Rockin' Sock Club ~ February Kit
Inside Out Socks

This was the first installment of the 2007 Rockin' Sock Club. They were a fun knit, and I learned a lot of new techniques. These were my first toe-up socks, provisional cast-on and short row toes and heels. They also used three different needle sizes: size 1's for the toes and heels, size 0's for the foot, and size 2's for the leg. The cabled leg was fun, although it has made them a little tight to put on over my heel. But I still love them! And the clever part of this design is that the socks are reversible! They are shown here with the sock on the left as "right side out" and the sock on the right as "inside out." (Click on the photos to see them at full size.)
