Gray Double-Layer Hat

Here is a hat I made that is double-thickness. It is actually made as one long "tube", like two hats that are connected at the brim. Then you fold the inside half into the other half, tack it at the top so it doesn't come back out, and fold up the brim! The result is a delightfully warm and comfy cozy hat. I love this hat! It was fun to make and would be great to make in colorful yarn. I made one small modification to the pattern which was to elongate the ribbed section, since I wanted plenty to turn up. Worked great.
