to the phone expecting the worst about mum, to discover it's just a crank. My children awakened, my wife's sleep broken.
*******
There is also the implicit threat of other things happening to my home and property. Do I allow my children to walk to a corner store now? Do I take special precautions, or allow my son to go to school on his own? (Remember, gay activists stormed and defaced a Cathedral in Montreal and threw condoms around.)
*******
It's interesting that I've prefaced almost everything I've said about the gay issue with a call for respect and dignity for everyone concerned. I've condemned anti-gay extremists and even taken some heat for being too conciliatory. Those critics are wrong, though.
*******
A faith-based critique of homosexuality is no longer faith-based when it is any way hateful.
*******
I'm not going to pretend this e-mail was unique.
*******
In details, yes, but not in tone. But I take comfort in the number of gay people whom I know and with whom I work. They might argue with me, but they do not hate. And they know the same of me. But the haters within that community are more than a handful.
*******
Look, I'm one of the least favourite people of, for example, Canadian Holocaust deniers, but even they don't give out my address and phone number and ask their people to send me dog waste and to harass me and my family.
*******
I would expect a member of the gay community to inform me of the identity of this person so he can be dealt with by the authorities. I would certainly expect a mass condemnation of the action. In the name of law, morality and of good old tolerance.
*******
By the way, I shall not hate in response and I shall certainly forgive. Indeed, if this person were to offer an apology I would accept it. The same faith that tells me to stand firm for certain virtues also tells me to oppose hatred with the contrary.

******* A6)A STRIKING ILLUSTRATION OF WHY BILL C-250 MUST BE DEFEATED
******* Two activists are taking the Surrey School Board to the BC Human Rights Tribunal for allowing certain comments from those opposing the inclusion of pro-homosexuality books as approved teaching materials in the schools of the district. The Surrey School Board, you may remember, held forums in June at which the vast majority of speakers opposed the books. Now the complainants, according to The Surrey Leader, charge that the district "discriminated against them, as lesbians who attended the meetings, by creating a process which resulted in a 'poisonous' environment." "In order for people like myself, who were in support of the books, to present our point of view," said . . . [one of the complainants], "we had to sit through comments that were being made that were very offensive and demeaning to people that were gay, lesbian, bisexual." It is now revealed that the complainants had hoped to stop one of the meetings from being held. When the June 10th meeting was held it was noticed that different guidelines were laid down by the chairperson. She, as The Leader puts it, "made a firm statement that general feelings on homosexuality would not be considered in the board's decision on the books." It seemed to some that a chill on discussion had set in, as, after all, the public's feelings about homosexuality have a lot to do with the inclusion or exclusion of pro-homosexuality books.
******* Commenting on the actions of the complainants, Surrey School Board Chairperson Mary Polak said, according to The Leader: "The potential for this to limit the ability of members of the public to speak to their elected representatives is really quite astounding."
******* Chairperson Polak's comment is very much to the point. If governmental bodies cannot allow citizens to express themselves freely, within the traditional boundaries excluding libel and slander, how is democracy to function? If references to the views of parents and others on the moral issues associated with homosexuality and references to the medical dangers of homosexual behaviour, based on research, are to be considered out-of bounds, then only the pro-homosexuality activists will have real freedom to contribute to a very important discussion. That discussion is over the appropriateness of governmental bodies putting the stamp of approval on homosexual behaviour, whether that stamp comes through the approval of pro-homosexuality teaching resources, or by the recognition of same-sex unions as "marriages."
******* Freedom of speech and of religion are already under threat: Remember the printer who had to pay a fine for refusing to print for a homosexual organization, and the Roman Catholic school that was forced to allow a self-proclaimed homosexual student to bring his boy friend to the school prom, and--of course--Chris Kempling, who is still under the threat of punishment for speaking out against aspects of the pro-homosexuality program of the BC Teachers' Federation.
******* If those freedoms are under threat already, how much greater will that threat be if Bill C-250 becomes law! We urge you to stand against this bill. Please phone your MP if you have not already done so, and e-mail other MPs. (See the BCPTL website for the link to an external web page enabling you you to e-mail any single MP or all the MPs at once.)

******* Gay rights campaigners clashed with Catholic clergy and churchgoers as they protested at a Palm Sunday procession.
******* Six campaigners from pressure group OutRage! picketed the main doors of London's Westminster Cathedral in protest at the Vatican's stance on homosexuality.
******* At one point prominent campaigner Peter Tatchell was held back by a member of the clergy, and some members of the congregation were said to have been in tears at the scenes.
******* Police attended, but only arrived after the incident had ended.
******* Mr Tatchell had remonstrated with the Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, as he passed through into the cathedral, telling him his Church supported paedophile priests while persecuting gays in loving relationships.

******* From: "Robert A Jason"

******* CALGARY POLICE TO LAY CHARGES
******* HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION COMPLAINT TO BE FILED
******* (Calgary) The Concerned Christian Coalition Inc., (CCC) held it's national convention in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, April 17, 2004. At the national convention dinner the Gay Militia stormed the meeting with sticks, angry chants and verbally assaulted the delegates at hand.
******* "I was dumbfounded at the fact that the Gay Militia would storm into a private meeting where we were praying and discussing Bill C-250 a bill that will affect our freedom as Christians to discuss certain beliefs. Just as our guest speaker Rev. Tristan Emmanuel was discussing how Bill C-250 is about silencing our freedom of speech and freedom of assembly the Gay Militia stormed the meeting and proved the point," stated Jim Blake, CCC Business Chair.
******* The CCC feels that all groups have a right to freedom of speech, freedom of religion and the freedom to assemble and protect their deeply held personal and moral beliefs.
******* "We are very concerned about the Christophobia and the growing hatred towards Christians in Canada. We are also very concerned that the media continually ignores the blatantly bigoted actions of the militant minority in this country. Can you imagine if our organization stormed a Homosexual gathering? It would be on the front page of every paper in the country and the headlines would not be flattering towards us," continued Blake.
******* The Calgary City Police arrived at the event just moments after the Gay Militia was cleared out by hotel security. The Calgary Police Service seized all the videotapes but one and some video footage has been placed on the internet at http://www.justicenetworkcanada.com/justicenetworkcanada.com.rmvb and on the CCC website of www.concernedchristians.ca The Calgary Police Service has assured the CCC that charges will be laid against members of the Gay Militia when they are found.
******* The CCC has cited 3 sections of the Criminal Code that have been breached by the Gay Miltia. Those sections are as follows:
******* 175-1 A i Causing A Disturbance - every person who not being in a dwelling house causes a disturbance in or near a public place by fighting, screaming, shouting, swearing, singing or using insulting or obscene language.
******* 176 2 Disturbing a Religious Worship - everyone who willfullly disturbs or interrupts and assemblage of persons met for religious worship or for a moral, social or benevolent puropose is gulity of an offence punishable on summary conviction.
******* 265 1 B Assault - A person committs an assault when he attempts or threatens by an act or a gesture to apply force to another person if he has or causes that other person to believe on reasonable grounds that he has present ability to affect his purpose.
******* "We will insure arrests are made. We will insure a complaint against all that showed is filed with the Alberta Human Rights Commission. We will insure to increase our efforts against Christophobia and demand that our rights as Canadians are protected. Enough is enough it is time that the courts, Human Rights Tribunals and the media start defending our freedoms and not just those of the radical left," concluded Blake.

