'That's Strange'... Hai Shan thought as she jumped in the water. 'With a storm as strong as this one, I should have felt it coming days ago!' She seems to be able to feel it if a storm was coming when she was in water, like the water can tell her messages or something. Swimming in November might not sound like such a hot idea, but the cold doesn't bother her, not in the water anyway, Why? She could only guess... As Liu Hai Shan, a young girl from Enshou, a town on the coast of the Tenyou River, swam with great skill and speed. She noticed another "message" from the frosty waters of Hokkan, but its meaning was not clear to her. All she knew was that it strongly told her to stay in the river. But she can't, as much as she wants to, she needs to warn everyone about this storm, it was much worse that any before. Not that anyone ever listened to her, though she was never wrong, they all chose not to belive a child. She had to at lest try to get everyone, no, everyone would listen to her ready for this storm, or there could be big trouble... 'I'll come back to the river later...' Hai Shan thought as she not to willingly got out of the water and ran home as fast as she could, hoping she was not too late. Urumiya, a seishi of Genbu, sighed as she stared at the gloomy sky outside. No one belived a word she said as usual, but acted quickly as soon as they saw the gray sky. No one even remembered that she had try to warn them with out success, no one bothered to thank her. If Urumiya didn't warn them beforehand, they wouldn't even take notice of the increased clouds above, not quick enough to get ready anyway. As Hai Shan cleaned the small wooden table for dinner, she suddenly remembered the message, the message for her to go back to the river. She couldn't sneak out with out her mother noticing, especilaly since she now knows the danger of her going out there just before a strom. But she must find a way, she's certain that the message was dead serious. Could she wait for her family to fall asleep first? Would it be too late? She had to find a way. Maybe she could be back soon enough? But she didn't even know WHAT she was suppose to do, how could she be certain that she could be back in time? She had to take a chance. So, with the table set up, she snuck out into the already windy roads of her town, to the Tenyou river. For whatever that awaits her.
