| The Geneva Protocol was passed in 1925. Ishii was given his first testing area in 1935 after persuasion of the government. In 1937, Ishii was allowed to build �the world�s first major biological warfare installation(Harris).� During World War II, specifically from 1932 to 1945, is when Unit 731 operated. The same goes to all of the other experiments that were performed under Ishii. The projects all ended in 1945 at the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. |