******* SCHOOL'S OUT: WILL THE RAINBOW BUS TAKE OUR KIDS TO THE LAND OF DIVERSITY?
******* By Ed Vitagliano | AFA Journal News Editor
******* Transvestite teachers. Boys kissing boys in restrooms. Teens taught
about anal sex. "Gay" fairy tales for children.
******* Could these things actually become a reality in our public schools? The
speed of change in our society thus far, driven by resolute homosexual
activists, indicates that the answer is most assuredly yes.
******* In case some people think such projections about the future are a hunk
of homophobic hooey, they might want to consider the fact that, in some parts of the country, these things are already happening.
******* So what changes can be expected, and what would life in our public
schools be like if homosexual activists win the culture war? The following
are predictions based on current trends.
******* Entrenchment of gay viewpoint For more than three decades, activists have been demanding that the public school system be enlisted as a primary engine in the effort to normalize homosexuality.
******* In their 1972 Gay Rights Platform, activists meeting in Chicago,
Illinois, demanded "[f]ederal encouragement and support for sex education
courses, prepared and taught by gay women and men, presenting homosexuality as a valid, healthy preference and lifestyle as a viable alternative to heterosexuality."
******** Similarly, in their 1993 March on Washington, D.C., activists demanded
that such radical instruction be taught on "all levels of education" federal, state and local, grades K-12.
******* Support for the homosexual agenda is already solid throughout the
professional education organizations, such as the National Education
Association, American Federation of Teachers, American Association of School
Administrators, and the National Association of School Psychologists.
******* The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has also made it clear
that it supports the normalization of homosexuality within the public
school system. In 1999, for example, National PTA President Ginny Markell
said her organization would be making available the video Thats a
Family!, which embraces same-sex families, as part of a nationwide effort
to fight discrimination against homosexuals.
******* At its 2004 conference in Anaheim, California, the National PTA
partnered with Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), a
pro-homosexual group, to cooperatively present a workshop that
instructed educators about how to promote homosexuality in public schools.
******* Across the nation, outside homosexual pressure groups are constantly
pushing schools to create an environment in which the "gay" lifestyle is
celebrated.
******* Perhaps the most effective of these groups, the Gay, Lesbian and
Straight Education Network (GLSEN), says it has almost 70 chapters throughout
the nation. The group claims on its Web site that, by the end of the
2002-2003 school year, 1,864 student clubs called "Gay-Straight
Alliances" had registered with GLSEN.
******* Other projects, such as the controversial videos Its Elementary and
Thats a Family!, have been instrumental in instructing public school
administrators and faculty how to teach children of all ages about
homosexuality. Its Elementary, for example, has been acquired by nearly two
thousand educational institutions across the country.
******* As sympathy for the homosexual agenda becomes embedded in the nations
public school systems, the changes promise to be dramatic. Linda Harvey
of Mission America, a pro-family group, predicts that: "School
literature will be adapted to reflect a positive view of the homosexual family
as a future option for every child. Josh will learn that he can grow up
and marry a girl or a boy. And since at age six he probably hasnt yet
discovered his sexual identity, the fair thing will be to present all
angles to him in language, health, music and social studies."
******* OPPOSITION WILL BE SQUELCHED
******* If the celebration of homosexuality is one side of the public school
coin, the other side will be the denigration of opposing views. And when
those contrary views are rooted in Christian beliefs, the antagonism
that arises from "gay" sympathizers will be even more vigorous.
******* For example, at Arcata High School in Arcata, California, Christian
students in that public school were ridiculed for their beliefs about
homosexuality in a sex education lesson. Led by a representative of Planned
Parenthood, students were told to stand in a circle and were asked, "Do
you have a religious belief about homosexuality that considers it a sin
and wrong?" Those who did were told they had to remain alone in the
circle.
******* The representative admitted that "the children who answered yes had
to stay in the circle. This caused them to feel very demeaned, put down."
******* In St. Paul, Minnesota, 16-year-old Elliott Chambers was ordered by his
principal to stop wearing a sweatshirt that simply said "Straight
Pride" on the front, and contained the image of a man and woman holding
hands on the back.
******* And during a planned, day-long protest by homosexual students in Boone,
North Carolina, three Christian high school students were suspended by
the principal because they refused to change their "offensive"
T-shirts. The objectionable message? The trios shirts bore Biblical messages
about homosexuality and salvation.
******* In some schools, where students have been steadily fed homosexual
propaganda for years, it is sometimes classmates, and not school officials,
who assume the role of persecutors. One woman, whose family had moved
from the South to New Hampshire, said her boys were shocked at how they
were received.
******* "My 16-year-old son had to deal with unwanted advances from other male
students," she said. When she approached school officials to try to put
a stop to the harassment by homosexuals, they refused. "[W]hat happened
was the students found out that my 16- and 17-year-old boys were
against homosexuality so they were taunted constantly and treated as if they
were gay."
******* HOMOSEXUAL TECHNIQUES WILL BE TAUGHT TO STUDENTS
******* When homosexuality is accepted in principle, the sexual activities
associated with it will be included in public school sex education classes.
Frightening stories are already arising that give a chilling glimpse into what would be in store for public school children.
******* In 2000, the Boston affiliate of GLSEN co-sponsored a conference which
gave explicit "gay" sex lessons to kids as young as 14, and then tried to keep that information from reaching parents. The event, held at Tufts University, was funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Lecturers explained to participants about different homosexual practices, including "fisting," the homosexual practice of inserting ones fist and forearm into the anus of another man.
******* In Vermont another "gay" group, called Outright Vermont, has been
pushing the homosexual agenda in schools also at taxpayer expense. According to its own documents, Outright Vermont has used taxpayer money to provide "safer sex activities" and "parties" for teens, including "demonstrations, guided practice and skill evaluation" for the use of
prophylactics, and the distribution of free condoms, lubricants for sexual
intercourse between males, "dental dams" for oral sex between lesbians, and
latex gloves for mutual masturbation between homosexual teenagers. In
2000 alone, the number of such items requested by Outright Vermont for
distribution to teens was scandalous: 5,000 condoms, 750 dental dams,
750 latex gloves, and 2,000 packets of lubricant.
******* Sometimes the legitimization of homosexual activity is done in a
roundabout way. Harvey says that "both GLSEN and PFLAG advocate book
selections for youth that include positive portrayals of homosexual sex between
boys, pornography use, cheating on a spouse with a homosexual lover,
homosexual sex between underage youth and adults, and straight and gay
experimentation by uncertain youth."
******* ACCEPTANCE OF TRANSGENDERS
******* Activists argue that human sexuality is so fluid as to encompass all
conceivable orientations: heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality,
and even people who attempt the alteration of gender appearance.
******* This latter group consists of "trans-gendered" individuals men and
women who believe that their biological sex does not accurately reflect
what they perceive their gender to be. Some, called transsexuals, have
sex-change operations, while others maintain their biological sex and
merely "cross-dress."
******* Such gender-bending concepts are already causing chaos in some public
schools. In Missouri last year, the Francis Howell Board of Education
rejected complaints from parents when the cross-dressing parent of a
fourth-grade student chaperoned school field trips. In Brockton,
Massachusetts, a 15-year-old male student demanded the right to come to school
dressed like a girl, and school officials capitulated.
******* Meanwhile, in 1998 students at Southwest High School in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, were forced to accept librarian David Nielsens transition
into "Debra Davis," after he began wearing womans clothes to school and
identified himself as a woman.
******* Alarmingly, in that case the school sent a letter home with students
that defended its decision to embrace Nielsens cross-dressing. "We
believe [students] will be more enriched and have a better understanding of
diversity by knowing and working with this employee," the letter said.
******* According to the Evangelical News Service, Southwest High School even
presented to students "educational sessions" on transgenderism.
******* Nielsen also upset some teachers when he began using the womens
faculty restroom. Both the school administration and, eventually, a federal
court, rebuffed the complaints of female teachers.
******* Groups like GLSEN, PFLAG and the largest homosexual lobby group, the
Human Rights Campaign, all support changes in law which would include the
full acceptance of transgendered students right along with those who
define themselves as "gay," lesbian or bisexual.
******* If these demands are fully embraced, the prospect of gender chaos in
schools will be assured.
******* CONLCUSION
******* For more than 30 years, homosexual activists have been demanding that
our Judeo-Christian culture capitulate and embrace their view of human
sexuality, marriage and family. If Americans ever accept these demands,
they can expect to live in a culture that will be turned upside down
literally unhinged from the sane moorings instituted by the God of
heaven.
******* Harveys prediction is of a grotesque culture that includes: "Lesbian
bride dolls. Fourth grade gay clubs. A king and king at the high
school prom. Dating tips for same-sex teens. Bathroom ogling and sometimes
quick encounters in the middle school boys restroom."
******* Fortunately, while the groundwork for these changes has been laid, it
is not yet a done deal. But Americans who believe there is something
inherently abnormal, unnatural and immoral about homosexuality had better
stand up right now.
******* If the public schools are lost to homosexual activists, our children
and grandchildren will be thrown into a queer new world. And theres
nothing gay about that.

******* A10) DECRIMINALIZE SEX BETWEEN TEENS, PUBLIC SEX, SAY ACTIVIST GROUPS
******* Date: Thu, 17 Jun 2004
******* From: NARTH PRESS RELEASE via "Mission America"
******* For more information, contact:
Dr. A. Dean Byrd, 818.789.4440
Email: [email protected]
******* Encino, California -- The president of the National Association for
Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) expressed concern today over
a newly-announced alliance between the National Gay and Lesbian Task
Force and the Woodhull Freedom Foundation. "I am troubled that this new
alliance signals an all-out assault on age of consent laws governing
sexual behaviors between teenagers who believe they are homosexual," said
NARTH President Joseph Nicolosi today. "If this alliance is successful
in overturning state laws dealing with sex between minors, we will see
a tragic increase in children with sexual dysfunctions. I am especially
concerned about the threat this poses to sexually confused teens."
Dr. Nicolosi is reacting to news that the NGLTF has joined with the
Woodhull Freedom Foundation to examine what these groups describe as
"archaic" laws dealing with sex between teenagers as well as laws
prohibiting public sex between consenting adults. Both groups are vowing to fight to overturn laws they believe violate personal sexual freedom. "These
organizations are also vowing to fight laws dealing with public
sex--such as encounters in public restrooms," said Nicolosi. "This effort does
not bode well for those of us who believe that public restrooms should
be places where we can safely take our children--not as places where
gays can gather to engage in anonymous and potentially deadly sex acts."
******* Nicolosi expressed shock at this newly-announced effort by homosexuals
and sexual freedom advocates. "The NGLTF and Woodhull Freedom
Foundation are deliberately pushing the envelope on sexual behaviors that most
Americans still consider to be abhorrent. Both sex with children and sex
acts in public restrooms should be beyond the realm of discussion but
not apparently for these groups."
******* Nicolosi noted that the Woodhull Freedom Foundation's web site calls
for the "decriminalization of safe and consensual alternative sexual
expression, including public sex and sex work [legalized prostitution]" and
is also working to eliminate abstinence-only sex education in our
nation's public schools.

