One moment of love can lift us to our highest high.
One moment of pain can make us fall to our knees.
Tears will fall, whether out of joy or sorrow
But we must move on and continue with our lives,
No matter what the situation may be.
Because life is a never-ending story.
Only to be told through the eyes of others once it is over.
Do we even care what life has to offer?
Or are we just blind to the fact that life is a journey,
Full of adventure and fear?
Time for us is just a reference to what is, what could be, and what should be.
Many unknown paths will be crossed,
But will we realize that one could consist of love and compassion.
Or will we bluntly reject what could be,
With the memory of pain surfacing again.
