(A4a1b) indoctrination of secondary school students

Secondary school students have historically been the main focus of the social engineers who, with significant success, have attempted to corrupt children. Since they have failed to sufficiently indoctrinate the majority of children and their parents they think if they start earlier their efforts will be more successful. They therefore are now directing their efforts towards elementary and kindergarten students. ******* As of this date, 07-02-26, this folder contains 12 items. ******* item 1 ANALYSIS OF A "WORLD AIDS DAY POSTER" ******* item 2 "GAY" CLUB FAILS TO DESTROY CHRISTIAN CLUB ******* item 3 CALIFORNIA TEENAGE MODEL WINS FIGHT WITH HIGH SCHOOL OVER PRO-LIFE STATEMENT ******* item 4 WHEN SEX EDUCATION BECOMES PORNOGRAPHY 101 ******* item 5 TEACHER HAS KIDS TASTING FLAVORED CONDOMS ******* item 6 VIEW HOMOSEXUAL FILM OR SCHOOL FACE LAWSUIT ******* item 7 HOMOSEXUALS' DAY OF SILENCE ******* item 8 THE SODOMITE INDOCTRINATION OF OUR CHILDREN ******* item 9 CONDOMS FEEDING THE AIDS CRISIS ******* item 10 BANG BANG'S SAFE CHOICE ******* item 11 STEALTH SCHOOLS - FROM TOLERANCE TO AFFIRMATION ******* item 12 YES, THERE IS A GAY AGENDA FOR YOUTH ********************************************************************************************************* ******* item 1 ANALYSIS OF A "WORLD AIDS DAY POSTER" ******* The main feature of this poster is the word AiDS. The letters A,D,and S are capitalized and lying flat. The i is lower case and upright, and is depicted with a condom over it. This poster was displayed in secondary schools in the lower mainland of British Columbia. It is extremely offensive to Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews and sensitive children. ............................................................................................................................................. WHAT DOES THIS POSTER SAY TO STUDENTS? The simple answer is: If you're going to engage in homosexual sex, use a condom. Putting the poster in context, there's a more subtle message: there's no indication of censure against homosexual sex, and since it's posted in public schoolS, obviously not objected to by teachers, engaging in homosexual sex probably isn't wrong. Historically, however, this behaviour has been censured by every religion represented at the birth of Canada as a nation. ........................................................................................................................................ WHAT IS THE BASIS FOR THIS POSTER? The basic assumption appears to be that homosexual sex constitutes an amoral act. One of the misleading, if not entirely false statements perpetrated here is that the physical consequences of homosexual sex can be avoided by condom use. ......................................................................................................................................... WHY IS THIS POSTER NOT TELLING THE TRUTH? The poster denies the fact that people are both spiritual and physical beings, it denies a truth recognized by Canada since its beginning. It denies the fact that when we break spiritual laws there are destructive consequences to the soul, and eventually to the body. The poster attempts to avoid consequences and at the same time refuses to deal with causes. The scientific evidence shows conclusively that homosexual sex is the primary cause of the AIDS epidemic. ......................................................................................................................................... WHY PARENTS DON'T OBJECT TO THIS POSTER ******* 1)Most parents don't know about it, and even if they did they probably wouldn't take the time to analyze it. ******* 2)Homosexual activists portray themselves as victims and portray criticism of their sexual behaviour as discrimination against homosexual persons. Parents may not approve of homosexual sex, but do not want to be labeled as intolerant of people. ******* 3)Dr. Paul Cameron, an AIDS researcher at the Washington Family Research Institute, says that AIDS activists have capitalized on public fear to democratize the disease. He says that what is essentially a disease contained within the homosexual and drug user communities has been portrayed as everyone's disease. That portrayal, says Dr. Cameron, has enabled the homosexual community to continue promoting its risky life-style without objection. ......................................................................................................................................... SEDUCTION BY A FALSE PROMISE As already mentioned, the poster's main feature is the word AiDS, with the letters A, D and S capitalized and the i in lower case and depicted as being covered with a condom. This is unnecessarily graphic and the attempt at being cute is an offence against the dignity of the people who see it. The capital letters are lying flat while the i is vertical. The message of course is that condom use will prevent the spread of AIDS. This is extremely misleading. Regular condom use during sodomy delays the onset of AIDS by an average of about 2 years. ......................................................................................................................................... WHY IS THIS POSTER AN ATTACK ON THE BELIEF IN GOD? God has made certain spiritual and physical laws for our benefit. When these are obeyed good things happen. When they are broken destructive consequences take place. Christian belief maintains that Sodom and Gomorrah suffered destruction for the acceptance of sodomy as a direct act of God. The erect, ejaculating condomized penis depicted in the poster is a symbol of defiance against God. The defiance of God is futile and will therefore be re-directed at those who defend God's laws. In 1987 members of the violent homosexual group ACT UP went into Catholic Churches shouting obscenities, threw consecrated hosts on the floor, and then stomped and spat on them. The anger of homosexuals is also directed at other homosexuals, for those who turn against God eventually turn against each other. A case in point is Gaetan Dugas who is reported to have deliberately infected over one thousand homosexuals with AIDS. Are British Columbia's Secondary Schools being used as instruments of destruction? By allowing this poster, with its misleading message, to be displayed in schools, teachers and administrators are allowing the promotion of the practice of homosexual sex. This perversion is spiritually, emotionally and physically destructive to those who practice it. The encouragement to this life-style choice in public schools is an affront to the dignity of students and a denial of the belief system of the majority of their families. