Evening Bag

This is one of my favorite and most often used items. I made this small evening bag from two yarns held together--black chenille and a shimmery accent yarn. I made a small "envelope" (rectangle folded in half), and then added a button and loop for the closure and a short strap. It is designed to be hand-carried. After using it a bit, I decided to add a zipper to the top for functionality. This is my favorite purse to take to weddings and other special evenings out.
