John's Black Mittens

I made these mittens for my husband, although at the time he was still my boyfriend (I guess I threw caution to the wind regarding the "sweater curse"!). He loves these mittens and wears them all the time. (I did have to make a second left mitten when one went missing for a while...but it was soon found.)