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** ******* item 2 "GAY" CLUB FAILS TO DESTROY CHRISTIAN CLUB ******* Date: Fri, 12 Apr 2002 From: [email protected] ******* A controversy, which has been brewing over the past few months at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, between gay rights supporters and the Pioneers for Christ student club, came to a head this past Wednesday night during an emotion-filled meeting of the Ann Arbor School Board. At this meeting, gay rights activists demanded that the Board take action against the Christian club for not adopting a so-called "non-discrimination" policy as part of its mission statement. ******* Robert Muise, associate counsel with the Thomas More Law Center, addressed the Board during this meeting and pledged the support of the Center to protect the rights of this Christian club. Said Muise, "Pioneers for Christ is being singled out simply because its members do not support the agenda of gay rights activists. Presently at Pioneer High School there are faculty members and administrators who desire to promote their personal political agenda at the expense of students'constitutional and federal statutory rights." Muise reminded the school board that "the U.S. Constitution and the Equal Access Act . . protect Pioneers for Christ from such blatant and discriminatory attacks from gay activists." ******* Earlier this year, Pioneer High School officials demanded that Pioneers for Christ adopt its so-called "non-discrimination" policy as part of the club's mission statement. This policy would force Pioneers for Christ to accept members who are not committed to its cause or adherents to the Christian faith. Moreover, this policy would prohibit its members from expressing and promoting their Christian view toward various issues, including homosexuality, thereby affecting the content of the members'speech. ******* More recently, during the so-called "Diversity Week" held at Pioneer High School, students were not allowed to express their Christian view of homosexuality during a panel discussion that the school sponsored for the purpose of discussing religion and homosexuality. The Gay Straight Alliance student club, with the support of school officials, monopolized this discussion by presenting only the view of several adults who claimed to be clergy of denominations that support the homosexual lifestyle. School officials prevented any other view to be expressed during this event, which occurred during the school day. But to Samantha Gallardo, a model in the Los Angeles area and a senior at Littlerock High School in Littlerock, California, the clothes she wore became a constitutional issue. Samantha, an ardent believer that abortion is the intentional killing of unborn children, was told by a school official that she could no longer wear shirts to school with pro-life messages such as "Abortion is Killing", "Abortion is Wrong", and "I'm Pro-Life". Samantha sought the assistance of the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Law Center attorneys sent a letter to the school district explaining Samantha's constitutional right to advance her pro-life views at school and demanded that she be permitted to wear her pro-life clothing. As a result of the efforts of the Thomas More Law Center, Samantha has resumed wearing her pro-life clothing to school. "Expressing my pro-life views are important to me", said Samantha. "I'm glad I took the steps I did to ensure that I can freely wear my pro-life shirts to school. I make the pro-life shirts myself and distribute them to other students who are wearing them to school without any problems from the school." Samantha's senior project deals with the meaning of being pro-life. She and her sister have even written a pro-life song and Samantha plans to sing it at the school's talent show. =================================================== The Thomas More Law Center is a national, not for profit, public-interest law firm and educational organization dedicated to the defense and promotion of the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life. No, its not for the kids. Its for parents, and they have to answer only one question: Do you know what your children are learning in sex-education classes? If youre like most parents, the answer is no. But if the program is billed as abstinence-based, you probably dont feel particularly concerned. The important thing, as far as youre concerned, is that your kids are being taught to say no to sex. ******* But are they? The fact is, nearly all of the government-funded abstinence-based or abstinence-plus programs delivered in schools nationwide contain little, if any, reference to abstinence. They may mention it briefly, but its often presented as something that (wink, wink) kids in the real world will ignore. ******* Far worse, though, is what abstinence-plus programs do contain: explicit demonstrations of contraceptive use -- especially condoms -- and direct encouragement to experiment sexually. ******* This despite the fact that parents consistently say they dont want their children to be exposed to such messages. A recent Zogby poll found that three out of every four parents disapproved or strongly disapproved of abstinence-plus curricula. About the same number say they want their children to receive an authentic abstinence education. ******* More likely, though, their children are being exposed to programs such as Focus on Kids (which, like other abstinence-plus programs, is heavily promoted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Kids are told, among other things, to go on a condom hunt to local stores to survey the various types of family planning methods and ask: Whats the cheapest price for three condoms? ******* Focus on Kids also has teachers stage condom races between teams of students. (Warning: Explicit language ahead.) Each person on the team must put the condom on the dildo or cucumber and take it off, the program says. The team that finishes first wins. But intercourse isnt the only topic on the agenda. Teachers are told to have the kids brainstorm ways to be close. The list may include body massage, bathing together, masturbation, sensuous feeding, fantasizing, watching erotic movies, reading erotic books and magazines ******* Unfortunately, Focus on Kids isnt the only program that takes such an