Chapter 1 --- His Life

---In Thailand---

      Tik SaPone is a very successful and intelligent businessman. He was the only child from his two loving parents, who passed away in a car accident when he was 12 years old. He then went to live with his only relative, which was his aunt that lived alone and was not married. She took care of him lovingly until he finished high school at age 18. She then passed away due to cancer that had haunted her since birth. He had a really hard time after high school. Once he became a businessman, he kept himself busy by becoming a workaholic who could care less about love and having to share his life with someone. He once gave his heart to a high school sweetheart and promised her that he would take care of her and they would make a happy family. He needed her the most when his aunt passed away. He needed moral support and someone who he could count on; yet she broke his heart in two because she sacrificed her pride, and their love for the sake of money. She became a mistress to a millionaire that was old enough to be her father. The millionaire already had a family of his own with two children. She didn�t care, as long as he could support her and gave her everything she ever wanted. Tik couldn�t understand why she had broke up with him only for money. Because of that, he wanted to show her that she would regret every dumping him; he would try his best to become rich with using his own two hands.

      After high school, Tik had no money to continue college, nor did a family that would support him, so he went to the military for two years and got the training that helped him become a new man. He became strong both physically and mentally. When his sweetheart left him, he was a dump. He could only drink and sleep like a bum who has nowhere else to go. But somehow, something inside of him, motivated him not to give up. Not to let a woman play with his mind or his heart. He had a hard time making a decision of becoming a new man, he didn�t want to fight anymore; he wanted to hide from the world, didn�t wanted to breath, didn�t wanted to see the sun, didn�t wanted to eat, he was lost. But something inside of him, kept on telling him, not to lose in the game called �Love.�

      After 2 years in the military, he got a scholarship to continue in one of the top ranked colleges in the United States, UC Berkeley. He was already educated while he was in the military and was number one in his class. Tik learned not to fall in love and became stronger as a person. He was a new man, with a new direction in life and could care less what people thought of him. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2 years with a business degree and went back to Thailand to continue for his Masters in International Business. His new ideal in life was �to only trust myself and never become weak physically or emotionally.�

      While he was doing another 2 years getting his masters degree he was also working at an internship with a great company. He was lucky to have a job that taught him new things about business and paid for his living expenses. The boss adored him for his hard work and always gave him promotions, while the other workers were jealous of him and did not want to befriend him. If it had been his old self, he would care and try to make conversation with the other coworkers; but because he could care less about those who didn�t like him, he would ignore them and only talk to them when it dealt with matters of business. When he almost graduated from Bangkok University with a master�s degree the company was losing profits. Most or at least all of the employees quit and didn�t give a crap if the business was alive or dead. Because the boss was so great and nice to him, he couldn�t leave; Tik tried his best to help the company. He went to different companies and banks asking them for loans to help him out. Luckily he knew some people and got great network while he was getting his degree in the States. He was traveling back and forth from Thailand and America doing business with them trying to help the company.

      Two years had passed by so quickly that he didn�t realize that he was now the owner of a very successful company, and was on the front cover of a magazine that read �One of the Richest Bachelors in Bangkok,� he was surprised that he would ever be on a magazine cover. After he was finished with his masters he was working full time for his boss, to whom he now referred to as �father.� His boss adored his hard work and commitment, that he and his wife adopted him despite the fact that Tik was already about 23 years old. His �father� and �mother� were unable to have a child of their own, and when Tik accepted to be their adopted son, they were so happy. At that time, even though he was old enough to take care of himself, he still accepted their offer to repay them for their extreme generosity towards him all these years.

      Tik was now 26 years old, and still single. Many high society women wanted to date him and marry him, but he still kept himself busy and took care of his parents and their companies. He had great friends and co-workers whom he hung out and goes drinking with when he wanted to relax. Also took some Sundays off to stay home to cook with his mother or just sit around with his father to watch the Sunday football game. He told himself, he loved his life, he was happy, he has a family now, he has the money, and many beautiful women wanted him, so he wasn�t lonely. He is a guy after all, so he would do what most guys like to do when they get lonely.

      Even if he had lots of women, he didn�t commit himself to any of them. He didn�t want to love any of them. They were just his antidotes from a long busy day and to keep himself busy for the rest of the night. Being with many women, he was always careful and used protection every time. He didn�t want anyone to claim that they were pregnant with his child. He didn�t want any blackmail or anything to do with them once he gets what he wants with them. No matter how long it�s been he still couldn�t get the one person he use to love most out from his aching heart. He didn�t know if it was still love or just revenge. He was a man who could not trust anyone anymore, especially women. He wanted to use them, hurt them, and play with them, but never wanted to love them.
