Oops, I did it again!!
I bought another Scout II
Ok so it looks not that bad from here, but trust me, the body is shot. Now THIS is a Scout I'm going to strip for parts. Like the 345 V-8 and the 727 Torqueflite Tranny. And the power brakes, and the power steering. Those are the parts I know are going on my 1973 right now. There might be more.

Basically I'm going to strip the truck. Torch off the sheetmetal and body and leave only the usable parts. Maybe find the real rare items, clean em off and set 'em up on Ebay, so I can afford other parts.

It does have some interesting rims on it tho. And a pretty good bumper. And an Alpine radio in the dash... that I hope still works.

UPDATE <Jan 30 2004>: The only parts left on the frame on this Scout are the axles, which will so be removed to go under my 1976 Green Scout II. The 345, tranny, brakes and power steering are in the Red Scout, and it purs very nicely. I have a few body panels and other interesting parts left over, but true to my word, we cut the tub in half with the sawzall, and hauled it off.
