Johannes (John) FRANKFORTER was born 9-6-1786 near Manchester, Balitmore County, MD and died 5-25-1871 in Beaver Township, Mahoning County, Ohio. He married on 7-17-1811 at Westminster (now Carroll County), MD by Rev. Haerbst to Mary Magdalena WITTER. Mary was born on 2-18-1784 in PA and died 5-22-1886 in Ohio. They had the folowing children: Amos; Elizabeth; Daniel; John Jr.; George; Catherine; Jacob; Rebecca; David and Martha.
Amos FRANKFORD, born in North Lima, OH 1837 and died 6-10-1904. I know that his father's name was John and that the family was living in Leetonia, OH. However, the spelling of the last name according to the health records in Leetonia was FRANKFORT. Amos was married to Almira or Elmira SUMMERS born ? and died 3-29-1921. According to the 1880 cenus Amos and Almira lived in Washingtonville, Columbiana County, Ohio. Amos was a stone mason and Almira was a house wife. They had Ida J. born 1863; Henry Elijah born 5-7-1866 in Woodworth, OH and died 2-24-1955; and Mary A. born 1873. . There could be more children as I have to do some more research into this.
Henry then married Elizabeth WILLIAMS on 10-25-1894. Elizabeth was born in 1876 and died in 1963. They had 4 children: Harry (born ?; died ?), Russell (born ?; died ?), Alma LESHER (born 1914; died 1995), and John Henry (born 10-15-1895 and died 7-1991). Harry had one son, Harry Jr; Russell and Alma never had children; John Henry had 2 sons, Jack and William to his first wife and to his second wife, Virginia Gertrude MCCORD whom he married on 2-19-1945 he had a son Jerry and daughter Carolyn.
Virginia Gertrude MCCORD (born 7-10-1908 and died 4-21-1988) was the daughter of Edward Seward MCCORD (born 1872 and died 5-21-1938) and Gertrude Christina ROSE (born 8-30-1883 in Highlandtown, OH and died 1968). Edward and Gertrude had 4 children: Carl (born 1902 and died 1903); Arch (born 2-16-1904 and died 1-21-1955); Gladys HUFFMAN (born 1905 and died 1995); and Virigina
Edward Seward McCord was the son of Harvey MCCORD and Marcha LOUDEN. According to the 1880 cenus, Harvey was born in 1839 and was a carpentar whereas Martha was born in 1844 and was a house keeper. They were living in Wayne, Columbiana County, Ohio with their 5 children: Mathew Wesley b. 7-14-1868; John Elva b. 2-15-1870; Edward Seward; Robert C b. 12-24-1875; and Alice O. b. 2-6-1978. My mother inherited my grandmother, Virginia's MCCORD'S 'family bible and in it it listed the marriages of Edward and his siblings as well as2 deaths. Mathew Wesley married Mable BLAIR 8-9-1898; Alice O. married Daniel MCINTOSH 2-15-1899; John Elva married Maggie DOBSON 3-23-1899; and Edward Seward married Gertrude ROSE 9-3-1901. The deaths recorded were Alice O. 6-3-1903 and Martha (Edward's mother) 7-4-1903.
Gertrude Christina ROSE was the daughter of John T. ROSE and Christina FORBES. According to the 1880 cenus they were living in Washington, Columbiana County, Ohio. John was born in 1854 and was a carpentar and Christina was born in 1857 and a house keeper. The only other info I have on either of them is that Christina's father was born in Scottland and her mother was born in Ohio.

Johann Nicholas FRANKFORTER (FRANCKFURTER in Germany) was born about 1735 in Germany and died 12-1794 in Balitmore County, MD. He was married on 7-31-1759 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lancaster County, PA to Maria Elizabeth STOLL who was born about 1740 and died about 1798 in Balitmore County, MD. Johann Nicholas and Maria Elizabeth had the following children: Johannes Philip; Anna Catharina; Maria M; Christina; Catharina; Susanna; Frederick; and Johann Adam.
Johannes Philip FRANKFORTER was born 5-24-1763 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA and died 7-11-1828 in Springfield Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. He married on 9-28-1783 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manchester, Baltimore County, MD to Maria Elisbeth MUNTSCH.