******* A11) LIFESITE NEWS AND PRO-FAMILY GROUPS SUBJECT TO INTIMIDATION FROM "GAY RIGHTS" LEADERS
******* from LifeSiteNews.com
******* Psychological warfare jamming technique seeks to instill doubt in minds of pro-family persons
******* Toronto, May 3, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Since the passage into Canadian law last week of the homosexual hate crime Bill C-250, LifeSiteNews.com and other pro-family groups in Canada have been subject to some intimidating communications from homosexual activists. The emails, and ones received over the last few years from other activists bear a similar slant, all suggesting LifeSiteNews.com, by reporting news on the homosexual issue that balances the mainstream medias bias, is hateful and out of touch with the rest of the world. The tactic is a well known psychological warfare technique known as jamming.
******* One email received the day C-250 was passed into law, was sent to homosexual activist leaders in Canada and purposely forwarded to LifeSiteNews.com, Focus on the Family Canada, and REAL Women Canada. In it Mark Hanlon, Director, External Issues at the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered group at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, wrote:
******* "These right winged, conservatives are teaching these same messages to their children for the good of society and for the good of morals and ethics. Let's get this one thing straight to all you Conservative groups - your children's attitudes, if they inherit these beliefs from you, will be in a minority down the road. You are setting them on a dangerous path of intolerance and hate. Stop this path - before the world of tomorrow judges them and, thanks to this bill, prisons or fines them. Crimes of hate against the LBGT community will be treated equally with anti-semitism, and anti-african canadian hate crimes."
******* Described years ago by Dr. Charles Socarides in Thought Reform And The Psychology of Homosexual Advocacy, jamming used by homosexual advocates seeks to instill doubt in the minds of pro-family leaders as to the correctness in their belief in the abnormality of homosexuality. This is done by oft-repeated but unfounded accusations of hateful speech and un-Christian-like conduct, and the equally unfounded assertion that pro-family positions are held by only an insignificant minority of society. (see Dr. Socarides work here: http://www.leaderu.com/orgs/narth/1995papers/socarides.html )
******* In his article Selling Homosexuality, prolific family issues writer Matt Kaufman reveals that Harvard-trained social scientists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen, in the late 80s issued a call for gay activists to adopt "carefully calculated public relations propaganda." Kaufman explains that included in that campaign was jamming, which he writes means, simply, smearing anyone who disagrees with their agenda.
******* Prominent US columnist Cal Thomas is quoted by the US website, People for the Way, Truth and Life, having said, Gay-rights groups are experienced intimidators. They feverishly oppose discussion about people who have come out of same-sex relationships and slander those who manage to get through their jamming system, saying people who abandon homosexuality weren't "really" homosexual in the first place.
******* http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/TPFT8634/mycustompage0101.htm
******* In a recent email to LifeSiteNews.com someone identifying him/herself only as The Watcher says, I . was shocked to discover that there are actually organizations like yours in Canada, hiding hate behind a mask of religion. The word hate has been unilaterally redefined by gay activists to refer to opposing views or even facts related to homosexuality that must be censored. The email continued, Actually, I'm glad I found you. I would appreciate it if you could supply me with a list of organizations that you know of that represent discrimination to its fullest. That way, I'll be able to keep an eye on everyone to ensure that Canada's hate laws are not infringed upon.
******* In an email referencing the supposed protection for religious groups against hate crime prosecution, someone identifying himself as H. (Bart) Vincelette from Vancouver B.C. said, You are not a religion recognized by the federal gov't, and therefore are subject to the scrutiny of those who believe in obeying the law of the land . . . I thought you might appreciate a friendly reminder that no one is exempt from the laws governing civility in Canada.
******* Finally emails from Lynn Harrington, an active member of the list-serve of the homosexual activist group EGALE (Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere) has for over a year emailed notes to LifeSiteNews.com similar to this one received last month: Lifesite, Here is something for you to think about in your homo-hating little world.
******* Another example of jamming - no tolerance, no reasoned dialogue, strong use of emotion and intimidation, false accusations. Historically, it sounds very familiar.

******* From: [email protected]
******* Sent: Monday, May 03, 2004
******* TORONTO - An Ontario court has ruled that the province's Film Review Board can no longer ban films.
******* The decision came Friday in a case against a gay bookstore in Toronto,
Glad Day Bookshop, which was charged after agents from the Ontario Film
Review Board bought a copy of an unapproved gay pornographic video.
******* The Ontario Superior Court said that forcing distributors to seek approval for a film is a violation of freedom of expression under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
******* The court suspended the board's authority to ban movies for a year,
although it will still classify films with ratings such as PG and Restricted.

******* A13) TIME MAGAZINE, SCHOOL EVENT EXPOSE MASSIVE CULTURAL CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE HOMOSEXUALITY TO KIDS 10/7/2005 By Robert Knight and Benjamin Frichtl http://www.cwfa.org/articles/9144/CFI/education/index.htm
******* From: Robert A. Jason
******* Sent: Friday, October 07, 2005
******* “Coming out? age has dropped to 10 for boys, 12 for girls, academic says.A TIME magazine cover story and a recent pro-homosexual school event should leave no doubt that homosexual activists are recruiting kids into homosexual sex and a “gay? identity, using “tolerance? as a ruse.
******* The TIME October 10 piece, “The Battle Over Gay Teens,? which includes not a single reference to the extremely dangerous medical consequences of homosexual behavior, especially for boys, includes these details:
******* • A cocktail party in Manhattan with billionaire liquor magnate Edgar Bronfman, Sr. and Clinton political strategist David Mixner was held in May to raise money for the Point Foundation, a scholarship program to turn “gay? kids into homosexual activists.
******* • >From 100 gay/straight alliance (GSA) clubs in schools in 1997, the number has grown to “at least 3,000…nearly 1 in 10 high schools has one, according to the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN).?
******* • The average age of males “coming out? as homosexual has “dropped to 10 for gays and 12 for lesbians,? according to the chair of Cornell University’s human-development program.
******* • “Gay kids can now watch fictional and real teens who are out on shows like Desperate Housewives, the dating show Next on MTV and Degrassi (a high school drama on the N network whose wild popularity among adolescents is assured by the fact that few adults watch). Publishers like Arthur A. Levine Books (of Harry Potter fame) and the children’s division of Simon & Schuster have released something like a dozen novels about gay adolescents in the past two years….Gay kids can now subscribe to the 10-month-old glossy YGA Magazine (YGA stands for ‘young, gay America’) and meet thousands of other little gays via young gay america. com (sic) or outproud.org.?
******* • “‘We’re gonna win,’ says [GLSEN founder Kevin] Jennings, speaking expansively of the gay movement, ‘because of what’s happening in high schools right now.’ … Jennings recalls that when he first started raising money more than a decade ago, ‘the attitude was either “Isn’t it cute that you’re working with kids?? or “Why are you working with kids? What are you, f------ crazy??’? Editor’s note: In other settings Jennings has used the “f-word? to dismiss faith-based opponents, and has said he envisions a day when the schools openly embrace homosexuality. At a GLSEN conference, a teacher said she thought it was important to acquaint pupils with homosexuality beginning in kindergarten because “that’s when the saturation process begins.?
******* • At a youth retreat, the Point Foundation gave out gift bags to students containing, among other things, “a DVD of the film Hedwig and the Angry Inch, in which a teenage boy is masturbated by an adult? and “the Aug. 16 issue of the gay magazine The Advocate, whose cover featured a shirtless man and blared, SUMMER SEX ISSUE.?
******* • “Because he routinely sees young gays on MTV or even at school, a 14-year-old may now feel comfortable telling friends that he likes other boys, but that doesn’t mean he is ready to enfold himself in a gay identity.? The article, to its credit, includes passages about the growing ex-“gay? movement, particularly for youths, and quotes Exodus International Youth Director Scott Davis about his group’s ministry, and Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) Executive Director Regina Griggs about the discrimination faced by groups that help people overcome homosexual desires. But the overall impact of the article helps validate the idea of “gay kids,? and will undoubtedly induce some to act out their sexual curiosity since so many others appear to be doing so. ******* The constant focus on homosexuality becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, much as TIME’s frequent articles during the 1960s and 1970s about the “growing phenomenon? of illicit drug use helped spur some kids to try marijuana and LSD. ******* A Week-Long Effort in the Schools GLSEN, meanwhile, has been extremely active in the schools. Their most recent effort, “National Ally Week,? was held September 19-24. According to GLSEN’s Web site, more than 300 gay/straight alliance groups registered to pass out buttons, organize gender education activities, and promote the homosexual lifestyle. Ally Week encourages the recruitment of “straight? students as allies in the fight against bullying of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) students. The “straight? allies are encouraged to speak out in defense of homosexuality. GLSEN passed out “I am an ALLY? buttons through the GSAs, and the Web site encouraged students to arrange more specific activities to promote acceptance of “gay? students.
******* The listed events included:
******* • “Organizing LGBT pizza parties, and after-school activities like LGBT Jeopardy or LGBT bingo.
******* • Informative tabling in school cafeterias.
******* • Student and/or teacher training workshops.
******* • Asking allies to attend regular GSA meetings.
******* • Constructing pro-LGBT bulletin boards.
******* • Bringing a local LGBT speaker to the school.?
******* Last April, GLSEN sponsored the annual “Day of Silence,? in which kids are supposed to remain silent all day in support of their “gay? classmates. April 26, 2006, is the next “Day of Silence.?
******* This past January, GLSEN headed the coalition sponsoring “No-Name Calling Week,? another platform for discouraging resistance to the promotion of homosexuality to school kids, with the next edition slated in January 2006.
******* In effect, schoolchildren across the nation are being subjected to homosexual propaganda in schools via an event every few months. GLSEN encourages teachers to organize and participate in GSA events. The group provides a web link that supplies educators with pro-LGBT resources. These include “gender liberation? coloring books; “gay? cartoon posters; and several posters challenging traditional views of gender. Teachers can download signs with inverted, rainbow-colored triangles proclaiming “Safe Zone? to put on their classroom door. They can also print off discussion kits on how to organize gender education sessions and start conversations about homosexuality with the children.
******* One poster, titled, “Things you can do to eradicate gender or multiply it exponentially,? features cross-dressing, and has these suggestions:
******* • “Think twice before you ask people if their child is a boy or a girl. ******* • Spend a day in drag.
******* • Refer to everyone by the incorrect pronoun.
******* • Challenge binary gender paradigms over Thanksgiving dinner.
******* • Hang out with children and teach them how to cross dress Barbie and G.I. Joe.
******* • Refuse to check off your sex when filling out forms.?
******* Clearly, the homosexual movement's effort to recruit children has never been stronger than it is now. Robert Knight is director of the Culture & Family Institute (CFI), an affiliate of Concerned Women for America. Benjamin Frichtl is a CFI intern and a student at Patrick Henry College.

