| Venue: The Toyota Center City/State: Houston, Texas -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FUSION BEGINS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [The PWA copyright logo appears and "Step Up" by Drowning Pool begins to play. Suddenly, the pyros blast through the air and the Houston crowd goes crazy as the last Fusion before RETRIBUTION kicks off with JR and King at ringside.] Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen! The last Fusion is upon us on the road to RETRIBUTION in LA! Jerry Lawler: Oh yea! And what a double main event... Jim Ross: You should say triple main event if you include the huge tag match pitting Jericho and Sting against HBK and Brock tonight! Jerry Lawler: Yea but what about Kane and Edge! When Kane is done with him, there'll be nothing left for Orton at RETRIBUTION! Jim Ross: And speaking of our champ, he's in action tonight against Jeff Hardy! Jerry Lawler: Also Theodore R. Long will announce the participants in that huge Battle Royal set for RETRIBUTION live in the arena tonight! Jim Ross: And can't forget the return of Triple H tonight as well. But folks, enough talk, let's get to some action live here tonight! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Val Venis vs. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Sylvain Grenier Triple Threat Match Referee: Mike Chioda [DDP goes for the Diamond Cutter on Val, but Val shoves him straight in to Grenier to sends him over the top rope. As Grenier turns around, Val begins pounding away at him and connects with a perfect DDT in the ring. Val then climbs to the top to hit the Money Shot for the victory.] Winner: Val Venis (0:10:02) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A. J. Styles vs. Charlie Haas Singles Match Referee: Tim White [After not hitting with a clothesline, Haas turns around only to get kicked in the gut by A. J. Styles. A. J. then sets up for the Styles Clash but Haas is able to capitalize and flip Styles over. Haas then goes to a corner and awaits for A. J. to get up. Right as Styles makes it to his feet, Charlie Haas nails an impressive thrust kick in the jaw taking A. J. down and gaining the pin fall.] Winner; Charlie Haas (0:8:16) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raven vs. Abyss Raven's Rules Referee: Jack Doan [After a brawl in the ring, the two make it in to the crowd. Abyss continues to hammer on Raven beat him to a pulp. Abyss then proceeds to pull out a total of five tables and begins to stack them with two in a row and then another set of two on top with one table at the very top. Raven tries to escape as he climbs higher and higher in to the crowd. Abyss follows and takes Raven to a section in the crowd over an entrance and above the five tables he had set up. Abyss grabs Raven's neck and then tucks his head between his legs and power bombs him off right through the five tables as the Houston crowd chants "HOLY SHIT!!!" Abyss then climbs down and simply puts one foot on Raven's chest for the three count.] Winner: Abyss (0:16:03) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena Singles Match Referee: Charles Robinson [Eddie plants Cena with a tornado DDT and then climbs up top for the Frog Splash and connects for the three count victory.] Winner: Eddie Guerrero (0:7:01) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Goldust vs. The Rock Singles Match Referee: Chad Patton [Goldust clotheslines The Rock and both men go over the top rope and crash on to the floor. Both men make it to their feet and begin to slug it out on the outside. Chad Patton remains in the ring and begins enforcing his ten count as the two continue to brawl. Goldust and Rock begin to battle of the ramp way as Chad makes it to six. Chad continues to count as Rock and Goldust continue brawling at the top of the ramp. Finally, he makes it to ten and signals for the bell.] Double Count Out (0:10:20) [After the match, Rock and Goldust continue slugging it out at the top of the ramp. Goldust sends Rock to the entrance way and clotheslines him and Rock's body smacks the steele ramp hard. Suddenly, Eddie Guerrero from no where attacks Goldust with a trash can full of hardcore weapons. Eddie rolls Goldust down the ramp and carries the trash can of weapons to the ring. Eddie tosses Dust in the ring and pulls out a broom handle and nails Goldust over the back with it. Guerrero then pulls out a mop handle and cracks him in the skull with it. Goldust begins to bleed but Eddie continues the assault. Guerrero then pulls out a cookie sheet and clobbers Goldust in the head followed by another head shot with the use of a stop sign. Finally, Eddie picks Goldust up and body slams him on the trash can and then climbs to the top rope and delivers the Frog Splash on Goldust. Eddie stands up over Goldust as PWA fades to a commercial.