approach. In Becoming a Responsible Teen, or B.A.R.T., kids get an education not only in condoms but in lubricants: If you were trying to find something around the house, or at a convenience store, to use as a [lubricant] substitute, what would be safe? Why? Some grocery store lubricants are safe to use if they do not contain oil: grape jelly, maple syrup and honey. ******* Then theres the ironically named Be Proud! Be Responsible! program, which lists several ways teachers can show kids as young as 13 how to make condoms fun and pleasurable. For example, once you and a partner agree to use condoms go to the store together. Buy lots of different brands and colors. Plan a special day when you can experiment. Just talking about how youll use all of those condoms can be a turn-on. ******* And who knows where youll be when the mood strikes? Perhaps thats why the CDC-approved Reducing the Risk program advises teachers to tell kids, while theyre shopping for condoms, to put down the stores hours, too, because it may be important to know where to get protection at some odd hours. There are also family-planning clinics, of course: Students who might worry about what Mom and Dad think are told, you do not need a parents permission no one needs to know that you are going to a clinic. ******* It helps to engage in some role playing, too, according to the Be Proud! Be Responsible! program. Two females, Tyceia and Felicia, are told to begin negotiating safer sex together. Theyve been sexually active with males in the past, but now they can accept their bisexuality. Male students arent excluded: Gerald is told that Allen has never used condoms. You want to have sex with him, but not without using condoms. ******* Its bad enough that these sex-ed programs hide under an abstinence-plus label while completely undermining what most parents want for their children. But when they encourage indiscriminate condom use and sexual experimentation, theyre sending kids a troubling message -- that we expect them to be sexually active and approve of it, provided its safe. And its all billed to you, the taxpayer. "There was no wrongdoing. I have no more comment. ... The year-long litigation strained relations in the conservative northeast portion of the state. In addition to allowing the group to meet on campus after school, district officials agreed that all students, staff and teachers would be required to receive "tolerance training." ******* The agreement stipulated all would attend "mandatory anti-harassment workshops," including the viewing of an hour-long "training" video covering sexual orientation and gender identity issues for middle and high school students. ******* But ten months on, one-third of Boyd County students have failed to see the video, and that has the ACLU threatening court action. ******* "It sounds like the training can't possibly be done," James Esseks, litigation director for the ACLU's Lesbian and Gay Rights Project, tells the Louisville Courier-Journal. ******* District figures show 105 of 730 middle school students opted out of the training video and 145 of 971 high school students did likewise. On the day scheduled for training, 324 students didn't show up for school. ******* The current legal snag arises from the fact the original consent decree had no provision for parents exempting their children. ******* "The schools have great latitude in what they want to teach, including what's in training programs, and the training is now part of the school curriculum," Esseks says. "Parents don't get to say I don't want you to teach evolution or this, that or whatever else. If parents don't like it they can homeschool, they can go to a private school, they can go to a religious school." ******* "Where are the parental rights in this whole thing?" asks Rev. Tim York, president of the Boyd County Ministerial Alliance and head of Defenders Voice, a community group formed to contest the decree. ******* According to the group's website, Defenders Voice "incorporated due to the need for protection of both the physical and mental health of our students and citizens." Its members place blame for their current distress squarely on the ACLU: ******* "We have seen an onslaught of aggressive homosexual activism sweep across our country. In many cases, these activists are supported by the ACLU in their attempts. ... Defenders Voice believes that an organization like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) should not be allowed to tell parents what their children must learn." ******* The Alliance Defense Fund, a religious-liberties public-interest legal group, has signed on to help Defenders Voice, pledging to sue the school district unless it adopts an opt-out policy for parents this week. Alliance was formed in 1993 with the guidance of several well-known Christian conservatives, including the late Dr. Bill Bright, the late Larry Burkett, Dr. James Dobson, Dr. D. James Kennedy, and the late Marlin Maddoux. ******* Joe Platt, a Cincinnati attorney representing Alliance, says mandatory training on tolerance for homosexuals violates the right of conscience of parents and students who believe such behavior immoral. ******* But school district attorney, Winter Huff, insists to the Courier-Journal the decree does not violate parental rights: "Students certainly have the right to believe in what they want to believe, but they don't have the right to act out in inappropriate ways. The point is you don't treat people disrespectfully, you don't pick on people, you don't bully them, you don't make them afraid to come to school." ******* Meanwhile, only one of the seven plaintiffs in the 2003 lawsuit still remain in school. Six have graduated, and the teacher-adviser for the Gay-Straight Alliance club asked to transfer to another campus. ******* The ACLU's Esseks is now questioning whether the mandatory video meets the decree's required hour of anti-harassment training. Like one-third of the students in Boyd County schools, he has yet to view it. *********************************************************************************************************************** ******* item 7 HOMOSEXUALS' DAY OF SILENCE ******* Date: Tue, 12 Apr 2005 ******* From: "Mission America" ******* Sounding the Alarm: Gay Agenda Promoted in Schools on Day of Silence ******* CEAI (Christian Educators Association International) PRESS RELEASE ******* CONTACT: Mr. Finn Laursen, Executive Director of Christian Educators, 440-667-4548, [email protected] ******* Im sounding the alarm. Parents and teachers need to be warned