Simbolism

The classic green and white flag was adopted in 1968 symbolize the country.

History

On the 11th November 1965, Southern Rhodesia declared itself independent from the British Empire and became Rhodesia.  In 1970, Rhodesia declared itself a republic, severing its links to the British crown. In 1980 Blacks conquere  the power and change the flag.