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carlito Caribean Cool vs. Shelton Benjamin Singles Match Referee: Mike Sparks [After taking a pounding at the hands of Cariean, Shelton begins to fight back. Benjamin, on his knees begins to throw shots in to Cool's gut. Carlito backs up and then knees Shelton in the face hard. Carlito then looks at the top rope and begins to climb up. Carlito then hits a cross body from the top but his own velocity pushes him over allowing Shelton to reverse the pin and get a pin fall position of his own. Mike Sparks begins to count and counts to three declaring Shelton Benjamin the winner.] Winner: Shelton Benjamin (0:9:-44) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Backstage Segment Trish Stratus and Christy are discussing their Triple Threat Match, also involving Lita who will return at RETRIBUTION. The two begin to disagree on who iwll be wining and begin to cat fight. Matt and Jeff then rush over to break the two divas up. Matt and Jeff look at each other with odd expressions on their faces.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill Goldberg vs. The Big Show Singles Match Referee: Brian Hebner [The Big Show grabs Goldberg by the neck and heaves him up and Chokeslams him for the three count. Winner: The Big Show (0:10:09) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kevin Nash vs. Matt Hardy Singles Match Referee: Jimmy Korderas [As Nash heaves Matt Hardy up for a Jackknife, Matt's foot hits Jimmy Korderas as he goes up sending Jimmy to the outside. After Nash hits the power bomb, he goes to the outside to wake the ref. From the crowd, Bret Hart appears and nails Nash with a lead pipe and sends him back in the ring for Matt Hardy to roll over on. Bret then sends Jimmy back in the ring who begins to count slowly. Slowly but surely, the three is reached and Matt Hardy wins.] Winner: Matt Hardy (0:8:23) [After the match, Matt Hardy remains in the ring unconcious as the lights go out. As they come back on, Matt Hardy lays in the ring covered in blood.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He's perhpas the most sadistic man to ever grace a ring. He's sick...twisted...and hard to the core and he returns next Sunday! He's Cactus Jack! BANG BANG! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Backstage Segment [Chris Jericho is shown backstage pumping up for his match as Theodore Long pases by and stops in front of him.] Theodore Long: Y2J...Cracka Jericho! I'm sure you heard about the TV Title match I made pitting you and Brock for RETRIBUTION huh? Chris Jericho: Yea...and Long, believe it or not...I'd like nothing more than to thank you for this oppurunity but being the man you are...and the man I am...I'm not. Theodore Long: That's cool playa but get this. You gonna be thankin me soon cause white boy, your match is now not only a singles match for the TV Title...but a Last Man Standing Match as well so beat that cracka. Holla at me... [The scene closes with Jericho lookling on at Long who strolls down the hall way.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Kurt Angle Singles Match Referee: Mike Chioda [Kurt body slams Bret and goes to the top rope and tries to hit the moon sault but Bret moves causing Kurt to hit the ring face first. Bret then gets up and rolls Kurt over and straps on the Sharp Shooter on a knocked out Angle. The referee drops Angle's hand three times and calls for the bell and claims Bret the winner. Hart celebtrates in the ring but not before Kevin Nash returned and the two began brawling as secutiry and other PWA personel rush to the ring to separate the two.] Winner: Bret "The Hitman" Hart (0:10:03) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sting & Chris Jericho vs. Brock Lesnar & Shawn Michaels Tag Team Match Referee: Charles Robinson [Jericho and Brock battle in the ring as HBK and Sting go at it on the outside. HBK sends Sting to the post as Vince McMahon comes to the ring with a chair in hand. As HBK turns aruond, Vince swings but HBK ducks and kicks the chair sending it in Vince's face as the crowd goes nuts. Mean while, in the ring, Jericho goes for the Lion Sault but Brock