about the latest attempt to use schools as a platform to promote the homosexual lifestyle, says Finn Laursen, Executive Director of Christian Educators Association International. ******* Students across the nation have been urged by GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network) to participate in a Day of Silence on Wednesday, April 13. A list of those schools at which students are registered to participate can be found at http://www.dayofsilence.org/about/participants.php. ******* GLSEN urges students to disrupt the schooling process with a visible silence, a silence during which participants protest anti-LGBT discrimination and abuse. According to GLSEN, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students and their allies are discriminated against and abused in schools everywhere. ******* This is the gay rights movement manipulating our children, who are a captive audience in public schools, says Laursen. Ive spent my entire adult life as a public school educator, and I have never witnessed discriminatory behavior of the kind GLSEN claims is rampant. ******* Having talked with numerous school administrators concerned about how to respond to potentially disruptive behavior by some students, I have some suggestions for how to handle the controversy, says Laursen. ******* Do not give them the attention they are trying to get. Go on with whatever learning experience was scheduled, and unless the protesters are disruptive, ignore them. If protesters refuse to participate in class and participation grades are usually given, do not make an exception; experiencing the natural consequences of behavior is a good learning moment. Last but not least, a protester who go beyond silence to insubordination should be held accountable and receive the same consequences as any other student exhibiting negative behavior. ******* Id also suggest that students ignore those classmates that have bought into GLSENs agenda, even if the protesters are disruptive, says Laursen. I would remind Christian students to treat all students kindly, with the love of Christ. ******* In response to the Day of Silence, the Alliance Defense Fund is promoting The Day of Truth, a non disruptive activity promoting the Christian perspective. Details can be found at http://www.alliancedefensefund.org. The day after the Day Of Silence, April 14, students are encouraged to wear T-shirts and pass out cards (not during class time) with the following message: ******* I am speaking the Truth to break the silence. I believe in equal treatment for all, and not special rights for a few. I believe in loving my neighbor, but part of that love means not condoning detrimental personal and social behavior. I believe that by boldly proclaiming the Truth, hurts will be halted, hearts will be healed, and lives will be saved. ******* If special interest groups continue to push the homosexual agenda on impressionable youth, we must be sure the whole truth is told, says Laursen. ******* ### Christian Educators Association International, founded in 1953, is the foremost public school association for Christian educators serving in public and private schools. ---------------------- Mail service for Mission America provided by American Family Online www.afo.net ******* Mission America www.missionamerica.com ********************************************************************************************************* ******* item 8 THE SODOMITE INDOCTRINATION OF OUR CHILDREN- Will the rainbow bus take our kids to the land of perversity masking as diversity? http://www.afajournal.org/2004/october/1004schoolsout.asp ******* From: [email protected] via [email protected] ******* Date: Tue, 7 Dec 2004 ******* By Ed Vitagliano | AFA Journal News Editor ******* Transvestite teachers. Boys kissing boys in restrooms. Teens taught about anal sex. "Gay" fairy tales for children. ******* Could these things actually become a reality in our public schools? The speed of change in our society thus far, driven by resolute homosexual activists, indicates that the answer is most assuredly yes. ******* In case some people think such projections about the future are a hunk of homophobic hooey, they might want to consider the fact that, in some parts of the country, these things are already happening. ******* So what changes can be expected, and what would life in our public schools be like if homosexual activists win the culture war? The following are predictions based on current trends. ******* Entrenchment of "gay" viewpoint ******* For more than three decades, activists have been demanding that the public school system be enlisted as a primary engine in the effort to normalize homosexuality. ******* In their 1972 Gay Rights Platform, activists meeting in Chicago, Illinois, demanded "[f]ederal encouragement and support for sex education courses, prepared and taught by gay women and men, presenting homosexuality as a valid, healthy preference and lifestyle as a viable alternative to heterosexuality." ******* Similarly, in their 1993 March on Washington, D.C., activists demanded that such radical instruction be taught on "all levels of education" — federal, state and local, grades K-12. ******* Support for the homosexual agenda is already solid throughout the professional education organizations, such as the National Education Association, American Federation of Teachers, American Association of School Administrators, and the National Association of School Psychologists. ******* The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has also made it clear that it supports the normalization of homosexuality within the public school system. In 1999, for example, National PTA President Ginny Markell said her organization would be making available the video That’s a Family!, which embraces same-sex families, as part of a nationwide effort to fight discrimination against homosexuals. ******* At its 2004 conference in Anaheim, California, the National PTA partnered with Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), a pro-homosexual group, to cooperatively present a workshop that instructed educators about how to promote homosexuality in public schools. ******* Across the nation, outside homosexual pressure groups are constantly pushing schools to create an environment in which the "gay" lifestyle is celebrated. ******* Perhaps the most effective of these groups, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), says it has almost 70 chapters throughout the nation. The group claims on its Web site that, by the end of the 2002-2003 