Black Purse with Flap

This is a purse I designed myself. It was made by crocheting a long rectangle and then folding it around. I then crocheted the long strap, attaching it along the edges and bottom of the rectangle part to give the bag some depth. The front flap was done in a loose double-crochet pattern and then the corners just slip over the buttons. I also added a zipper to the top of the purse (under the flap) to make it more versatile by being more secure for small objects in the bag. (Click on the photo to see it at full size.)