puts his knees up and then is able to get Jericho up for the F-5 for the win.] Winners: Brock Lesnar & Shawn Michaels (0:13:07) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Theodore Long's music hits and Theodore makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face. Long enters the ring with a microphone in hand and begins to speak.] Theodore Long: Well...well..well! The moment we've been waiting for. Who'se gonna be in the Battle Royal? Holla holla holla cause here they are! First off, the biggest man in the PWA, The 500 pound Big Show. Then you got the jack hammer himself, Goldberg! The People's Champ, The Rock! The Crippla Chris Benoit! Abyss and if he's able to make it...Raven. DDP! Sylvain Grenier! Val Venis! Charlie Haas! A. J. Styles! The Human Highlight Reel, Rey Mysterio! Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle! Returning from injury, Shaggy 2 Dope and get ready folks because I have signed none other than Cactus Jack to enter the match as well. Holla atcha playa cause RETRIBUTION is gonna be off da hizzle fo shizzle. [Suddenly, "TIME TO PLAY THE GAME" hits and Triple H along with Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring. Triple enters the ring and grabs the microphone from Theodore.] Triple H: I think you forgot someone. You forgot me..."The Game"! You know for a fact, noone deserves to be in that battle royal more than me and you know what...I figured you would forget me so I got my approval from the top dog...Vince McMahon! So here's to all you other wannabees in the Battle Royal...next Sunday...be ready. Be ready to play...Be ready to play the game! [Suddenly, a familiar song plays and none other than Batista appears on the stage with a microphone in hand.] Batista: Guess whose back! And guess who's gonna play the game at RETRIBUTION! Triple H! Incase you forgot...I'm Batista! I'm the animal. I'm the single most dominant specimen to ever grace a pro wrestling ring and I'm the man whose gonna kick your ass at RETRIBUTION to become number one contender. I held that title before I was kicked out and now, after some agreements me and Linda had, I'm back and she, herself put me in the Battle Royal so Trips, looks like it's gonna me getting the shot at Adrenaline! Triple H: Is that so. Well Batista, I know exactly who you are but something tells me you forgot who I am otherwise you be smart enough to shut your mouth when greatness is in the ring. [Batista simply drops the microphone and Triple does the same and begins to take his jacket off. With out saying a word,Batista jumps in the ring and the two go at it immediatly. PWA Staff rush to the ring to break the two up but neither man will give as they continue to brawl. Finally, enough security fills the ring to separate the two as PWA fades to a commercial.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edge vs. Kane Singles Match Referee: Nick Patrick [Edge sends Kane to the corner and then speers him. Kane goes down and holds his gut. Edge then awaits for Kane to get up and hits the Edge-ucution in the center of the ring to pick up the win.] Winner: Edge (0:8:57) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy None Title Match Referee: Earl Hebner [Jeff hits the Twist of Fate in the ring on Orton and then goes for the Swanton Bomb. As Jeff goes to the top, Brock Lesnar rushes to the ring and throws Jeff off as Earl signals for the bell.] Winner via DQ: Jeff Hardy (0:16:14) [After the match, Brock jumps in the ring and begins pounding at Jeff. Jericho then rushes to the ring and begins slugging it out with Brock. HBK then rushes to the ring followed by Sting and Undertaker. Chrstian, Gangrel, and Carlito then rush to the ring and begin triple teaming Jeff Hardy until Matt and Shelton come to the ring to even things up. Battles are taking place everywhere as Orton makes it to his feet. Randy grabs his title and tries to make it up the ramp but suddenly, Edge's music hits. Orton drops the title and walks up the ramp waiting for Edge. From the crowd, Edge appears and rushes to the top of the ramp and tackles Orton down and begins pounding away. The crowd goes nuts as fights continue in the ring and Edge proceeds to pound away at Orton. Edge gets up and awaits for Orton to make it to his feet as well. Edge kicks Orton in the gut and nails the Edge-ucution right on the ramp as the crowd cheers and PWA fades out.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FUSION ENDS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