school year, 1,864 student clubs — called "Gay-Straight Alliances" — had registered with GLSEN. ******* Other projects, such as the controversial videos It’s Elementary and That’s a Family!, have been instrumental in instructing public school administrators and faculty how to teach children of all ages about homosexuality. It’s Elementary, for example, has been acquired by nearly two thousand educational institutions across the country. ******* As sympathy for the homosexual agenda becomes embedded in the nation’s public school systems, the changes promise to be dramatic. Linda Harvey of Mission America, a pro-family group, predicts that: "School literature will be adapted to reflect a positive view of the homosexual family as a future option for every child. Josh will learn that he can grow up and marry a girl or a boy. And since at age six he probably hasn’t yet discovered his sexual ‘identity,’ the fair thing will be to present all angles to him in language, health, music and social studies." ******* Opposition will be squelched ******* If the celebration of homosexuality is one side of the public school coin, the other side will be the denigration of opposing views. And when those contrary views are rooted in Christian beliefs, the antagonism that arises from "gay" sympathizers will be even more vigorous. ******* For example, at Arcata High School in Arcata, California, Christian students in that public school were ridiculed for their beliefs about homosexuality in a sex education lesson. Led by a representative of Planned Parenthood, students were told to stand in a circle and were asked, "Do you have a religious belief about homosexuality that considers it a sin and wrong?" Those who did were told they had to remain alone in the circle. ******* The representative admitted that "the children who answered "yes" had to stay in the circle. This caused them to feel very demeaned, put down." ******* In St. Paul, Minnesota, 16-year-old Elliott Chambers was ordered by his principal to stop wearing a sweatshirt that simply said "Straight Pride" on the front, and contained the image of a man and woman holding hands on the back. ******* And during a planned, day-long protest by homosexual students in Boone, North Carolina, three Christian high school students were suspended by the principal because they refused to change their "offensive" T-shirts. The objectionable message? The trio's shirts bore Biblical messages about homosexuality and salvation. ******* In some schools, where students have been steadily fed homosexual propaganda for years, it is sometimes classmates, and not school officials, who assume the role of persecutors. One woman, whose family had moved from the South to New Hampshire, said her boys were shocked at how they were received. ******* "My 16-year-old son had to deal with unwanted advances from other male students," she said. When she approached school officials to try to put a stop to the harassment by homosexuals, they refused. "[W]hat happened was the students found out that my 16- and 17-year-old boys were against homosexuality so they were taunted constantly and treated as if they were gay." ******* Homosexual techniques will be taught to students ******* When homosexuality is accepted in principle, the sexual activities associated with it will be included in public school sex education classes. Frightening stories are already arising that give a chilling glimpse into what would be in store for public school children. ******* In 2000, the Boston affiliate of GLSEN co-sponsored a conference which gave explicit "gay" sex lessons to kids as young as 14, and then tried to keep that information from reaching parents. The event, held at Tufts University, was funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Lecturers explained to participants about different homosexual practices, including "fisting," the homosexual practice of inserting one's fist and forearm into the anus of another man. ******* In Vermont another "gay" group, called Outright Vermont, has been pushing the homosexual agenda in schools, also at taxpayer expense. According to its own documents, Outright Vermont has used taxpayer money to provide "safer sex activities" and "parties" for teens, including "demonstrations, guided practice and skill evaluation" for the use of prophylactics, and the distribution of free condoms, lubricants for sexual intercourse between males, "dental dams" for oral sex between lesbians, and latex gloves for mutual masturbation between homosexual teenagers. In 2000 alone, the number of such items requested by Outright Vermont for distribution to teens was scandalous: 5,000 condoms, 750 dental dams, 750 latex gloves, and 2,000 packets of lubricant. ******* Sometimes the legitimization of homosexual activity is done in a roundabout way. Harvey says that "both GLSEN and PFLAG advocate book selections for youth that include positive portrayals of homosexual sex between boys, pornography use, cheating on a spouse with a homosexual lover, homosexual sex between underage youth and adults, and straight and "gay" experimentation by "uncertain" youth." ******* Acceptance of "transgenders" ******* Activists argue that human sexuality is so fluid as to encompass all conceivable orientations: heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, and even people who attempt the alteration of gender appearance. ******* This latter group consists of "trans-gendered" individuals, men and women who believe that their biological sex does not accurately reflect what they perceive their gender to be. Some, called transsexuals, have sex-change operations, while others maintain their biological sex and merely "cross-dress." ******* Such gender-bending concepts are already causing chaos in some public schools. In Missouri last year, the Francis Howell Board of Education rejected complaints from parents when the cross-dressing parent of a fourth-grade student chaperoned school field trips. In Brockton, Massachusetts, a 15-year-old male student demanded the right to come to school dressed like a girl, and school officials capitulated. ******* Meanwhile, in 1998 students at Southwest High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, were forced to accept librarian David Nielsen's transition into "Debra Davis," after he began wearing woman's clothes to school and identified himself as a woman. ******* Alarmingly, in that case the school sent a letter home with students that defended its decision to embrace Nielsen's cross-dressing. "We believe [students] will be more