Hi Furriends,

     Welcome our newest members, Ruby Topaz and Kimimela of the wonderfur Earth Angel family! A warm meowy welcome to Kona Silk - a sibling of our dear departed Furshp pal, Tiger Magnificat!   Let's pad our paws together and show them around the lodge!  Many of you know them from the Claw Furriends2 Chat group.

    Summer is upon us and we all slow down for it!  Claw will be closed for the month of August, Furship will still be open.  But as most of you know, Furship has know set restrictions, so you participate as you want.  I only ask that you mew once or twice a year, when I ask for a role call in the Furship mewsletter or members that I have not heard from in a year will be put on hiatus.  When that does happen mew can mew at anytime and be reinstated as an active member with your former point furship level.

Thank mew to all who voted and sent in names.  Runner ups in second were IHOP by Pepe and Buddy by Tramp Pawpette!  In 3rd place was Croaker by Moke, Frogfur, Kermit by Tyger's Den, Frogzilla and Mr. Croak and 4th was Froggy.  They were all great names!  I couldn't decide which one was better than the next!

Don't forget to vote in the new poll about your favorite Marapet type!  If you have trouble voting just send your vote to Mysty. The new set up at yahoo seems better for the polls.  If anyone wants to be SirPoleCat, just let Mysty know.  You can visit the marapet site to see what they all look like!  This is a 25 point activity.

    The Birthdays are announced in the Furship Furriends yahoo group, not sure this was in the last mewsletter. Belated Happy Birthday purrs to Playful, who celebrated on June 15th!  Hope it was a celebration with toys and surprizes!

  Congratulations to members who moved up a Level in May!  Saluting Moke at reaching Level IX and becoming a FurBaron!  Concatulations for FurMyLady Storme, who achieved Level V! Padding paws together for FurLady Scraps who gained Level III and FurMaiden Tissy who made Level I!   Way to go All!!