******* item A14 HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVISTS TERRORIZE BOSTON CHURCH DURING EVENT

It's gone too far: Get involved! Join the movement to take back our government in Massachusetts! (Feel free to pass this along to others)
www.article8.org
******* UNBELIEVABLE: Homosexual activists terrorize Boston church during ex-gay conference while police watch!
******* "The same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe -- the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution." - John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
******* Demonstrators had no permit, but Boston police stand by and do nothing
******* Sound truck, coffins placed at church door. Police allow near-riot outside, but tell people inside they can't leave.
******* Ignored by Boston media. (Why aren't we surprised?)
******* It is utterly and completely unbelievable that this would happen to a church. In the United States of America. During a religious event.
******* As hundreds of people from across Massachusetts and came to the Tremont Temple Baptist Church to attend a widely acclaimed conference on recovering from homosexuality through a relationship with God, angry and enraged homosexual activists converged outside to intimidate and terrorize them.
******* The all-day conference, titled "Love Won Out" featured renowned lecturers, many of whom had left the homosexual lifestyle and were married in heterosexual relationships. Major themes included theology and relationships with God, as well as practical information for those struggling with homosexuality or who know people who are in that situation.
******* At the church entrance, homosexual activists gathered before 8 am and stayed until that evening when the conference ended. They were joined by more activists as the day went on, including many who apparently came from an anti-war rally on the Boston Common.
******* They did whatever they could to harass and intimidate the attendees, including waving signs, yelling and screaming, and later they even brought a sound truck. Some of the activists went up to a few of the individual attendees and took close up photos at them, taunting them personally.
******* The homosexual demonstrators also set up two coffins right in front of the church with pro-homosexual epithets written on them.
******* Even though they had no demonstration permit, police stood aside and let the activists conduct their anti-religious terrorism. Rather than intervene when it escalated to a near-riot, the police barricaded the church and told people inside they could not go out.
******* COMING TO CHURCHES ACROSS AMERICA?
******* Yes, this unbelievable. But unless you're willing to stand up and do something, get used to it.

########## B) RESISTANCE TO THE PROMOTION OF HOMOSEXUALITY ##########
******* B1) THE HOMOSEXUAL PROBLEM - REPORT ON THE APRIL 23, 2002 EDITION OF "ALAN KEYES IS MAKING SENSE" (This features a debate among host Alan Keyes (a former U.S. Presidential Candidate), Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, and two guests representing both "Dignity USA" and "Catholics Speak Out" advocacy groups who openly promote the legitimization of homosexual activity within the Catholic Church [the recently accused Fr. Shanley served as Chaplain to one of the organizations]).
******* Quoting from the statement delivered by the Pope which read, The abuse of the young is a grave symptom of a crisis affecting not only the church, but society as a whole. It is a deep-seated crisis of sexual morality Keyes established the fact that many of the abuse cases represent clear violations of Church teaching on sexual morality and homosexual activity. Moreover, Keyes asked whether attempts by groups such as Dignity USA and Catholics Speak Out to legitimize homosexual activity within the Church are indeed part of the problem.
******* As expected, homosexual advocacy groups such as GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) were outraged! Just last week they issued an ALERT to their loyal members urging them to express your displeasure with the unfair behavior and defamatory anti-gay attacks of Alan Keyes, providing contact information for the producers of the show.
******* This despite the fact that report after report issued over the last several weeks have made it abundantly clear--the overwhelming majority of accused priests were homosexual priests, and many of their victims were teenage boys. Keyes was only stating what has become plainly obvious to many. The solution to the victimization of teenage boys by homosexual priests is NOT to promote more homosexual activity, but to STOP it!
******* In recent weeks it has also been reported that one of the accused priests participated in meetings of NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association), a group that openly promotes sexual relations between adult males and young boys. The accusations against Paul Shanley confirm Keyes judgment that homosexual advocacy groups fuel sexual abuse.
******* And it is precisely this conviction which has led the Thomas More Law Center to represent parents of a child sexually abused and murdered by a NAMBLA member.
******* The goal of our lawsuit is to bring down NAMBLA by exposing it for what it isan organized effort to hide criminal activity between predatory men and adolescent males.
******* And guess who is opposing us? The ACLU! They believe that NAMBLA has a constitutional right to advocate, encourage, and assist men in having sex with underage boys, and they refuse to acknowledge NAMBLAs role in facilitating predatory activity!
******* Father Richard Welch, CSSR, JCD, President of Human Life International, the worlds largest pro-life, pro-family apostolate noted, "The lawsuit against NAMBLA sees beyond the rhetoric and rationalizations of a society that is too cowardly to confront its own demons. Finally, we are asserting legally what we have always known in our heartsthat advocacy groups like NAMBLA serve to reaffirm and encourage deviancy, violence, and the exploitation of children.
******* Groups like NAMBLA and those that encourage homosexual activity MUST be stopped! Their influence on children, particularly in public schools, and in the Catholic Church, must end. Keyes show last Tuesday is proof that these groups do not see themselves as part of the problem, but instead are seeking to take advantage of the current crisis in the Church to promote their own perverse agenda.
******* It is time to take action.

******* B2) CHRISTIANS NEED TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA
******* By Rusty Pugh May 14, 2002
******* (AgapePress) - A leading family-values activist says it is time for Christians to remember the biblical admonition to protect children from those who would cause them to fall.
******* Janet Folger, national director for the Center for Reclaiming America, says it is time for Christians to do exactly that: take America back. She says one area of concern is the attempts by the radical homosexual movement to force their lifestyle into schools in order to lure young minds into accepting a lifestyle that the Bible calls an abomination. [See related articles from April 30, 2002, and May 3, 2002]
******* "God said it's better for someone to have a millstone hung around their neck than to cause one of these 'little ones' to sin," Folger says, paraphrasing Matthew 18:6. Christians, she says, cannot sit idly by and allow homosexuals to corrupt innocent children.
******* "These children are going to be put in harm's way, and unless Christians stand up and do something about it in the elections, I think legal action should also be pursued, as it appears that it is on track," she says. "That's why we need to be getting involved at the local level, to reclaim our communities and reclaim America."
******* Folger says it is crucial for parents to fight school boards on the local level when pro-homosexual proposals are introduced.
******* THREAT TO TRADITIONAL VALUES
******* Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate is considering a hate crimes bill that adds sexual orientation to the list of federally protected categories such as race and religion.
******* Many consider the inclusion of "hate crimes" to be a political statement. Bob Knight of the Culture and Family Institute says the "real game plan is to elevate sexual orientation to a protected class." He goes on to say that the proposal is a threat to traditional values.
******* "If the government adds sexual orientation to law, it immediately places people with traditional values on the wrong side of the law," Knight says.
******* Under current law, the federal government can only prosecute hate crimes if the victim was engaged in a federally protected activity, like voting, or if the crime occurred on federal property. Passage of this bill would extend federal involvement to any crime determined to be motivated by bias.

B3) INTERFAITH COALITION TO INTERVENE IN HOMOSEXUAL BOOK CASE AT SUPREME COURT
******* The following is an excerpt from LifeSite Daily News - January 28, 2002.
******* OTTAWA, January 28, 2002 (LSN.ca) - Evangelicals, Catholics and a pro-family group are teaming up to defend a school board's decision to keep books promoting homosexual parenthood out of kindergarten and grade one classrooms. The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), the Archdiocese of Vancouver, the Catholic Civil Rights League and the Canadian Alliance for Social Justice and Family Values Association were granted intervenor status last week. They will be working to defend the rights of religious parents to participate in decisions about the education of their children, in the case where a vast majority supported a restriction on the use of the books.
******* The case of Chamberlain v. Surrey School Board traveled up the court system until the BC Supreme Court ruled in favour of the homosexual activists. That ruling forced homosexual propaganda books into kindergarten and grade one classrooms against the wishes of a majority of parents. The ruling by BC Supreme Court's Madam Justice Saunders overturned the board's decision to ban the books from elementary grades saying it was based on religious convictions and therefore "contrary to s.76(1) of the School Act. " The section states that schools are to be "conducted on strictly secular ... principles." However, a unanimous, 3-0, decision of the BC Court of Appeal overturned that decision. In writing the Appeal decision Mr. Justice Mackenzie stated: "Moral positions must be accorded equal access to the public square without regard to religious influence. A religiously informed conscience should not be accorded any privilege, but neither should it be placed under a disability."
******* The Supreme Court of Canada agreed to hear the appeal by the homosexual activists last year despite the fact that the deadline to appeal the decision had expired six months prior to the application. Gary Walsh, President of EFC, warned, "The Christian community cannot stand silent as courts take away our right to participate in the public life of Canada." The EFC is arguing that "Parents have a right to participate in school board decision-making concerning appropriate classroom materials, whether their concerns are related to religion, culture or otherwise." Moreover they say, "Exclusion of religion from the public school system infringes religious freedom as guaranteed by s. 2(a) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms."
******* The case is not expected to be heard for several months.