enriched and have a better understanding of diversity by knowing and working with this employee," the letter said. ******* According to the Evangelical News Service, Southwest High School even presented to students "educational sessions" on transgenderism. ******* Nielsen also upset some teachers when he began using the women's faculty restroom. Both the school administration and, eventually, a federal court, rebuffed the complaints of female teachers. ******* Groups like GLSEN, PFLAG and the largest homosexual lobby group, the Human Rights Campaign, all support changes in law which would include the full acceptance of transgendered students right along with those who define themselves as "gay," lesbian or bisexual. ******* If these demands are fully embraced, the prospect of gender chaos in schools will be assured. ******* Conclusion ******* For more than 30 years, homosexual activists have been demanding that our Judeo-Christian culture capitulate and embrace their view of human sexuality, marriage and family. If Americans ever accept these demands, they can expect to live in a culture that will be turned upside down, literally unhinged from the sane moorings instituted by the God of heaven. ******* Harvey's prediction is of a grotesque culture that includes: "Lesbian bride dolls. Fourth grade "gay" clubs. A king and king at the high school prom. Dating tips for same-sex teens. Bathroom ogling and sometimes quick encounters in the middle school boys' restroom." ******* Fortunately, while the groundwork for these changes has been laid, it is not yet a done deal. But Americans who believe there is something inherently abnormal, unnatural and immoral about homosexuality had better stand up right now. ******* If the public schools are lost to homosexual activists, our children and grandchildren will be thrown into a queer new world. And there's nothing gay about that. ********************************************************************************************************* ******* item 9 CONDOMS FEEDING THE AIDS CRISIS ******* from Robert A. Jason ******* Condom maker trying to market to young people by using the language of hip hop culture ******* The AIDS conference in Toronto this summer confirmed what Wayne Royes has known for the past year -- that AIDS is increasing at an alarming rate in Ontario. ******* "During the conference, I read an article that said AIDS had increased in Ontario by 30% since 1999 and the bulk of that was in Toronto," said Royes. "I wasn't surprised by that figure because I had been doing research into the safe sex practices of young people in this country. What surprised me during my research was the rise of sexual transmitted diseases (STDs) other than AIDS." ******* Royes was doing research for a new business idea he came up with last Christmas. The numbers he came across were staggering. In 2003, 854,817 people aged 15-49 reported being found to have an STD. ******* The most commonly reported STD is Chlamydia, with close to 63,000 cases reported in 2004, the highest number since the disease became reportable in 1990. And two-thirds of all reported cases are in the 15-24 age group. ******* Gonorrhea is the second-most-reported STD in Canada with reported cases nearly doubling from 14.9 per 100,000 in 1997 to 28.9 per 100,000 in 2004. And syphillis affects 3.5 people per 100,000, nearly nine times the rate in 1997. ******* "One of the biggest factors leading to the increase in AIDS and other STDs is unsafe sex practices," Royes said. "The message needs to be reinforced that safe sex is a must, especially to young people who are a major reason why STDs are on the rise." ******* In an effort to get the message out, Royes and a silent partner started Urban Dreams. The company was created this year as a vehicle to inform people about the AIDS pandemic and the rise in other STDs. ******* To help them with the mission, Royes and his partner launched Bang Bang Condoms in October. It's a line of condoms and marketed to 18-34-year-olds. ******* "For some reason the safe-sex message isn't sinking in with many young people," said Royes, whose age falls into the demographics his company is targeting. "A lot of young people either don't think AIDS is a threat to them, or they're being careless. I think a lot of it also has to do with the way the message is being delivered to young people. Too much of it is medical jargon and not in the language of youths. ******* "Nelson Mandela once said if you speak to a person in the language they understand it goes to their head, if you speak in their language it goes to their heart. I believe I can speak to young people in their language." ******* Royes believes that language is found in hip-hop and popular culture, the music and lifestyle he grew up with while living in Ontario Housing. ******* "Hip-hop and urban music are the popular music of this generation," said Royes, who says Bang Bang Condoms is Canada's first line of condoms marketed towards hip-hop and popular culture. "It's the soundtrack of the lives of many of the young people we're trying to target. White, Black, Chinese, you name it -- if they're young they're probably listening to hip-hop or are consumed by pop culture. We have more of an understanding of the psyche of these youth and their values because we come from that environment and still reside there." ******* Royes plans to speak about STDs and HIV/AIDS at schools in the new year. And he says a variety of health organizations, including Toronto Public Health, are interested in what his company is doing in terms of AIDS education. ******* "My ultimate goal is to save lives," says Royes. "We're encouraging young people to go get tested. And we want to stress that AIDS and other STDs are preventable diseases if people get the knowledge and information to protect themselves." ******* See my blog at: http://dispel-the-illusion.blogspot.com/ ********************************************************************************************************* ******* item 11 STEALTH SCHOOLS - FROM TOLERANCE TO AFFIRMATION - One School's Experience with a Gay-Affirmative Program ******* From: "PFOX" ******* Date: 4 Mar 2003A concerned teacher, who wishes to remain anonymous, describes the quiet beginnings of his school's Project 10 program ******* BACKGROUND The high school where I teach is an upper-middle-class suburban school near a major metropolitan area, with parents who are deeply involved in the education of their children. The school hires top-notch teachers, and has been recognized many times for excellence