Here is why I have created this site: I have been going to the local shelter checking for Australian Shepherds for a friend of mine from Southern California Aussie Rescue. During my visits I have seen many pets brought in by their owners. Each pet with it's own story of why they had to be brought in. Most of these pets are very scared, confused and especially sad. I thought that for those owners who no longer keep their pet, I could create this web site. It's a place where a photo and description of the pet can be viewed by thousands of people and the pet might get a chance at a new home and not have to go to a shelter. High adoption fees minimize the chances of a pet getting adopted. If you need to find a new home for your pet, please let me help by letting me put the information on the Internet. Please let taking your pet to the shelter be your last resort. According to the law, the shelter only needs to hold your pet for two days before they put him/her to sleep. |