******* B4) STUDENT TOLD TO SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS OR GET AN 'F'
******* - I want to credit NewsNet5.com for this article and to thank Colleen Seitz for granting permission to put it on this web site.
******* Lakeland Community College Student Fights Decision
******* POSTED: 10:43 p.m. EDT May 7, 2002
******* KIRTLAND, Ohio -- What if a class assignment forced you to choose between getting a passing grade or following your moral values? A class at Lakeland Community College was told to wear a pink triangle for the day to symbolize gay pride. NewsChannel5's Kareen Wynter reported that one student decided to fight it, but it almost cost him the school year.
******* Many students dream of graduating school with high honors, but this student said that he has little to look forward to in his final weeks. "It's a moral issue I have," he said. "I pay tuition to come to this school. I shouldn't have to defend my moral issues."
******* A class project in criminal justice turned sour for the college senior, who we'll call Ian. The assignment was to wear a pink triangle around school for the day as a symbol of gay rights and then write about the experience. Ian confronted his teacher. "I asked 'What if a student were to feel uncomfortable with this -- would there be an alternate assignment?'" he said. "She said no."
He, in turn, got an F and faced expulsion.
******* So why wasn't the student offered a backup assignment? Lakeland administrators said that it is part of classroom policy. "I think if the situation were easy, it wouldn't have been part of the curriculum," said Barbara Grano of Lakeland. Still, faculty members said that they didn't break the rules. "Absolutely, this student had an option," she said.
******* When NewsChannel5 spoke with Ian later in the day, his teacher had given him an apology note that read, in part, that the requirement was waived.
******* Ian said that he doesn't think things would have been resolved had NewsChannel5 not gotten involved. "I appreciate everything you've done," he said. His mother was happy, too. "I was thrilled," she said. "Here's a young man who stood up for himself, and it worked."
******* Professors at Lakeland said that there's a list of things you can and can't challenge in the school's handbook.

******* B5) DOES SODOMY TRUMP FREE SPEECH IN AMERICA?
******* Tuesday, October 29 @ 06:49:42 EST
******* By Rev. Louis P. Sheldon Chairman, Traditional Values Coalition
******* Washington, DC Homosexual activists appear to be winning the battle to violate the freedom of speech and religion of all Americans. Three recent cases involving freedom of speech, religion, and sodomy provide chilling evidence that the First Amendment is being trumped by the advocates of anal intercourse.
******* The first case involves the firing of Rolf Szabo, a 23-year veteran of the Eastman Kodak Company. Szabo was fired after refusing to apologize for sending an email to his fellow employees that expressed disgust at the promotion of homosexuality by his company. Szabo had received an email from company officials encouraging Kodak employees to participate in and encourage the homosexual-sponsored Coming Out Day on October 11. The corporate memo was supposedly designed to encourage diversity within the company.
******** Szabo fired back an email with these simple words: Please do not send this type of information to me anymore, as I find it disgusting and offensive. Instead of celebrating Szabos diverse opinion against the practice of anal sodomy, the corporate leaders demanded that Szabo write up an apology and a promise that he would not make such statements in the future. He refused to cave in to the homosexual agenda and was terminated.
******** The second case involves Danny Buggs, a former NFL player and motivational speaker in Georgia who was recently suspended for offensive comments that he made about homosexuals to an assembly of male students at Stone Mountain High School. Buggs has served the DeKalb County school system for 20 years. If he wishes to continue working in the school system, he will be forced to take a sensitivity training session to learn to value the differences in people. This apparently includes being forced to openly value the practice of anal intercoursea behavior that has serious health consequencesincluding death from AIDS infection.
******** The third case involves both freedom of speech and religion. Pastor Tom Hansen is a volunteer chaplain at the Ferndale, Michigan Police Department. Homosexual activists are calling for his removal as the chaplain because he believes that homosexual behavior is a sin. He bases his views upon the clear reading of the Bible, which most Christians consider to be the Word of God. Hansen recently called homosexuality an abomination to the Lord, which is an accurate interpretation of what the Bible says about this deviant behavior.
******* Sean Kosofsky, the director of the Detroit homosexual group, Triangle Foundation, says that Hansen can have his private beliefs, but shouldnt be free to express those beliefs as a volunteer for the police department.
******** Kosofskys view is an example of the kind of Brown Shirt mentality that pervades the homosexual movement: Free speech is fine as long as its not openly expressed. Freedom of religion is fine as long as one doesnt actually practice it in public or as a pastor serving as a chaplain.
******* In each of these cases, the free speech and religion rights of these individuals are being violated by an aggressive minority of sexual deviates who engage in a bizarre behavior that most Americans still think is abnormal and is medically unsafe.
******* Why should the behavior of sodomy be allowed to trump the First Amendment and the religious beliefs of millions of Americans? Homosexuals account for only 1-2 percent of the entire population. They engage in a behavior that can kill them or that routinely infects them with serious venereal diseasesyet this behavior is given deference while our Constitutional rights are being trashed.
******* Ex-gay ministries like Exodus International and groups like the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality provide compelling evidence that homosexuality is a behaviornot a fixed identityand that individuals who engage in anal intercourse can be cured.
******* When will our public officials come to the realization that those who engage in sodomy are doing so voluntarily and that those who oppose this deviate sex act are guaranteed the right to criticize this behavior under the Constitution? Why should anal intercourse and the spreading of AIDS and STDs be permitted to trump the Bill of Rights?

******* B6 THE BIBLE AND HOMOSEXUALITY
******* LETTER TO THE EDITOR (original letter sent to St. Catharines Standard and published - in a drastically shortened and revised form - on July 18/03)
******* The homosexual sociologists/activists Marshall Kirk & Hunter Madsen wrote the book "After the Ball: How America will conquer its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 1990s". This is the famed "Homosexual Agenda", Bible of 'gay' activists. In it the authors fiendishly and cleverly spell out their agenda - an important part of which is designed to infiltrate and indoctrinate the liberal elements within the Church. The leaders of the United Church in Canada, for example, have bought into this agenda hook, line and sinker.
******* Allow me to show why the shepherds of the United Church are leading their flock astray. They are not being true to Christ and the holy scriptures. Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, taught clearly that the institution of marriage was ordained by God to be only between man and woman to the exclusion of others.
******* He told us in Mark 10:6, "But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two but one..."
******* With these words, Jesus affirmed the teaching of Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, where God articulated the foundational principles of human sexuality: "male and female united (as) one flesh."
******* Thus, all human sexual relationships were to be monogamous, life-long, heterosexual unions as blessed by God. This core principle is re-inforced in Matthew 19:4; 1 Corinthians 6:16; Ephesians 5:31.
******* To put it bluntly, marriage is between Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
******* The sin of homosexuality is clearly condemned in Genesis 19:1-29; Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13; Romans 1:24-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 etc. All major religions of the world consider homosexuality a sin.
******* We as free citizens of a free country have a civic duty to expose the promotion of the homosexual agenda by the United Church, other mainline liberal churches and left-liberal institutions. We must tell the truth to our fellow Canadians about the health dangers and harmfulness of the homosexual lifestyle and its agenda.
******* Yours sincerely,
******* Robert A. Jason