in education. ******* Although the majority faith among the families is Christian, many other faiths are represented, and the children are trained to appreciate religious differences. ******* Previously, the school had never been known for gay and lesbian activity, and most teachers seemed to be either indifferent to, or hostile to, a gay agenda. ******* THE BEGINNING: SCHOOL SAFETY ******* Gay agitation began during the 1992-93 school year. A group of teachers, led by a dedicated gay and lesbian promoter, banded together to discuss a problem. The teachers were told that gay students were being discriminated against--harassed, beaten up, and called names within the confines of the school. Although these incidents, whether real or created, would normally be handled by the dean's office, it was resolved that because the target of these incidents was gay students, more intense efforts needed to be made. ******* The group was officially formed, taking a generic name that would not display its function--even though it resolved specifically to work to fight gay harassment and discrimination. ******* NOTE THE PATTERN: ******* 1. The existence of a dedicated activist on school grounds. The leader of the group was gay, and extremely dedicated to bringing the gay agenda to the school. ******* 2. The group charter was created to be as non-threatening as and general possible. No students would be involved. Teachers were simply to be informed about it, and not coerced into joining. ******* 3. The goals of the charter were to focus on "safety" and "sexual harassment" issues, not the affirmation of homosexuality. After all, no teacher, administrator, or parent can argue with the idea that schools should be as safe as possible for all children. ******* 4. No record of the group's initial activities was made available, because the group was not officially recognized. ******* EARLY DEVELOPMENT ******* The group's scope soon began to expand. Sexually confused students were quietly made aware of the group's presence. More teachers were urged to join, and soon over 50 had officially become members. Meeting agendas were usually set by a core group of 10 to 15 teachers. The goals of the group--which had originally focused on "making schools safe for all children," soon shifted to "tolerance." Teachers were made aware that tolerance was an important quality to model; one did not have to agree with gay-activist philosophy, just tolerate the existence of gay persons. ******* Opposition to this group was not organized; rather, individual teachers who made their concerns known were reassured that the group's goals were very limited. The group became more and more public; mailings were sent out to the teachers--and teachers who were not receptive to gay issues were informed that students felt "threatened" by their behavior. ******* Next, a "home page" was created for the group. Some teachers actively taught "tolerance" from the pulpit of the classroom, and began to incorporate gay and lesbian themes into their lessons. Rainbow signs--the symbol of diversity--appeared in classrooms to let students know that those classrooms were "safe" places to be. ******* IN SUMMARY ******* 1. Once the gay and lesbian agenda establishes itself in a district, that agenda starts to expand. It is typically first introduced under the philosophy of "making schools safe." ******* 2. Gay and lesbian activists choose words and phrases which make their agenda sound innocuous. Teachers are taught to respect diversity, but this respect is used by the activists to further a larger agenda. Teachers who oppose the group are labeled intolerant and warned of the fear and bigotry they are spreading among their students. ******* 3. There is covert spreading of rainbow symbols throughout the school. The symbols are said to stand for the broader issue of respect for diversity. ******* 4. Information about the group is quietly passed to students; soon the whole school is aware that a "pro-gay" group exists among the teachers. ******* 5. Since the group is not recognized by the school, it is impossible for parents to influence it, or ask for its closure. ******* 6. Although not official, the group gains credibility through each successive mailing, meeting, and forum. ******* Soon, students confused about their sexual identity begin to come out publicly, becoming activists themselves. Gay pride symbols appear on the student TV station. One boy enters the school talent show dressed in drag as Madonna; two young boys, and two girls, make public the fact that they are going to the prom "as a foursome." The idea soon grows that it is "cool," "different," and "chic" to be gay. Because the students are perceived as the initiators of these actions, there is no administrative censure. ******* Activist teachers become more public in their attempts to pass on the tenets of gay activism. Students are by now required to read books that have explicit gay and lesbian stories, and they are humiliated in class if they express any reservations about homosexuality. The administration, sensing that this has become an issue, now decides to include the gay group among the school's official organizations--listing it along with other support groups for issues of divorce, alcoholism and pregnancy. A gay-activist teacher is made the head, aided by a sympathetic social worker from Project 10. Parents are not contacted if their child enters the Project 10 group. The group's social worker now states that he believes that sexual identity is not an issue that has anything to do with values. ******* At a meeting of a student's discussion club, the leader of the gay activist group makes several announcements: ### The rainbow signs that had appeared throughout the school were not just "respect diversity" signs; they were actually gay pride signs. (Every counselor, by that time, already had one in his office.) ### "Tolerance" was not the goal, after all, because "tolerance" implies that there is something wrong with being gay, and of course there is not. ### Gay rights are said to be in the same category as civil rights for ethnic minorities; therefore in the future, the school will offer gay-affirmative curricula. ### The name of the support group is now "Project 10," referring to the "fact" that 10% of the population is gay. ******* As of this writing, there still is no organized opposition to Project 10 among staff members, and no group has formed among parents to oppose this agenda. From its quiet beginnings as a non-sanctioned gathering concerned with "safety," the