John's son Paul Kornacki was my grandfather. He was born in Bradford in 1928, and lived there his entire life. Paul grew up on chestnut st. with his parents, brother (Leo), and sister (Vironica). He was a star football player in highschool, playing quarterback, running back, and tightend. Paul scored in nearly every game. Paul met his future wife and my grandmother, Dorothy Lyons, in Bradford. But before getting married he went into the army and spent a few years in germany. He returned on leave and married Dorothy. Paul and Dorothy had three children. They bought a house on North Bennett st. in Bradford to raise there children. Paul worked for the Gas comany for 30 years and retiring at the young age of 55.