******* B7 INTERVIEW WITH A PARENTS' RIGHTS ACTIVIST: BRIAN CAMENKER
******* by Joseph Nicolosi, Ph.D.
******* Updated: 20 September 2004
******* This article can be found on line at http://www.narth.com/docs/camenker.html
******* In cooperation with gay groups such as GLSEN and GLAAD, the state of Massachusetts has recently instituted a broad range of gay-affirming Health and Human Sexuality programs. Some of these programs have caught the attention of parents, who are disturbed at the programs' one-sided approach, and also their tendency to override the values of many parents. Here, NARTH interviews Massachusetts parent-activist Brian Camenker.
******* JN: Tell us, Brian, what is the Parents' Rights Coalition? And what motivated you to get started?
******* BC: It's an organization focusing mainly on the gay-affirming and sex-education programs in the state of Massachusetts.
******* JN: You're a computer programmer with two children in the public school system in that state. What problems did you see in those programs?
******* BC: In my hometown of Newton in 1992, a group of parents became very concerned about the homosexual agenda and the general approach to sexuality being introduced into the community schools by those programs.
******* When we first went to the local school committee to discuss our concerns, we were rebuffed. They called us some very unflattering names, and said that the community should avoid people like me because I was a Christian fundamentalist. Even though I'm Jewish! We basically got nowhere. Then the newspapers contacted me.
******* Later that year the Catholic Archbishop of Boston called a meeting of intellectuals, academics, and others from different ethnic backgrounds and religious faiths to talk about the issues troubling them in our culture. One of those issues of concern was Massachusetts' new sex-education programs. This group became The Interfaith Coalition of Massachusetts, and I was elected chairman.
******* JN: And then what happened?
******* BC: The first thing we wanted to do was create the "Parents' Rights Bill," which we wrote and presented to the State Legislature. Essentially, it said that parents have to be told when their children are being put into these courses. They should have the option to remove their kids if they wished; schools could not take retribution on the kids that had opted out; and parents had the right to see the course material.
******* Over a period of time, The Interfaith Coalition became the Parents' Rights Coalition. In short order our work began to generate a lot of controversy, and then a lot of the clergy involved didn't want to take the heat, and they stepped back.
******* What was left of our group then solidified, and it became less of a group of academics and community leaders, and more of a group of thousands of parents.
******* JN: It seems that many religious leaders tend to avoid conflict, doesn't it?
******* BC: Oh, yes, there was a great reticence about controversy. Eventually we had to forget about the religious leaders and rely on the parents instead. They were the ones who carried us through.
******* What happened next, was that we presented this bill in the State Legislature. It got tremendous hostility from the Teachers' Unions and the homosexual groups. Tremendous, tremendous hostility. However, we battled on, we got thousands of parents involved, and it took a couple of years--but we got it passed by both Houses, and then signed into law by Governor Bill Weld.
******* Now during that process, unfortunately it got watered down a lot, but still, it was a great victory for us and a great defeat for them because they put a tremendous amount of effort into killing it.
******* One of the interesting things was when it came down to the very last afternoon of the legislative session, we were outside the chambers of the House of Representatives, and the activists had a dozen of their key lobbyists there. They were polling every single member of the legislature as they came in and went out, as to how they were going to vote. In that same room, we had 120 parents! These activists were very upset because for the first time, they were being challenged.
******* These little mothers, some had come in 100 miles from Worcester, saying to the legislators, "Why won't you let us have these rights, why are you doing this to our children?" And the legislators had no answers.
******* JN: They weren't expecting such resistance.
******* BC: They're used to being the intimidators. They're used to holding the moral high ground against people they had been painting as bad guys, and they were in shock at who they actually had to answer to. They had to answer to a group of dedicated mothers.
******* JN: So much of the success of the gay agenda has always been because the victims take the moral high ground. The fact they tend to blur, is that while gay-bashing is morally objectionable to everyone, people are entitled to voice legitimate, principled objection. There are some reasonable distinctions to be made between homosexuality and heterosexuality, and that of course is not "hatred" of a group of people.
******* BC: Indeed it is not. But the Legislature did not want to pass this bill, so we essentially had to show them that we had the support to get it through, and now it is state law.
******* Since then, we've had some other minor victories too. In my own situation with my then 11-year-old daughter in the sixth grade, she was put in a Health course whose goal, among other things, was to help each child understand his race, class, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. This was a course they had in place for an 11-year-old.
******* The principal would not let me take her out. He said the Massachusetts court curriculum guidelines required Health, and so I presented all of this to the State Board of Education.
******* A few months later, the state Board of Education removed Health from the curriculum guidelines.
******* But that victory stirred up a new controversy. Making my experience as an example of what's wrong in Massachusetts, The Boston Globe was livid, and they published a story that was very unflattering about me. But the controversy settled down again because parents and a lot of other people got involved. What I've found is that's what it takes--parents getting involved.
******* JN: Why is it so hard to mobilize parents?
******* BC: The other side is tremendously well organized. But mostly, parents have their own lives to live and don't have the time to get involved in activism to defend the issues that are important to them. On the other hand, our opposition on this issue can invest a great deal of time, energy and passion in what they believe in.
******* Also, many people are simply unaware of what is happening. When we show them these school curriculums, they don't believe us.
******* I have a close friend, an older guy who was in interned in Nazi concentration camps in Word War II. He was a Holocaust survivor, and he "gets it"...he understands the problem of denial and how it can paralyze a whole society. When people don't believe something is actually going on, they go about their lives as if nothing is happening.
******* So because people can't imagine it is that extreme, we've very carefully documented all of what we talk about.
******* In fact, we had an article about us in the National Review, in September 1995, that documented a lot of this. We still get calls from that article.
******* JN: Where can people reach you?
******* BC: Our address is The Parents Rights Coalition, P.O. Box 175, Newton, MA 02466. We have a voice mail at (781) 433-7106. We finally were able to get an office with an Executive Director--we've been able to raise enough money from concerned citizens to establish ourselves.
******* Our tape has been heard by thousands of people by now. In fact when the Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives heard it, he called me into his office while the House was in session to talk about his concerns about the school system. But that time, the lawmakers didn't have the guts to follow through and actually do something.
******* JN: They were intimidated.
******* BC: They didn't want to offend anyone. So our job in this next year is to make them more afraid of the voters than they are of the gay agenda. What I think is their Achilles' heel, is the recovery movement.
******* JN: Absolutely.
******* BC: That is their Achilles' heel, and that's what we have to nurture in Massachusetts.
******* JN: Where do you plan to go from here?
******* BC: What our latest objective is to de-fund the million and half dollars that Republican Governor Celucci gives every year to the Gay/Straight Alliance out of the state budget. We think that should be a private enterprise, like our group--not a cause promoted by tax dollars. As our audiotape reveals, this group has been incredibly destructive in the public schools.
******* Another thing we've done is to documented the educational abuses we talk about. I can cite the location of every one I've mentioned--"chapter and verse."
******* Another thing we did here in Newton is to support candidates for the school committee. Recently we almost won several seats, so the school committee is worried about us.
******* JN: What do they say about your tape?
******* BC: One of the committee members called me up and we went to lunch this past Friday. I pulled out documentation of all of these things that are going on in the public schools. She didn't believe what I'd said--until I showed her the papers and handouts.
******* JN: What is your strategy in approaching the schools?
******* BC: We used to just say to the school committees, "We hope that this is something you won't do, because of this-and-that reason." But we've changed. You need to confront these people directly.
******* Our stand now is, "You do not have the right or the authority to do this to our children." That is a different perspective that takes them a little off-guard, and it is much more effective. Because in these programs, nobody is standing up and admitting to the kids, "This is a self-destructive lifestyle that could kill you."
******* Someone who believes in what we're doing once came here and spoke to a Parents' Rights gathering. At first he was arguing whether or not these programs that support kids in getting into a gay lifestyle are a civil right or not. I believe that when you argue on that level, you've lost. I believe you have to get right to the heart of it, right to the behavior, right to what a gay lifestyle really is...the whole way it tears apart your soul.
******* One of the reasons that I feel more comfortable than others in discussing this is that in my own life I've had many close friends who are homosexual. I've seen close-up what this does to them...the inner turmoil they're going through.
******* I may not be a psychologist, but I can see very clearly--I'd say, intuitively--that homosexuality has got to be a symptom of something deeper going on in the individual.
******* JN: I agree. It's about a deep desire to be acceptable within the company of members of one's own sex, and to experience their affirmation, attention and affection. Homosexuality is not, fundamentally, about sex. It's a search for identity and a sense of belonging.
******* BC: Yes, that's exactly how I see it. They take these fragile, confused kids and say to them: "Well, you may feel unsure of who you are, but from what you've told us, we've decided that what you really are is homosexual, so come on downtown and meet these other guys."
******* The superintendent of the schools at Newton actually had a public meeting, where he introduced a 16-year-old who talked about his love for men. The superintendent was proud of this! This is how the schools' Gay/Straight Alliances are helping kids.
******* George Orwell once said that "There's no idea so bizarre that it will not be accepted by an intellectual." It seems that the smarter people are, the more willing they are to accept nonsense that simply contradicts common sense.
******* I live in Newton, which has several Nobel Prize winners, and...
******* JN: ...And I bet they're all paralyzed when it comes to thinking clearly and decisively about these issues.
******* BC: You're right.
******* JN: Because the intellectual says, "Well, I don't know...maybe it's true, who can say, who can judge? Maybe that's his truth, even if it's not my truth." When you talk about something that you passionately believe to be true, and offer reasonable arguments, their eyes just glaze over.
******* In fact--I still laugh when I remember this--The New York Times ran an article in 1998 called "Analysts Get Together for a Synthesis." It was a report on a psychoanalytic conference at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.
******* Analysts now tend to avoid the attempt to get to the truth in their patients' histories--"abandoning certainty in favor of a reasonable myth the patient can believe in."
******* "The discussion of true versus false is a false issue," one analyst said. Another conceded, "We're all anxious to show what we don't know."
******* "During the meeting," said The Times, "only a few analysts claimed to know anything."
******* BC: Yet they all believe that homosexuality is normal and healthy, and a gay lifestyle is good. That, they seem to have no doubt about.
******* The root of this problem--and so many other people around me find to be true also--is that when you give up believing in a transcendent moral order reflected in human nature, with laws that mankind cannot change by popular vote, then anything's possible. Anything at all is possible when you say there is no objective truth. That's a big problem, particularly among intellectuals, who are much smarter than God.
******* One of the things for which I've looked to NARTH, is help in getting the scientific facts together. I really enjoyed a book by one of your Scientific Advisory Board members, Jeffrey Satinover. His Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth has been very important to us. I also liked both of Scott Lively's books...very good. That's what I find is very powerful--when you confront people with the truth.
******* JN: People who in their gut feel there's something not quite right about homosexuality. That's what I call "natural homophobia." I'm not talking about the kind of homophobia that leads to gay-bashing or scapegoating...we all know, without question, that's wrong. I'm talking about the gut feeling people have that there is something not really quite normal about two men or two women falling in love.
******* The average person just knows there is something missing there. There is--as a very prominent member of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Robert Spitzer, recently admitted--something that is just "not working" when a person has no capacity for heterosexual arousal.
******* But when the layman thinks this way, he is hit with so-called scientific information that disproves his intuition about homosexuality, and then he feels guilty and embarrassed about having had that intuition. The gay movement says that his idea is the same as racial hatred--a feeling all of us know is reprehensible. So at that point, the average person just throws up his hands. After all, if science is against him, then his feelings must represent nothing more than ignorance and prejudice.
******* But the fact is, science supports his gut reaction.
******* BC: And NARTH is clarifying that for us--that there's scientific information on the other side of this issue.
******* JN: I'm glad we've been able to get the information out there.
******* BC: By the way, I've discovered that when I deal with the media, it's actually better to say it exactly as it is; don't sugar-coat it.
******* I had an interesting situation on WGBH-TV,, the public television center in Boston. They had me there on a talk show last year. I was on on Emily Rooney's show--she's Andy Rooney's daughter--along with a woman who's the head of The New England Gay and Lesbian Advocacy.
******* Emily Rooney's first question was, "Well Mr. Camenker, what is it about homosexuality that seems to bother you so much?"
******* And I said, "Well Emily, for one thing it's a public-health problem. A lifetime of anal sex does not do great things for the body."
******* Nobody had ever said that on public television.
******* JN: So you got right to it.
******* BC: The place erupted. They started screaming at me.
******* JN: Because as troubling as that statement sounds, there is no logical argument against it.
******* BC: So then she said, "Well, what about lesbians?" And I mentioned something about the lesbian sexual practices that happened to be described in detail to kids in my daughter's "Living and Learning" health class--a particular practice which happens to be especially gross.
******* She said, "What do you know about what I do with my sexuality--what do you know?"
******* I said, "Emily, that's the whole point, we don't want to know. Nobody wants to know." And neither do our children need to be taught these things in junior high school.
******* She apparently is heterosexual, but she just lost it.
******* I must have gotten letters and phone calls from people for two months saying, "Boy, you were wonderful!"
******* JN: Sometimes you have to get right down to the bottom line and just say it. Because the paradox is that many people who support the full affirmation of homosexuality in our society do not even want to consider what the actual behavior is.
******* BC: No, they don't.
******* JN: They like to think, as someone once commented, "that gay men just hug."
******* BC: In fact, I've found that the truth is a very powerful thing. I think it was Pope Paul who was quoted in the Wall Street Journal, of all places saying essentially, "The main thing that brought about freedom in Eastern Europe and destabilized the totalitarian movement was people's refusal to lie." That is what we have to learn.
******* JN: And your audiotape has been pretty clear in delivering the facts about what's been happening in the schools.
******* BC: We've gotten out that one-hour tape to thousands of people by now. In fact, when the Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives heard it, he called me into his office while the House was in session to talk about his concerns about the school system. Of course, he didn't have the guts to do anything. But our job in this next year is to make them more afraid of the voters than they are of the gay agenda.
******* What I think is their Achilles' heel, is the recovery movement.
******* JN: Absolutely. And that's where NARTH comes in.
******* BC: Right. That is their Achilles' heel, and that's what we have to nurture here in Massachusetts.
******* JN: This is really where the solution lies--reparative therapy, the healing of homosexuality. When we show a person who was once gay and now is no longer gay, that pulls the rug out from under the entire notion that there are two distinct groups of people, different from birth--gay people and straight people.
******* BC: I don't think we're really going to get anywhere until we can get the recovery movement off the ground.
******* JN: That's what NARTH is trying to do.
******* BC: It must be extremely difficult. I can imagine that it is one of the most difficult things for a person to get free from--harder, I would think, than alcoholism.
******* JN: Yes it is, because there's not just an addictive behavior involved, but it's more than that--the basic issue goes back to identity. The only solution for many men seems to be an annihilation of the self, and an identification with an idealized male who it seems must be "out there" somewhere, if only he can find him. The issue is about a struggle with self-hatred, and about the search for identity.
******* BC: You know, I personally have known dozens of such men. I've had many as close friends who I deeply cared about, and I've seen this torment and watched it in their lives. And I hope to persuade the Massachusetts schools that they aren't helping our kids by opening up the door into a destructive lifestyle.
******* JN: NARTH's position is that the teenage years are not the time to make a decision about sexual identity. This is a decision to be made by a mature person in adulthood, when all the facts are available, and when the options can be carefully considered, and he has the benefit of a few more years of life experience.
******* Thanks very much, Brian, for a most interesting description of what's happening in Massachusetts.
******* In our next issue, we'll publish a transcript of your audiotape describing those Massachusetts school programs in detail.