group has now become a fully sanctioned, gay-pride organization. ******* Gay is now officially okay, according to the administration. These same activists are now moving on to other area schools, working to initiate similar programs. ******* Copyright NARTH. Four days later, I read two newspaper articles, one about the SOS seminar A Homosexual Agenda for Schools? and another, SOHR spokesman: There is no gay agenda. The SOS seminar headline had a question mark inserted at the end, obviously displaying the newspapers bias against the validity of the seminar, while the SOHRs press conference headline was left as a definitive statement. This clearly displays Detroit Lakes Newspapers blatant disregard for objectivity. ******* I would like to first point out that the SOS seminar contained no hate, and no homophobia. The SOS seminar focused on keeping students out of sexual confusion, and no hatred whatsoever was displayed or voiced. Homophobia is another issue. Since the pro-homosexual community seems so fond of the word, I will make mention of it. A phobia is a persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear. I fail to understand why, if I do not support homosexuality, and I disagree with it, I am labeled homophobic. ******* Perhaps, though, we ought to coin a new term: Heterophobia. Pro-heterosexuals who stand up for what they believe in are constantly under attack by the pro-homosexual community; they are labeled hateful and homophobic for simply stating an opposing viewpoint. If theres such a craze about no name calling, how about stopping the buck here? ******* Also, SOHR may claim to not [espouse] a gay agenda to recruit young people to the homosexual cause, but that is the goal of the homosexual movement in general. Gerald Hannon, in his book Lavender Culture, stated we do not have organizations that are chock-a-block full of young people To attract young people to the gay movement should be the challenge to the next phase of the movement. ******* Terry Hagenson stated that there were some positives in the message of the SOS seminar, but they were only half truths. Just what exactly are the half truths? Is it a half truth that pro-homosexual clubs, coming out clubs are widely encouraged while groups such as Eagles Wings (that serve to counsel homosexuals who wish to become heterosexual), are ignored or put down? ******* Is it a half truth that District 202s brochure claims District 202 (pro-homosexual group) is about MTV after school and free condoms among other things? MTV promotes sex, nudity, and I could quote a summary of the second episode from the first season of MTVs show, Undressed, but frankly, Id rather not expose young readers eyes to such lewdness, filth and utter disregard for morality, values and tact. ******* And about the free condoms, it should be known that safe sex is a joke, and abstinence, (despite what the media and society today says against it) is totally possible. Abstaining from pre-marital sex does no harm whatsoever to teenagers, and if people would encourage, and even expect that teenagers abstain from sex (and be encouraging and supportive); if adults would get off the safe sex line long enough to realize that we (teenagers) are not all hormonally charged sex pots who cannot resist our passionate emotions; if purity and virginity were encouraged instead of made to look inferior; if the homosexual movement would stop encouraging sexual experimentation, perhaps there would be no need for a safe sex movement and free condoms. Perhaps we would have a lower teen pregnancy rate, less abortions, less need for adoptions of children conceived from teen pregnancies, fewer teen mothers struggling to get by and support children, and fewer sexually transmitted diseases. ******* Is it a half truth that it is dangerous to experiment with having sex with others? Pro-homosexual reading material titled Homosexuality: What does it mean? encourages 7th graders to visit gay bars and experiment with sex! ******* Is it a half truth that videos such as Its Elementary are shown in public schools to children younger than 4th grade? Such movies do not merely promote safety for all students, but promote the homosexual lifestyle and mindset as totally acceptable, right, and normal. Yes, bullying and discrimination are wrong, but our schools, our states, and our country already have in place laws against hurting and intimidating others, whether that hurt is conveyed through words, gestures, clothing, physical abuse, or anything else, and whether the victim is homosexual or heterosexual. So lets not bring the pro-homosexual agenda into schools under the guise of safe schools. ******* The pro-SOHR newspaper article also quoted Professor Hannon as saying Jesus talked a lot about loving one another but (when 1/6 of gay men are) beaten, you certainly arent loving one another. I would like to point out that while Jesus did (and still does) love people, and encourages loving others, He did not promote accepting all sinful desires and behavior as right, and good! When the Pharisees brought an adulterous woman before Jesus to have her stoned, Jesus said If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her. ******* But Jesus did not leave it at that. When the woman found her accusers had left, Jesus then stated, Then neither do I condemn you Go now and leave your life of sin. He did not tell her, I wont condemn you, go and have sex with anybody. He saved her from death by stoning, did not condemn her, and told her to leave her life of sin. Jesus loved people where they were but loved them too much to leave them there. ******* When someone tells me there is no gay agenda, I ask, Then why are children my little brothers age being shown videos promoting homosexuality? Why are books being published for kindergarteners that promote the homosexual lifestyle? Why are brochures up in the Detroit Lakes Public School counseling office which promote homosexuality? Why then, does every single student planner printed for the 2003-04 school year contain the dates for pro-homosexual seminars? Is there a gay agenda? I havent even begun to scratch the surface. ******* (This is a shortened version of my original letter, which can be seen online at: www.freewebs.com/edify1another; click on "Teens Speak Ou.t) Janelle Conway, Detroit Lakes ******* Mail service for Mission America provided by American Family Online www.afo.net ******* Mission America www.missionamerica.com *********************************************************************************************************
