| The Invisible Man, from the Sci Fi channel is about a thief that agreed to be a guinea pig for his scientist brother in place of life imprisonment for a crime he did not commit -- though he had been breaking the law when caught. Kevin Fawkes, his brother implanted a Quicksilver gland into Darien's brain that enables him to cover himself with a substance that bends light; therefore, rendering him invisible. Quicksilver emits from his pores and can be transferred to other objects or people. However, one of the scientests assisting with the procedure was crooked and created a glitch in the gland that causes Darien to lose his inhibitions and go insane if he is not given a shot of counteragent every six days. If Darien uses the gland to long, the loss of control will occur faster. After terrorists, in the employ of the crooked scientist, attacked the compound where Darien was learning to use the gland, he flees and becomes employed by a secret goverment agency under the guise of the Department of Fish & Game. He continues his employment with them understanding that they are to find a way to remove the gland from his brain. |