B8) LETTER FROM BARBARA GOBBI TO FRANK WAGNER RE: POLITICAL SCREENING OF PROSPECTIVE MEDICAL STUDENTS
******* From: "Barbara Gobbi" to Frank Wagner
******* Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 15:59:32 +0000
******* Hi, Frank:
******* The National Post published the following letter of mine other than the
part I have put into squared brackets. There had been an editorial, one letter
for and one letter against preceding it . It was followed by a letter against mine and then an excellent highlighted 'Letter of the Day' by Douglas Farrow, associate professor of Christian Thought at McGill on June 17.
******* The National Post had a good editorial on that same day against the the
homosexual propogandizing of the school curriculum that the B. C. government
appears to be encouraging re the Peter and Murray Corren scenario.
******* God bless, Barb
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
******* Editor, National Post
******* In a recent interview with ABC news, Dr. Greg Deacon, the president of
the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, has complained about the practice
of some Australian medical schools asking candidates about their views on
"gay marriage." He does not consider this move toward an ideological vetting
process to be in the best interest of the medical system. I think most Canadians would agree.
******* There is every reason to think that a similar situation could happen in
Canada. In our country’s current legal climate of accepting homosexual ‘marriage,’ it is probably just a matter of time before all social-oriented
professions, such as teaching and social work, will be using a similar question for interviews. Is this really the ‘Canadian’ way - or is it time to do some serious thinking about where this country is going?
******* Hopefully, Canadians will be getting themselves educated about the truths regarding same-sex attraction and behaviours [ - go to www.narth.org
for a start - ]in preparation for a vote in the House of Commons this fall on
whether or not the legislation allowing same-sex ‘marriage’ that was passed
under the previous Liberal government will be repealed. This issue is not
about human rights; it is about the success of a highly organized and
successful lobbying effort for acceptance of problematic sexuality that
needs to be stopped if we are to remain a strong and healthy society.

******* B9) HETEROSEXUALS VICTIMIZED BY HOMOSEXUALS - Ex-Gays also deserve respect
******* From "PFOX" View Contact Details
******* Date Tue, 11 Jul 2006
******* By Regina Griggs, Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX )
******* Heterophobia is on the rise -- just witness the latest episode by homosexual D.C. council member Jim Graham. Washington Metro board director and practicing Catholic Robert J. Smith appeared on a local cable show as the Republican pointman to discuss gay marriage. Smith commented that as a Roman Catholic he believed homosexual behavior to be deviant in comparison to heterosexual behavior.
******* As an openly gay elected official, Graham demanded Smiths resignation from the transit authority board. Smith refused, explaining that his remarks had nothing to do with his job and were made in public outside of his job. He also reiterated his support for Metros non-discrimination policy and his respect for differing views on homosexuality. Nonetheless, Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich Jr. bowed to Graham and fired Smith because the governor wants inclusiveness and tolerance.
******* In the past, Graham has made intolerant and non-inclusive comments about ex-gays and Catholics, yet unlike Smith, Graham still has his job. For example, in 2003, when he was a chair of the Metro Board, Graham remarked that he found PFOXs subway advertisements urging tolerance for
ex-gays to be offensive and deplorable. What if those same remarks had been made about gays? Do you think Graham would still have his job?
******* To ensure that PFOXs ex-gay ads would no longer appear in the subway systems of our nations capitol, Graham and the Metro Board eliminated free non-profit ad space which had enabled PFOX and other non-profits to place ads. Nonetheless, Graham proposed an amendment to extend the
deadline for free ad space so that two gay activist organizations could take advantage of the free space.
******* In addition to his anti-exgay comments, Jim Graham has also made anti-Catholic remarks in his official role as a D.C. councilmember. In 2000, when the D.C. City Council rejected a conscience clause to exempt Catholic organizations from being forced to purchase health insurance employee plans that covered artificial birth control, Graham lashed out at the Pope and the Washington Archdiocese for practicing the Catholic religion.
******* In a now infamous session of the council meeting, Graham remarked that he had spent years fighting church dogma and called the Roman Catholic church a homophobic church. Bishop William Lori viewed the session as evidence of anti-Catholic bigotry.
******* We know were in trouble when homosexual politicians advocate tolerance and inclusion for their own but cannot respect the views of heterosexuals. Lets remember that heterosexuals, including ex-gays, are also worthy of respect.

