| PetSmart does NOT support animal cruelty by selling puppies or kittens at their store. Instead, they support animal adoption and allow rescue groups, such as ours to showcase our adoptable pets. We would like to remind you to NOT shop at stores which sell puppies.. These poor pups are most of the time bred in horrendous conditions in puppy mills across the country. They are shipped out of these miserable places to pet stores nationwide, and much of the time they are sick and poorly bred. Their parents are still imprisoned there, being forced to produce more and more puppies while being kept in filthy small cages with their paws never touching the ground. They rarely recieve veterinary care, and get no human companionship or love. When you shop at these stores, you ARE supporting animal cruelty. Thank you for NOT shopping in these places, and thanks to PetSmart for taking a stand against this cruelty! By the way, many pets sold on-line are also from puppy mills - NEVER BUY - Please ADOPT! |
