Gray Purse
| This is a purse that I created myself. I knitted it in the round, then turned it "inside out" (so that the purl side shows--reverse stockinette) and added a zipper. I also used a piece of clothesline inside of an I-cord for the handle/strap so that it would not stretch (this worked great!). The base is made of a piece of plastic canvas which I covered in stitches with the same yarn. (I have since stitched a flat piece of strapping to the underside of the handle because I found that it rolled too easily off my shoulder!) (Click on the photos to see them at full size.)
