Part 9 When dinner was ready, Kob, Num, Donut and Oil was at the table and was enjoying dinner. Num looked at Donut and saw that she was always talking to Oil. He ignored them and was talking to Kob. All of them were staring at each other. Num looked at Kob and Kob smiled. Kob looked at Donut and Oil. Donut, and Oil, I have something to tell you. Kob said. What is it Pi Kob? Donut asked. Num and I are... Getting married. Num continued as both Oil and Donut were shocked. What?! They both stood up. You�re getting married Pi Kob? To Pi Num? Donut asked. Why Pi Kob, why do you trust him when he�s up to something. Pi Kob, I have never seen you this blind before. Did love blind you already Pi Kob? Donut asked as Kob stood up and slapped Donut on the face. Donut held onto her cheek, not believing what Kob, her sister just did. Donut, Kob said realizing what she did. Donut, I�m sorry. Kob said trying to go over to Donut. Donut looked at Num with more hatred in her eyes. You made Pi Kob be like this. She thought as tears flowed down her cheek. She looked at Kob then ran upstairs to her room. Oil wanted to go up after Donut but he knew that it wouldn�t look good. He excused himself and walked out of the door. Kob felt her head and started to cry. What have I done? Kob asked as Num hugged her and she hugged back. Kob cried in Num�s arms and held on tightly to his shirt. It�s okay Kob, it�s not your fault. Donut doesn�t like me and she doesn�t want us to get married. I understand. Num said comforting Kob. Num then pulled Kob to look at him. No matter what happens, I want you to know that I love you Kob and I will always be by your side. Num said as he kissed her forehead. He looked at her and wiped her tears for her, then pulled her in for another hug. The past few weeks Donut and Kob didn�t talk to each other. Donut was always out and was at the market or was at Oil�s house. Kob felt guilty, to what happened. She didn�t want her sister and her to fight or argue about anything. They�ve never argued over anything before, but over Kob�s marriage Donut didn�t seem to agree. The next month later, Num took Kob back to her house in Bangkok and tell her parents about the wedding. When they got there, Kob and Num were still in the car. Kob felt nervous facing her parents because what she done. Num placed his hand over hers and looked at her. Kob, don�t feel scared, I�m sure your parents will forgive you and besides we�re here to tell them good news about us. Num said as Kob nodded with a smile. Num got out of the car as Mr. and Mrs. Punlerdwongsakul saw him. He opened the door for Kob and they saw her. Kob looked up and saw her parents. Kob! Mrs. Punlerdwongsakul said as she went to hug her daughter. Khun Mae, Kob cried out going to her mom and hugged her tight. Mr. Punlerdwongsakul saw mother and daughter hugged and smiled. He looked at Num and told Num to talk to him. Num went in with Mr. Punlerdwongsakul while Kob and her mom were still hugging. When Num got in the house, Mr. Punlerdwongsakul turned around to look at Num. Thank you Num, for returning Suwanant. You�re a good person, and you kept your promise. Mr. Punlerdwongsakul said patting Num�s shoulder. But Donut didn�t come because she didn�t want to. Num said. *Sigh*.. Mr. Punlerdwongsakul sighed as he knew that Donut wouldn�t come back. I know Num, she�s just like Kob, but how did you manage to get Kob back? Mr. Punlerdwongsakul asked. Num smiled. How about we go sit in the living room and talk about it. Num said. When they all were in the living room, Num and Kob walked in together as her parents were staring at them. Mr. and Mrs. Punlerdwongsakul, we have some good news for you guys. Num said as he held onto Kob�s waist. Kob�s parents looked at them then looked at each other. Num and Kob went over to her parents and sat in front of them, both bowing to them. They were confused. Then Num and Kob looked at them with a smile. Mr. and Mrs. Punlerdwongsakul, I love your daughter very much and want to ask for your permission for our marriage. Num said holding onto Kob�s hand. Mr. and Mrs. Punlerdwongsakul were surprised that Num and Kob were asking permission for marriage. We are surprised. They said. How did you guys meet and so on? They asked. Num and Kob smiled at each other once again then started to tell Kob�s parents. Once her parents understood, they smiled and agreed with Num and Kob�s marriage.
