History

When Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) was elected US President, at November 1860, supporting abolition of the slavery system - not inspired by humanitarian motives, but by economic reasons and with the desire of send the Black people to Africa and Latin America -, seven Southern states (where the slavery of the Blacks was the base of its economic system) break the Union up and were followed soon by four more states. Richmond, Va, became the capital of the Confederate States of America and Jefferson Davis (1808-1889) was elected its President. Although some Southerners see the flag simply as a symbol of Southern pride, racists to represent white domination of Black-Americans often use it. The flag remains a subject of controversy because some Southern states still fly the flag from public buildings or incorporate it into their state flag’s design - compare with the old South Africa flag of the apartheid years. These racists also use the flag as an alternative to the American flag, which they consider to be an emblem of a Jewish-controlled government. They need learn more history: the Vice-President of the Confederate States of Americas, Alexander Hamilton Stefens (1812-1883), was a Jew.