**************************************************************************************************************** B10) CHRISTIAN BUSINESS ORDERED TO DUPLICATE HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVIST VIDEOS - Virginia duplicator refused the job, citing Biblical grounds. By Robert Knight
******* From: Robert A. Jason
******* Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2006
******* In a case similar to a Canadian Christian printers punishment for declining a job for a homosexual activist group, an Arlington, Virginia, video duplicator has been ordered by the Arlington County Human Rights Commission to do a job for a lesbian activist.
******* The April 18 order follows a March 9 hearing in which Tim Bono of Bono Film and Video cited constitutional freedom of religion protection in refusing to duplicate two pro-homosexual films for lesbian activist Lillian Vincenz, according to the Family Policy Network (FPN), which is seeking clients for a class-action suit against the county.
******* Bono, a Christian, said he did not want to violate his Biblical values by assisting the promotion of homosexual behavior. Bono Film & Video informs potential customers that the firm does not duplicate material that the firm deems obscene, could embarrass employees, hurt the companys reputation, or that runs counter to the company's Christian and ethical values, Bono told FPN.
******* After Bono rebuffed her request, Vincenz asked Arlington County officials to force Bono to duplicate her videos. The Arlington Human Rights Commission began an investigation and held a public hearing on March 9 to discuss the alleged discrimination.
******* As of April 25, neither Bono nor Vincenz had responded to the commissions order, Raul Torres, executive director of the Human Rights Commission, told Concerned Women for Americas Culture & Family Institute (CFI).
******* If Bono refuses to do the job, after a reasonable amount of time, the commission can reassemble and discuss why the remedy was not done, Torres said. The commission could then forward the case to the full county Board of Commissioners and ask them for permission to file a discrimination complaint in Arlington Circuit Court, he said.
******* The decision found that:
******* Bono Film and Video is a public accommodation as defined by the Arlington County Code.
******* Bono refused to duplicate two documentaries submitted by the Complainant, entitled: Gay and Proud and Second Largest Minority.
******* Bono did not review the content of the documentaries.
******* Bono perceived the Complainant to be gay and to have a gay agenda when he communicated to her that Bono Film and Video do[es] not partake in any gay agenda no matter what the content.
******* Chapter 31 [of Arlington County Code] prohibits discrimination by a public accommodation in the provisions of services on the basis of sexual orientation or perception thereof.
******* The Arlington case is reminiscent of an Ontario human rights panels fining of a Christian printer, Scott Brockie, for his refusal to print materials for the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives.
******* In February 2000, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal ruled that Brockie had violated the ban on sexual orientation discrimination in the Ontario Human Rights Code. He was ordered to pay $5,000 in damages to the president of the Archives and to henceforth print materials for any homosexual individual or group on the same basis as all other clients.
******* Brockie, citing his Christian faith and Canadas guarantee of religious freedom, appealed to the Ontario Divisional Court, but lost in June 2002. By this time, he had already amassed nearly $100,000 in legal fees and decided against further appeal. But the nightmare was not over. The Ontario Human Rights Commission filed an order with the Ontario Court of Appeal demanding that Brockie pay its legal costs. The commission won, leaving Brockie with an additional legal bill of $40,000. The Scott Brockie Defense Fund has been established, and donations can be mailed to: Account #507-721-9, Royal Bank Branch # 3132, 33 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5B 2N5.
******* FPNs Glover told CFI that he is looking for Arlington business people who would be willing to act as anonymous plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Arlington County.
******* The county's involvement in this anti-Christian, pro-homosexual witch-hunt isn't just a crime against one businessman; it's a heavy-handed threat to turn the government against Christians who want to live their lives according to Scripture, Glover said in a press release. Even if they can't win a case like this on the merits, they're out to strike fear in the hearts of Christians who want to live according to their faith.
******* For an overview of the concept of sexual orientation and how it is leading to cases like those of Mssrs. Brockie and Bono, see Robert Knights CFI Special Report Sexual Orientation and American Culture.

########## C) EFFORTS AIMED AT RECONVERTING HOMOSEXUALS ##########
*************************************************************************************************************************
******* C1) BRINGING ACCURATE INFORMATION TO COLLEGE CAMPUSES
******* By John J. McCartney, Jr.
******* A NARTH member describes his bold attempt to reach university students.
******* Much is said these days about the gay activism at our colleges and universities. Recognizing this, a group called Heterosexuals Organized for a Moral Environment, (HOME) was started by Wayne Lela of Downers Grove, Illinois. Wayne recruited friends interested in public-opinion formation to help him do something to counter the promotion of gay activism on college campuses.
******* All of us (and I'm one such friend) have taken to heart Ayn Rand's dictum about the necessity of intellectually challenging the absurd--lest it, by default, become accepted as the norm.
******* Our team sets up an information table on campus, identifying ourselves with a banner reading "The Uncensored Truth About Homosexuality." We proceed to offer material on gay issues, as well as an opportunity for passersby to question us--parrying whatever unfriendly comments which come our way. Surprisingly, our experience has been that faculty members actually outdo students in unfriendliness.
******* HOME goes about getting a campus information table through following a simple procedure. First, we contact the student activities office and request an application for an information table; we submit it, together with specimens of the material we will be offering. Second, we negotiate distribution dates--usually two a year. Third, we appear on the agreed-upon dates and begin answering student questions.
******* Although we have had only a few incidents which I will describe later, we've learned that it's wise to ascertain the location of the security director's office just in case we're assaulted by extreme verbal abuse.
******* If I'm giving the impression that all overtures to the student activities office will result in quick access to the students and faculty, this would be misleading--they won't. At one community college, we were led to believe that we had gained permission, so we set up a table. But upon the complaint of an "offended" student, a male, we were speedily escorted off campus by a security officer.
******* Attempts to clarify our future status on campus were fruitless, so we sought legal counsel from the Rutherford Institute, which advised us to directly challenge that particular college's stonewalling. So we went on campus at the next opportunity, distributed material, were questioned by security officers, and then in ten minutes, were provided with a table. The school's attorney (their resident legal officer) was heard saying, "I know a test when I see one!" This confirmed our belief that unless we forced the issue, we would never be permitted to take part in that college's limited public forum, even though the Constitution guarantees such access.
******* Should any NARTH members want to set up a similar information booth to correct the false notions about homosexuality abounding on college campuses, they should ask for a legal briefing from wither of two institutions: The Rutherford Institute, Box 7482, Charlottesville, VA 22906-7482, or The American Center for Law and Justice, Box 64429, Virginia Beach, VA 23467.
******* Once public institutions allow an information/advocacy speaker access to students, they cannot arbitrarily refuse similar groups. The institutions know this, but they bank on organizations not knowing it. However, when they get a letter from an attorney, they then realize an applicant knows his rights and intends to exercise them. For a most helpful manual offering step-by-step guidance in gaining access to educational institutions, contact Family First, Inc. Box 260131, Littleton, CO 80163, and ask for "A Parent's Manual to the Homosexual Agenda in Public Education." A call to (303) 471-8067 will get the current price and shipping cost.
******* We are often asked, "What type of material do you distribute to stimulate discussion?" As a rule, we have available three pieces: one sheet is devoted to the health risks associated with homosexual behavior. A second deals with causes of homosexuality, life expectancy, domestic violence, and relationship stability. It also addresses income, education, and occupational status of homosexuals, specifically because those three categories form the legal grounds for the addition of new anti-discrimination laws--and we point out that because all of these categories are above the national average, there is no legal basis for singling out homosexuals as a special protected class. We also point out the impact on our culture due to the tragic loss of talented Americans because of the AIDS epidemic. The third piece is NARTH's "Myths" brochure.
******* Most important, we strive to be informative, but not provocative.
******* Have we ad many tense moments? Generally, our reception has been far less hostile than one might expect, although we have had some problems. University faculty and students are usually more hostile than those at community colleges. At one university, a male student showing off for his lesbian friends yanked our cloth, materials, and coffee off our table and then ran off into the crowd.
******* At another state university, Wayne, working alone, was surrounded by not-so-gay activists who destroyed his materials, and verbally harassed him to the point where five campus police officers were required to protect him as he exercised his First Amendment right to free speech in--ironically--the university's Free Speech Zone!
******* At a private (church-sponsored) college outside Chicago, an angry woman who identified herself as a lesbian dumped toilet tissue on our table to symbolize what she thought of our message.
******* At the same church-sponsored school, an elegantly dressed female instructor shouted repeatedly, "You should not be here!" and began circling the ring of potted palms next to our table. While doing so she shouted over and over, "I'm offended, I'm so offended!" Quite an example of professorial gravitas.
******* At one community college we were interviewed by the newspaper's reporters--two young journalism students--who seemed absolutely astonished that political incorrectness should have actually gained admittance to the campus. They followed up their interview with a sharply slanted article which was published in the student newspaper--complete with the obligatory cartoon which likened us to Hitler. This prompted Linda Nicolosi to contact the paper's faculty sponsor; she reminded this professor that he was paid to teach objective reporting, not sophomoric defamation. The unfair and inaccurate references to the NARTH brochures we were distributing, and to reparative therapy in general, fired her righteous anger.
******* Our next visit to the same college showed that the journalism department must have gotten her message: this time, no reporters, no articles, no cartoons.
******* If Wayne and I were to record the crude remarks from students and faculty (many, especially, from faculty) we'd have an interesting collection. Among the uncivil remarks: "Why the hell don't you guys go get laid and quit obsessing about what we're doing?" "Why don't you both get a job instead of hanging around this campus?"
******* We've also had the full range of obscenities directed at our table at times, but everything considered, we have met much less hostility than we expected at the start. Our quixotic spirit hasn't waned in the least!
******* Some further advice: we find community (two-year) colleges more receptive to our message than universities. It seems that intolerance and incivility generally increase in direct proportion to higher education.
******* We always discourage any comments by the rare student who--taking our position to the ugly extreme--voices a "Rev. Fred Phelps attitude," by condemning and insulting homosexually oriented individuals. We make it very clear that we are presenting factual information about behavior and not encouraging hostility toward persons. We mean our critique to be taken in the same spirit of a critique on smoking--we focus on the behavior, not the individual, by pointing out the toll it takes in health and lives. They are not smoker-bashing, and we are not gay-bashing.
******* Those who would like to set up a college information table will experience some trepidation and, inevitably, frustration--but they should keep in mind that their very presence, as well as the truth they offer, can actually break the spell cast over our nation's younger generation by the incessant gay-activist propaganda of misrepresentation and half-truths. Breaking the one-sided stranglehold on information is a great service to both students and faculty--particularly to those young men and women struggling with same-sex attraction--and for those who are open to listening, the information we offer benefits body, mind, and spirit.
******* Those desiring more information should contact HOME, P. O. Box 711, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
